Buy VTech - Disney Princess - Magical Learn and Go
My three year old LOVES this; she calls it her computer. She types her name and her older sister's name--I think that the keyboards having the ABCs in order versus the QWERTY is great for little ones who are just learning to identify the letters and their sounds. Having "princess" voices talk to her (versus the older mechanical-sounding voices) is part of the reason this toy is her favorite.

Best Addition and Subtraction Deals
I've used the standard rectangular flash cards and never liked them--all those cards to mess with, and they always seem so disorganized (maybe it's just me!). I am delighted to report that these cards are fantastic--easy to use, easy to store, fun for my kids, and ORGANIZED! By that, I mean that (for example) the +2 card has all the -2 facts on the back, and the answers to the front are clearly visible on the back. The round dial works smoothly and is durable with proper adult supervision, making these by far my flash cards of choice! I also bought the multiplication/division set and have been equally pleased with those. Thanks, Trend, for thinking outside the "box" and offering a more "rounded" approach to flash cards!

The idea of math practice with the wheel is good. The portability is good because you can take a few wheels with you in case there is something specific to practice. As far as durabilty it is thin cardboard so it all depends on how much care you take. I think the price is expensive for what it is. I paid almost thirteen dollars and yes even though it is a wheel it still serves more or less the same as flashcards which are 1/4 the price. I wouldn't recommend this product simply for the price factor. Buy Fiber Craft 20-Pack Jingle Bells, 25mm, Gold
These bells arrived as I expected. They are of standard quality and have loops at the top that allow you to run wire/small rope/ key rings / split rings through them. I honestly purchased these bells so that I could connect them to some braided fishing line and create a cluster of bells for my dog to ring when she needs to potty.

Cheap 4 Holes Artistic Zodiac sign - Aquarius ceramic Ocarina (Alto F
I received this ocarina 2 days BEFORE the estimated arrival date! It is in PERFECT condition, is very clean, and what you see in the picture is exactly what you get! (Well, I guess not actually because the string on mine is purple and the string on theirs is red, but that really makes no difference) This ocarina plays excellently! Also, it is a bit smaller than I imagined, but not by much. From tip to tip it is about 2 3/4 inches. Overall, I am very happy with this and would recommend it to all.

Review of LeapFrog Leapster Messenger Bag
WOW!!! For every complaint I've EVER had about carrying our son's Leapster/L-Max/now Leapster 2, this solves ALL my problems!!!
Here's some of the "perks" of this bag:
TONS of space!! Yes, you can fit Leapster 2, the recharging base and cord, and still have plenty of room for games and even a snack or two for on the road!! We're even storing the old battery case (for AAs) in there along with the cord to attach Mom's computer and there's STILL space left over!!
Durable fabric. This fabric is durable and appears to be fairly easy to clean. Unlike some older Leapfrog bags for Leappads and other toys, this is made of sturdy fabric and the area where the Leapster rests is padded slightly. Not enough to "protect" it from major bumps, but enough for when you're walking and carrying it you don't have to be concerned.
Waterproof fabric! Okay, if you travel as much as we do you know spills happen. This fabric IS waterproof and all compartments (even for games) now zip closed giving you extra protection against the "Mom another game fell out" problem common with other carrying cases.
Last but certainly not least, we're thrilled with the fact that it looks, well...not unfashionable!!! We carry our Leapsters everywhere (part of why we go through SO MANY) and this is the first carrying case that he can carry completely by himself without losing pieces and it looks GREAT!
This bag though small is perfect. It has a lot of space for everything including the head phones, games, batteries, usb cord etc. with space left.
My son loves carrying it and calls it his 'laptop bag like daddy has'. I am so glad we purchased this. No worrying about games getting lost or wrecked in other bags. Highly reccomend!

A year later and this bag (we actually have 2 of them) is going strong. Zipper still works perfect, no fraying or rips and my son and daughter are not easy on them. A year later and I would still highly recommend them.

I bought this LeapFrog Leapster Messenger Bag for my son to hold his Leapster and games. It is quite roomy inside and can actually hold 2 Leapsters plus lots of games. We use it to carry both of our boys Leapsters when we are going to a restaurant or long car ride. The inside has 2 pockets with a divider down the middle. We put in each of the Leapsters and the games can fit in the zipper pouches provided as well. It is great! Bought this bag because we have two leapsters (two kids) and they both weren't fitting that well into the original size Leapster backpack. This bag easily holds two leapster consoles and lots of games. Lots of pockets, zippers and slots to stay organized. My 5 1/2 year old can carry it easily over her shoulder or neck/across the chest, but it is a bit too big for my 3 year-old. It looks like it will hold up under the weight of the games, etc. easily. the buckles that keep the flap down on the outside are the same ones as on a booster seat and can be a bit challenging for the kids, but it does have a zipper closure on the inside to keep all the leapster consoles secure and could be used without buckling down the messenger flap. We bought this for my daughter to store her LeapPad and accessories in and we are very pleased! We looked at several different bags...including the ones made for the LeapPad. However, the bags made for the LeapPad didn't seem to have room enough to hold the adapter as well as the games and unit itself...or didn't hold the game unit securely. This does it all! Plenty of storage for the unit, power adapter, games and even some extras if she wants to! Very well padded, easy for her to manage herself (she just turned 6) and seems sturdy, too. We like that there is a divider so the adapter and the game unit are not bumping each other and thus minimizing the chance of damaging the screen. Review of Think Box Astronomy Telescope Explorer
I wish this was still around. I brought this a long time ago for random fun, and I want it for my nieces and nephews. It is a simple kit, that anyone can enjoy even young adults. The telescope is good and I still have mine. Comes with a nice colorful booklet, and a good explanation of the stars and how their color system works. Accurate from my basic understanding of astronomy (it's my hobby, what can I say). I hope they return this simple great introduction set.

Buy VTech - Winnie the Pooh - My First Words
I bought this as a Christmas present for my 2 year old son who has significant motor delays. He enjoys playing with it, and so does his one year old sister. When the toy arrived in the mail, I was surprised that it was a used toy. Maybe I missed this in the product description, and if so it's my fault. But I bought it with the expectation that it was going to be new, not used. Nonetheless, it was a good gift and it is played with often.

Cheap Jumbo Lacing Beads Classic Made in USA Wood Toy

These beads are fantastic quality, they are smooth, the paint is even and flawlessly applied and the colors and shapes are every bit as appealing as they look in photos perhaps more so! They were larger than I had expected, despite knowing the measurements in advance. I was unsure when ordering if, despite the age recommendation (18 months+), these would actually be appropriate for a younger child. (They are right on the border, measurement-wise of being a choking hazard). However, being able to hold them and look at them more closely, they are really quite large, and intuitively seem safe that way.
In terms of the painted surface, I feel much safer with Holgate than I do with 99.9% of the toys out there these days. Holgate is a US company, and has been around forever. They have been making wooden toys for nearly a century. All of their wood, paints everything is US-sourced.
Bottom line this is a Made in the USA toy, at a truly reasonable price, absolutely fantastic quality and a classic skill-building tool that will be fun for toddlers and preschoolers alike. I would definitely put this in my top-ten must-have toys list. It's just that cool.

These beads are fantastic quality! They are made by the Holgate company in the USA -I'm not sure why they don't mention that here, since it is such a strong selling point in childrens' toys. For now, I bought them for my 8 month old son to chew on. I strung them on the included rope and tied a knot at either end; he loves them! If I'd known about them, I definitely would have bought them for him much sooner because I think he would have enjoyed playing with them from as early as a few months old. As an added bonus, I'm sure he'll have fun lacing them when he's older. I love buying toys with "staying power"!It is worth noting that the set I received does not match the picture shown here. I got one each of the red, orange, yellow, green, blue and purple beads that are shown. I also received 4 slightly smaller beads. Two of them are round and two are oblong (a scaled down version of the yellow bead slown). Also, these 4 beads appear to be stained, while the rest of the beads are painted. [As I was writing this, it occurred to me that this seemed a little fishy, and I was worried that the seller might be breaking up sets of genuine Holgate beads and filling in with cheaper beads. I contacted the company and they confirmed that the actual beads in each package may vary and that mine were all fine. No bead scandal here.]
I knocked off one star since my beads don't match the photo. If they are going to include beads that are smaller, in not as interesting shapes and less vibrant colors, they should let you know. But, in all honesty, I'm still thrilled with this purchase.

My son was a Micropreemie and has some developmental delay. He still has trouble with fine motor skills at three years old, and a small intention tremor is his dominant hand. One of our therapists recommended making cardboard cutouts and using a shoelace, but this toy is far superior because he can grip each bead in his whole hand and the bead doesn't slip off the cord right away. He calls it making jewelry! We can perform the task over and over with different combinations for what I would call an extended period of time. These beads are nice and large and good for building dexterity in my toddler. I don't like one of the beads which is smaller than all the others but also unpainted and unvarnished. Ruins the look of the set and doesn't match the picture with two nice red spools (our set only had one). This product is adequate...I'm not overly impressed. The ends of the string have come loose and one of the beads included in our set doesn't match the "look" of the others. In my mind, Paper Jamz guitars fit in that old category of toy: Great idea, mediocre execution.
I mean, the idea of a lightweight kiddie guitar without strings is genius; no strings to upset teeny fingertips, just touch a fret on the surface and brush you hand over the strings and voila. Only problem is, Wow Wee wimped out on the execution and only created an okay toy that could've been trancendant.
The big disappointment is that you can't play individual strings on this thing. I guess I should've expected that but it's a letdown. If you are over 10 years old this toy will get pretty boring in an hour or two, especially with a measly 3 songs on it.
I would love maybe a bigger advanced version of this thing that retails for $50 but for older age group that allows you to play individual strings.

My son's speech therapist brought this and he loved it!! He's almost 2 and he could lace the beads and it kept his attention for a long time, which is a feat in itself. I really like how one piece stays on the end and the blunt wooden "needle" that you use to thread is the reason such young children can be successful with threading. This is a great toy for toddlers; they all need to work on fine motor and this is a simple way to get them doing just that. I wish I'd bought the car one, since the individual pieces hold up nicely as toys of their very own. I was going for something more gender neutral, and honestly, I got these sweet treats one at such a low price I couldn't pass them up.We take them to Church to keep our little guy busy. He would never pick this toy out on his own, but if I leave it and just a couple others out to play with he'll string and re-string it for a good 20 minutes.

Veins are difficult to stick. Return flow is almost non existant. Search for a better product. The model is only good for palpating the perfect vein via perfect skin, otherwise not worth the effort. Very effective cost saving tool for a beginner.
