I ordered this spinning globe but wanted to return it only because the size wasn't what I wanted.
I contacted the seller and he gave me a full refund and let me keep it!
I love how it looks on my desk.
Thank you!

Felt BBS Bulletin Board Sets / Flannel Board Set: Upper Case Reviews
We got this item for our 3 year old son for Christmas. He adores letters and numbers and tries to stick letter magnets to things that are not metallic, so the flannel board is perfect. He loves them and was instantly trying to rearrange them to his liking. They seem to stick pretty well...so great product & the Education Station was very prompt in shipping.

I first saw the Celestial Seeker when a co-teacher had it in class. I thought it would be nice for myself and my older children. I have not had a chance to use it, but hope to soon.

Review of Tin Music Boxes Toy (each item sold separately)
I am giving a baby shower with a retro theme and have purchased different toys for decor (& cannot rate how much frun, durable, etc). These music boxes are very cute and the colors vibrant; I'm very happy with the music box itself. What I was displeased with is the way they are marketed with "Tin Music BoxeS (plural) Toy" & received only one when the picture shows three boxes and plural for boxes. Had I realized they were not sold in sets of three, I would not have purchased one for the price.
Great toy

I love music boxes and appreciate retro-style so I got one of these and love it! It's got an older design, kind of like music boxes or pop-up toys from past decades. I'd recommend this for anyone who's nostalgic or just for music box lovers.Best Deals for Tin Music Boxes Toy (each item sold separately)

I used to love these as a child and from the looks of it, my small granddaughter will as well. No choice unfortunately as to which color mix or tune so I guess I have to get them all. No hardship, she can have some at her home and some here.Find helpful customer reviews and review ratings for Tin Music Boxes Toy (each item sold separately)

Grandson loved this gift. Even though the ViewMaster is not the latest greatest toy the kids see on TV, it brought a lot of "Wow! Look at that!" when they used it for the first time.

Santa and Grandma together got this for my son, who is almost 6. He can't put it down!! He loves his Digi and "Fists of Foam" is his favourite by far. It's great for kids who are fairly new to the hand-held game world. It didn't take long for him to get the feel of it, and he's really into learning the math areas. I love that the game rewards him and gives him the chance to find the right answer rather than only give him once chance! I am a huge fan of the Digi and a long time fan of LeapFrog. If you want to limit the exposure to all those kill em and blood & gut games with no value, but want the gaming experience-please get one of these for your kid. It's perfect for 5-9 year olds. I was worried that I would have to sit there and read out directions and questions the entire time, but I was happy to see that the game reads out questions and ofers "hints".
Game play is simple for a 6 year old, and I love how he gets excited when he gets to the parts where he has to answer the questions to move on. Anything that makes learning fun for children should be encouraged.

Santa brought my son a Didj along with the Spongebob and Indiana Jones games. He has logged significantly more hours on the Indiana Jones game as well as a new one Clone Wars. Even though Sponge Bob is his favorite TV show, the game doesn't appear to be as engaging as the other two.Best Deals for LeapFrog Didj Custom Learning Game SpongeBob SquarePants: Fists

OK, granted this is a mom's perspective and I have not played many video games. This game came with a bundle from Leapfrog when I bought the Didj for our 7 yr old. His game experience has been limited to a couple games on the Leapster and we admittedly limit his TV. He is not familiar with this TV show either. I tried out this game after my husband objected to the level of 'violence' and had to agree with him. The character walks along and has to chop and kick opponents to get through the level. At the end of the level, there are 6 math questions. I didn't find other math questions, and the wait for those math lanterns to drop so you could chop at them was annoying. Maybe I'm missing something but I thought this game was pretty weak compared to the Indiana Jones one I tried.Find helpful customer reviews and review ratings for LeapFrog Didj Custom Learning Game SpongeBob SquarePants: Fists

Discount POETRY PATTERNS GR 3-6
The best thing about this book is the clever introduction of poetry terms and themes without being intimidating. Sure, the kids are writing ABCB quatrains, but they aren't afraid! Onomatopoeia, haikus, metaphors, similies...they are all in there. Only the kids think they are writing poems about having a million dollars, things they like to eat and all other such fun kid stuff.
The book is not dumbed down in the least. The proper poetic terms are introduced and explained clearly. What makes this book so great is that with each explanation is a step-by-step guide so kids can write their own poems in that same style. For example, when learning about a Diamonte-style poem, the explanation of Diamonte is a simple four sentences long, followed by two example poems. Next the kids write their own Diamonte-style poem following the writing guide such as "for Line 1 and 7 think of two interesting words that are opposites" then "for Line 2 think of words that describe the noun in Line 1" and so on.
The book is written for grades 3-6 but my teenager is also going through this book with us. Poetry Patterns by Evan-Moor is a workbook that your kids can write in. Since I borrowed this book from my friend though, we are using notebook paper for writing the poems and creating a poetry notebook. Hopefully, this year is also creating some budding poets too!

Buy TOMY Pic n' Pop Ball Blaster Baby Toy
Customer review from the Amazon Vine Program This toy does three things really. It clicks annoyingly when pushed or pulled. It picks up balls. It shoots out balls. Our toddler likes the shooting part the best. Pushing it around to hear the clicking doesn't interest him (or us), neither does rolling over the balls to collect them (you have to roll it over the ball just so or the ball scoots away.. usually under some furniture or other hard to reach place). Thus he doesn't really play with this toy on his own. However, if we sit there and load the balls into it for him, he happily launches them back at us for a while. Also, this toy is only about 16 inches tall and our 2 year old has to lean over considerable to push or pull it. It is a bit complicated for beginner walkers, but too short for experienced walkers. Would not recommend.
Thanks for reading, I hope this review was helpful!
It launches balls from the unit and with press of a button ball is brought back in toy, so this is a ball thrower and a magic ball vacuum cleaner in one.
It's specially intended for toddlers, kids who just learn how to walk because it will get your child on the move and it's great that it can be used both indoors and outdoors.
We bought this toy for colleague's son birthday and he was delighted, he hasn't stopped playing for hours with it.
Fully recommended great product for your kid.
--------------------
USE:
The Pic n' Pop Ball Blaster is a really neat idea. Your child/toddler is supposed to push the little toy around blasting the brightly colored balls out of the front and then run them over to pick them back up and do it all over again. The toy works exactly as intended and described, no complaints there. The annoying bit I mentioned comes in after the child has dispensed the balls. First the toy make a popping or clicking sound when pushed. Second, the balls will inevitably roll under a piece of furniture. Third, my dogs go absolutely crazy for this toy and run after the balls and then away with them. So just understand that you're getting a very parent-involved toy here.
--------------------
WHAT I LIKE ABOUT THE TOY:
(+) Seems well built and has withstood some toddler temper tantrums/abuse quite well.
(+) Colorful and really a cool toy/idea
(+) Good price
(+) Will keep your dog(s) entertained or terrified for hours
--------------------
WHAT I DON'T LIKE ABOUT THE TOY:
(-) I could do without the constant clicking/popping sound but it doesn't seem to bother the child
(-) Expect to spend a lot of time chasing the balls down and moving furniture to get to them
--------------------
CONCLUSION:
Neat toy that annoys adults, go figure. Still a lot of toys probably do that. Buy it for your kid already, they'll have fun. Recommended!

Customer review from the Amazon Vine Program Well, I got this for my son, but he's only a few months and won't be using this for a while. My daughters, on the other hand, are in love with this thing and use it daily. Now, I have often had qualms with toys like this (they are noisy and make a mess) and when I took it out of the box my wife made a shrieking noise because she thought it was one of those popping vacuum things that makes endless amounts of grating noise. Instead, this is a fun little ball shooter that serves as a ball picker-upper! It doesn't make a lot of noise (when it shoots the balls it is minimal) and it gets the kids active to chase after the balls because they like getting the shooter to pick them up. This keeps the mess contained (most of the time). So, I'm a fan. I hope the boy likes it when he's old enough to start walking (I'm sure he'll love it) but for now my older kids (who are 3 and 6) find it pretty entertaining!Best Deals for TOMY Pic n' Pop Ball Blaster Baby Toy

Best Plan Toys Percussion Set Deals
I got this for my kids for christmas. They all love it (ages 5.5, 3.5, and 18 months). This is very durable and great. The sound is pretty and it isn't like the other annoying musical instruments. The natural materials make the sound softer. I love it and so do my kids. The rack idea wasn't the brightest idea. Don't get this thinking you're going to use the rack, because it just doesn't work. We have a cute basket where we put this and the plan toys xylophone and solid drum in as well. All wonderful products!!
However, this set of "Instruments" is severely lacking. In total what you have are four large baby rattles and a stick. The sound quality is poor, the variety is minimal and I truly believe that they paint the mallet holder black in an effort to convince consumers that it is the end of instrument-like the large black head of a drumstick. It is not. It's a black painted mallet holder. The mallet itself is nothing more than a brown stick.
Ironically, the holder, the item most complained about on this site, seems to work just fine.
Not only would we absolutely NOT buy this item again, we're sending it back. $ is a true rip-off for this toy. So many better things out there to spend your money on.
Since my daughter is still in the stage where she puts everything in her mouth, the mallet is not in use at the moment. However, she still enjoys rubbing her fingers over the bumpy, guiro-like instrument.
I am looking forward to playing musical games with these instruments as she grows older. I recommend this product to anyone who values music in the home!

Bought this for a toddler in a very musical family. Liked the appearance as seen on the website and the natural material used. Unfortunately, the pieces are rather flimsy when you try to set them up in the holder. They kept falling out and the rack kept falling over. I just wish it had all been a little bigger and sturdier.Honest reviews on Plan Toys Percussion Set
I received this instrument set as a gift at my baby shower. Now, my daughter is almost 1 and she loves the playing all of the instruments. Each one produces a different sound. The yellow one jingles like a tambourine, the red one has a piece of wood in it that produces a clicking noise, the blue one sounds like a maraca, and the green one is hollow with rough edges on one side to scrape (like a guiro) and smooth on the other side to tap with the stick (like a wood block).Since my daughter is still in the stage where she puts everything in her mouth, the mallet is not in use at the moment. However, she still enjoys rubbing her fingers over the bumpy, guiro-like instrument.

I love the idea of these, and they do work. We haven't done as much modeling as we probably should have to get our 2 and 3 year olds interested. I do feel that the paint chips fairly easily on these, especially around the edges. And as other reviewers have said, the stand is not functional on its own. If you want to use it, you will need to attach it to a tabletop so it doesn't fall over. Over all, this is not the most well-executed toy I've seen from Plan Toys (whom I usually love). But if you model these for your children, I think they are still a valuable addition to music time.Tuesday, September 2, 2014
Cheap Questions & Answers Educational Hardcover Books ~ World History
First off, THIS IS NOT A TOY, but I had to give a rating or Amazon would not accept this review. IT IS A 30 PAGE HARDCOVER BOOK. Secondly, even though this text may be aimed at young people, anyone who desires a quick review of some important events in world history would benefit from this short 30 page volume. I really like the way this text is organized. It gives you a short introduction and than moves to the subjects covered. Each section begins by using a question and answer format which is a great way to learn the material. The subjects covered are as follows:
The Renaissance, Discovery of New Lands, The British Empire, The Industrial Revolution, Scientific Revolution, The American Revolution and Civil War, The French Revolution, Napoleonic Wars, The World Wars, The World after World War 11, the Computer Revolution and the New Millenium-21st Century. There are numerous photos in this book which makes the subject material come alive.
In conclusion, if you are seeking a quick review of some of the important events in world history you should check out this book; however, if you desire a more in depth study of world history, you should investigate other history books.

Rhythm Band RB918 Rhythm Tom Boy Reviews
I bought this for a preschool percussion kit, looking for something that would be portable, suitable for children, and offer a good sound. It delivers on all counts. The drum surface is a skin, with the natural variation you'd expect, though is quite a bit more translucent than the picture shows. I expect this to be a favorite of the rhythm box. Though I can't speak to its quality as a "real" instrument designed for use in a band, etc., I'm very pleased with the purchase.

Discount Giggle Sound Station
This adorable laptop style Sesame Street toy is perfect for little hands. The silly sounds are clear and clever, i.e., bouncing ball, bubbles, Elmo's giggle and Cookie Monster munching, ducks quacking, telephone ringing and a doorbell so realistic that I think it's our own front door every time! This toy has been dropped more times than we can count, and it has stood up to the wear and tear wonderfully. It's over a year old and we haven't even had to replace the batteries yet. One side features Elmo's face, and Cookie Monster peeks out from the other side. Has a handy carry handle just the right size for little hands. We even tote this one in the car and it occupies our kids for a long ride.
it seems to be a very durable toy. only one button sticks occasionally and that is after 5 years.

This has been probably the best toy purchase I have made for my son (he is 16 months old). He can play with this toy anywhere and for a long time. He absolutely loves it. The sound are so real and entertaining. Most of the buttons are easy to push and some require a little more thought on his part (he has figured them all out now) which I totally love. I take this toy in the car and he will play with it and it is the only toy that he does not throw after a few seconds. I am buying a few more of these for some of his little friends for Christmas.Best Deals for Giggle Sound Station
I bought this for my rambunctious child when he was about a year old. It was one of his favorite toys. He would even stand on it and manipulate it with his feet. The sounds are not too loud, they are of good quality, and there are so many different buttons that it kept my son entertained for quite some time. After almost 2 years the product is still in good working order so it is extremely durable ~ and I haven't had to replace the batteries once!Honest reviews on Giggle Sound Station

Inpro Solar Wooden Solar Helicopter Review
I got this for my husband as a little joke after he wished for a helicopter one day. It was a bit bigger than expected and just adorable. Can't go wrong with German engineering...so well made! Can't speak of the solar function as he took it off to work right away lol. So great desk toy and conversation piece for grown ups and I think it could take a serous beating from a kid :).
