These blocks are excellent (especially for teachers) because they can be used to illustrate patterns on a magnetic whiteboard or chalkboard as well as on paper. They've held up perfectly to very frequent use by my four children, without any magnets coming loose from the foam. They're typical pattern block sizes as well, so they work perfectly with all pattern block worksheets/books.

My children use them on the fridge, the side of the stove, baking sheets, as well as papers.

My kids, ages 4.5, 2.5, love this!! We paired it with cards and bought a magnetic white board and they ask to play daily!! Great beginning to understanding spacial sense.

My kids and I love making designs on our fridge with these magnetic shapes. The fact that there are 200 of them mean we can do intricate things, and take up the whole bottom of the fridge. My 20 month old loves them too -especially when he gets to take apart our designs.

These are great pattern blocks. The magnets make all the difference in the world when you are dealing with little ones. I have a 2 year old son and a 4 year old daughter and using these magnets with a cookie sheet is a must. The magnets cover the back of the entire pattern block and hold well. Having the magnet on the block keeps the kids from getting frustrated with moving pattern blocks when creating patterns. We may just have to buy another set.

This one of my kids favorite activities in the car....they are also great to entertain kids in the kitchen where they can stick them all over the fridge!!
