this arrived in a timely manner and is a beautiful globe mounted well which is lit and turns but hurt by a cheap motor that is noisy and a dim light that you can barely see. still it is beautiful 4 stars
Discount Dinosaur Discovery Activity Placemat
I have bought several place mats in the past only to be disappointment in a few months due to poor quality. So far this product has been great!! We use this place mat as well as others by this manufacturer several times a week for the past few months and have had no problems. The laminate is not peeling away like the others and the kids love the designs!!!
This placemat is fun to look at (he is still a little young for the reading/activity aspect), the colors are vibrant and the images keep him entertained. He feels special because his sister has a different placemat. The thing I like most about this product is that it is actually practical. The nice laminate layer is really a must in my opinion. It prevents the image from slowly wiping away and is super easy to clean. Here, you get the best of both worlds, cute and practical:)
The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because it's a bit pricey. Since it's essentially a laminated piece of dinosaur-themed paper, nearly 8 bones is a little steep. But I bought it and I like it because I'd rather pay close to 10 dollars for something if it means my new kitchen table isn't going to look like crap 3 days after buying it.

My 3 year old son loves Dinosaurs, especially "Rexy." my child loves the vibrant colors and no matter how many times I haved washed it (super hot water), it has stood strong. The back has great definitions of many dino's which is a big hit with my some also.great size, and would def recommend.

I love this matching game-my daughter really enjoys it, although it is not something that keeps her interest on a daily basis. She plays with it about once a week, which is nice. These blocks are excellent (especially for teachers) because they can be used to illustrate patterns on a magnetic whiteboard or chalkboard as well as on paper. They've held up perfectly to very frequent use by my four children, without any magnets coming loose from the foam. They're typical pattern block sizes as well, so they work perfectly with all pattern block worksheets/books.
My children use them on the fridge, the side of the stove, baking sheets, as well as papers.

These are great pattern blocks. The magnets make all the difference in the world when you are dealing with little ones. I have a 2 year old son and a 4 year old daughter and using these magnets with a cookie sheet is a must. The magnets cover the back of the entire pattern block and hold well. Having the magnet on the block keeps the kids from getting frustrated with moving pattern blocks when creating patterns. Buy LeapFrog® Tag Kid Classic Storybook The Little Engine That Could
I will need to buy another copy of this eventually, as my daughter is wearing it out! We have 5 Tag books and this is by far her favorite, but she loves trains so that is not surprising. This classic story is cute, the voices well done, and the games are interesting for her. I think the games are a bit easier on this story, which is good since she is only 3.5 years old. Highly recommend!

The LeapFrog Tag rading system was purchased for my 3 year old son for Christmas. He enjoys sitting and looking at the books all by himself. The Little engine that could was a favorite of his and now that he can do it all by himself he likes it even more. I've reviewed the Tag and the books. Basically I would place this book towards the top of the heap. Sponge Bob is so far the best followed by this book. I rate the books on quality of inter-activity and content. Not to mention the art work is of a quality that you would expect. The voices seem off but I'd have to see the movie again to verify. This is a great activity. Right now they fascinate a 17 month old. And they will be a valuable fun, learning experience for several years, into the reading years. Applications are limitless. Each card is the thickness of a page from a boardbook and will last a long time.The images are photographs and easily discernible. I highly recommend these cards as a great value. My son got this book for Christmas and absolutely loves it. We've read it five times already it's looking like his new favorite. The story is about a giraffe going to the annual animal dance party, but because his legs are so long and his neck is so skinny, he can't dance very well and everyone makes fun of him. He leaves the party feeling embarrassed and sad, until a cricket tells him that perhaps he was just trying to dance to the wrong song. The giraffe listens to the wind and gazes at the moon, and before he knows it he's dancing beautifully, having found his confidence. Charming tale, made all the better by the Tag system. It's really helped my son learn new words and attempt reading on his own, and all the little character noises make it so much fun!

My daughter has about 17 Tag books. This was the second or third books she recvd and it STILL remains on of her favorites! Any amazing amount of characters on the pages to "listen to" beyond the book text. The games at the end are fantastic! I learned facts about instruments that I didn't know. This book has a great message, colorful graphics, amazing music. With all the TAG books that I have personally sat/played thru with my daughter, this would be the one I give to other or new TAG owners. I was a little hesistant about this book....not really sure what it was about. But I bought it anyway. Glad I did! My son loves music, so it was a great addition to those learned skills. It's also really good to teach about confidence. Poor Gerald doesn't think he's a good dancer, so he doesn't even try. It's not until the cricket teaches him to let go of what others think and do what you feel....does Gerald learn to dance beautifully! It also teaches different dance styles, instruments and sounds. Both of my boys, ages 2 and 4, like it! It is a really cute toy! It plays songs, counts, and more. It is very lightweight. It requires very light touch to activate each part of the toy. There are lots of fun features to this toy!

I purchased this on an impulse when amazon had a big discount on it. So far it has been a disappointment. I bought it for my two-year-old, and he played with it for about 10 minutes before putting it away on the shelf. It seems noisier and more chaotic than our other Leapfrog items. The touch screen works well, responding to even a light touch, but once he had gone through the items and heard all of the different sounds, he had little interest in interacting with any of the games or audio prompts. Since he loves trains and animals and counting, I was surprised how little interest he had in this toy. My 4-year-old was only very briefly interested, which was not a surprise considering her age.
If you're like us and only plan to purchase one or two of these type of items, I would recommend the Leapfrog Text and Learn (alphabet) or the Leapfrog Chat and Count Cell Phone (numbers). They don't look as exciting on the surface but they have provided much more enjoyment over time than this.

This book could easily be used as a stand-alone curriculum on culture. Students have to consider every possible facet of culture while creating their own. Topics include government, schooling, laws, rules, and customs, clothing, language, housing, transportation, symbols, flags and many, many more. Highly recommended to all students. Also great for (as I have to do) just using a few selected pages to emphasize certain parts of culture that I really want the kids to think about....
