We wanted a soft place for our baby to hang out while she was not so steady sitting up. It is that, and the colors are bright without being obnoxious, so I'm happy to have it in the living room. The trim, though is problematic and I encourage the manufacturer to figure something else out. Our baby liked to pull it off and then chew on it. It comes apart pretty easily if gnawed on, so this poses a choking hazard. We removed the trim entirely, but then the "puzzle piece" that sticks out is itself tempting to chew on. As in all things, close supervision is needed, but I feel like this is a definite design flaw. Also, the texture of the mats makes them difficult to wipe clean. Dust and particles get caught in the little divets.

These mats are great! My 7 month old son is allergic to our carpet and breaks out in a huge rash whenever he touches it! We tried putting blankets down but he always rolls off them and somehow gets on the carpet again. He also spits up a lot so we end up washing his play blankets often. I ordered two sets of these mats so I now have a 6x8 padded and easy to clean area for him to play on. They link together tightly and seem sturdy enough for baby play. I like these because they dont have the cutout shapes/letters like other mats that can be a choking hazard. They were also half the price of similar products which was a plus! I will probably buy more for grandmas house!

I'm an engineering student, and this has completely changed the way I draw diagrams. Seriously, it's no trivial thing to replace the ruler and protractor with one thing that works better than both. Not only does it do lines and angles, it can do circles with 1, 2, 3, 4, or 5 inch radii by holding one half still and spinning the other half with your pencil in the hole. Habimg this makes my engineering classmates (and teachers) jealous.

Sadly some sellers have this listed under "toy". (How to lose sales.) This a great tool that will hold the angle for important measurements for artists and adult hobbyists, not just a childs toy as someone decided to title them under. This item is not made of sturdy, thick plastic, it's a flexible piece, seeming thinner than the see through plastic rulers with red lines many of us use. I have seen angle rulers thiner and I'v seen them thicker years back, but every single one I shopped in the computer, seems to be described exactly the same and looks the same, charging a little over a dollar to stupidly expensive for the same item, so buyer beware. I purchased mine off the USED section here on Amazon because of approved sellers, (thank you Amazon for the honest liberty of choices and a chance to shop for other prices). Since I purchased this from the other source, if your angle ruler describes differently, please, tell us about it. The one I got might be classified a toy by someone, but, no matter what it's a good, usable tool for my art, and I'm pretty advanced. Mine is the "Safe-T" brand, there are 3 sellers on Amazon, prices vary, but, it sounds like the same one to me. I also want to thank OZBO, the seller I purchased from, for over the top packaging. I will buy from them again.

If your kid is in school struggling to learn angles then this is the perfect ruler for you. They can easily measure any angle in rectangles and triangles with exacting results. It really gave them the confidence to understand and complete their homework.

If Safe-T is looking for product improvements they might consider using a larger font and different color for key measurements like 45 & 90.

My 1 year old absolutely loves this ball tge only concern I have is that some of the balls so not stay in and come out quite frequently, one has already been lost. The smaller balls all have a sifferent fearure like one squeaks, one has points, one is like a bean bag. Ither than the fact that somehow the little balls dont stay in their holes very well.

We thought this toy would be perfect for our almost one year old who loves balls, and it seemed to have great reviews. We were very disappointed with it when it arrived, it is bigger and clunkier than we had pictured, the texture was pretty rough, and the smaller balls either fell out and wouldn't stay in or were difficult for my son to get out. He didn't pay any mind to it all, neither did my three year old. For the price I found it to be a very disappointing product. We are returning it.

I have to set the record straight here... these wonderful and TUNED little babies are NOT only for kids.

In fact, as much as kids love em, sure, they are actually a fairly sophisticated percussion instrument that is like nothing I have ever come across. What I love is the beautiful tones they produce.

You can hit it anywhere, on the middle of the head, the edge of the head, of even just smack it on the rim, and the sound is amazing. I have had people beat mine as hard as someone might hit a snare drum, and with a real drumstick too... and they still sound great.

What makes 'em so cool is whatever technology Remo has produced to make these Sound shapes. The heads are ultra high tension, they are virtually indestructible (and believe me, I've taken em to a drunken and wild drum circle and had people try to destruct them!), and the rim, is so strong that the tone never changes of shifts at all. I've had mine for almost a year and a half, and while yes, there are a few tiny dents in the heads, the shapes are totally standing up!!

Structural Integrity is what I would call it.

Amazing pieces of craftsmanship in a drumming-like contraption.

--Oh, and yes, kids do love em, but I have seen many (including me) adults make all kinds of sounds from these things. You can mute them,change the sound by pushing hard or soft on the head while hitting it. You can use a stick or tap it softly with your fingers... and if you really want to have fun, get a bunch of creative and skilled musicians together with them and look out!!! These gismos ROCK the HOUSE entirely!!!

WOW are these great. This was a gift purchase for my 3 yr old nephew who had constructed his own drumset from pots and pans. These are much easier to store than a traditional drumset and the quality of the Remo Sound Shapes is far superior to a child's drumset. The sturdiness of these will stand up to many abuses a 3yr old can inflict on his play things. The sound quality is far superior to a child's drumset and much better than his pots/pans drum set. The price point makes these within reach. I would recommend to many!

These sound shapes are fine for children's music class, or maybe a drum circle where you don't care much about quality. I guess I was expecting too much from these based on the reviews. The three largest frames were warped so the drums wouldn't stack flat, and the edges of the frames weren't smoothly finished. Yes, they are loud, but not very resonant. I sent them back and was promptly issued a refund. Thank you Amazon and West Music for your prompt and professional handling of the return.

There are a lot of larger kits that have parts that interchange with this one.

My 7 year old really enjoys this kit. I'll probably graduate him to more advanced electronic kits soon, but this one was a great introduction that let him experiment and follow instructions to build items that were interesting to him.

I paid 10$ for it. For 10$ it is not bad. My daughter loves experimenting with it. The booklet has many diagrams to build and what should happen (e.g. the light will light up). What it is lacking is any type of explanation of the circuits, which is unfortunate. Some components are 'black box' components. For example, I have no idea how the FM radio component works, or the multi-colored flashing LED thing.

Durability: the spinning fan thing gets damaged easily.

The box says 'aution' instead of 'caution' which is kind of humorous.

But the kido loves it, so it's not half bad.

How to use: I made copies of the answer sheets for every student. They write down their answers and then check their answers with the dot pen. I have 8 teams in my classroom, so each team only uses one pen ($10 each) but not an issue because students are checking at different times. Answer sheets help students to record their answers and keep track of their progress or know that they need help in that specific area.

Our 8 year old son has Asperger's and is also dysgraphic. He uses a keyboard in school but we are not abandoning the skill of handwriting. Our challenge is that using a pencil with (or without) a grip was not working in our situation. The OT/teachers at school let me know they use the Twist N Write pencils in school with our son and we might want to try it at home.

The pencils are pricey and the refills are not cheap but I can honestly say these changed our lives. Handwriting is still a huge struggle for us but it is not painful anymore.

I am thrilled that we made the investment to see if this would work for us. I cannot promise it will work for everyone as each child is different but for us it made a major impact.

My 16-month old son just loves these cars. He is constantly playing with them and carries one of the cars with him at all times. These cars keep him active as he is constantly running after them. The cars do move with a lot of speed but not with a lot of force. When they crash into furniture or walls, there is no damage left behind.

The fact that these vehicles are very easy to clean (machine washable) is a major plus. The cars are soft and plushy, which is great if your child decides to launch it as a missle.

My 1-year-old loves this beautiful sorter! This cone sorter has inner tubes that need to be sorted before the outer rings can form a cone. The painted wood and craftsmanship is of very good quality. With heavy use the paint does wear on the edges where my son may have occasionally banged the pieces together. Overall, it has proven to be a very durable toy. It is one of my son's favorites--almost every morning he spends quite a while fitting the pieces togetherit keeps him busy. He loves to hold onto the very skinny cylindrical piece. Be careful with chewy-type dogs. Two pieces have already been attacked by my Pekingese. The inner tubes tend to roll away and get lost if my son does not play with it in his play pen. I personally enjoy putting it back together !

We've been using ours for several years now and it's still going strong. It runs 24 hrs. each day typically for about a month at a time. Results will obviously depend on your patience, the media and stones you choose.

Very reliable unit and does exactly what it's supposed to. Easy to operate and maintain.

Would be nice if it had an on/off switch. As furnished, you have to unplug it to turn it off. Just a minor inconvenience.

Absolutely wonderful tumbler!! This is the third one I tried and the third really is the charm. Runs constantly not all THAT quiet, but much better than most, and very smooth. I like the fact that you can remove one barrel to check on things and leave the other one running. Barrels are very tight and leak proof. Very, very easy to set up and use. Glad I found it!!
