I bought this for my son for his 3rd birthday & was a bit disappointed. To get the game to work, you have to be standing directly over the sensor, holding the controller just exactly right & you have to swing with all the power of Mark McGwire during the "enhanced" years. There are times even when I have tried it out that I had to swing with almost all of my force to get any kind of reaction. It took us a few tries to figure out he had to be standing directly over the floor piece, which is fine, except for that sometimes he steps on it. I'd think after a while that won't be good for it.

In the articles before this toy came out, it was said it was the Wii for toddlers...great, my son loves messing with the Wii, so I thought this would be perfect! Not so much, like I said, you have to have everything just right for the sensor to work, which for 3 year olds & I'm guessing even 4-5 year olds, that becomes frustrating after the 10th time you've been told stand right here, don't turn the controller upside down & get your fingers off of the red bar.

Not to mention that in today's world of video games the graphics aren't going to wow too many kids that already have gaming systems in the house. I know things need to be childlike, but at some points the graphics are even a bit fuzzy, which is pretty pathetic.

The overall idea of the toy is good, the learning part is great, the execution needs some work. It needs to be changed to a sensor bar more like the Wii, so that the controller can just be held in the hand without the worry that it's being held incorrectly. Several flaws around this one, not sure how Fisher Price could have had kids try this out & have had this design pass & make it to the shelves. They need revamped a lot...and the folks that have bought round 1 need to get the redesign for free. This was a lot of money to plunk down for something that's not totally enjoyable.

I bought this for my 3 year old son, as a Christmas gift. He enjoys playing the games and it is fairly educational at the same time. The graphics are a weak, but this isnt xbox360 its for preschoolers. My son doesn't seem to mind, as he is always wanting me to take it out for him to play. At times it does seem a little hard to get the console to pick up his movements, almost like a delay. Overall my son enjoys it, and has fun with this and his v-motion. [although i perfer the v-motion!]

I was really disappointed in this product. I purchased it for my 3 and 1/2 year old son. The idea was great. I bought it instead of the more expensive motorcycle game they had primarily because it looked easy to unhook and store when not in use. This was easy to set up and even my kid figured out how to turn it on and switch out the different sports components. My son is truly interested in the games and educational activities, but gets frustrated because the sensor does not work right. I thought maybe he was just using it wrong so I played it with no luck. Even I gave up after a few minutes of the computer not reacting to my swings and motions. There are two arms that hook into the sensor to give the child a "zone" to stand in. The arms do not click in place and just fall out. Even when the child stands in this zone, the sensors don't work well. I was not impressed with the quality of the graphics, but I think my kid wouldn't have cared if only the sensor reacted better. i spent around $40.00 on this product and it sits unused in the corner.

My daughter loves her Bugsby reader, so I just restocked our book supply and this was one of my purchases. She loves it! Cute story, very educational spanish, numbers, letters, seasons. She's been walking around the house talking about which order the seasons are in. I let her take these books up to bed and after we read a book of her choice, she "reads" the Bugsby books to her stuffed animals. Love it highly recommend this product!

My son LOVES this game! He won't put it down! It's educational and it also takes advantage of the motion aspect in the Mobigo 2. You have to move the controller to keep Thomas on the track and another part of the game, you have to shake the controller to throw the logs. My son just giggles uncontrollably while playing it.

My kid is barely 3. This game is perfect for his little mobi-go 2. Granted, he's not allowed to play alot, but when I need him distracted or occupied, like at the doctor's office or something, this is the game he chooses first. the directions are simple, easy to understand and I hardly ever have to help him with it more than the one first time. Of course, we work together on the 'difficult' levels of each game, but that's kind of the point.

This came quickly & in great condition. My 2 1/2 yr old gndson loves Mobigo 2 & this game was great for him. I also love Thomas the Tank Engine. Unfortunatly his favorite pass time is taking the cassette in & out, in & out & I suppose he could do that with any of the games,lol. Well he does push a few buttons from time to time then back to in & out. Then when he can't get it in he gets furious & starts screaming at it. We say "Do you need help?" He says "Hup." So we hup him & then he want's it out again. on & on we dance. So if you can sit there & keep putting the cassette in & out til they get the hang of the game then this is the cassette for your young one.

My daughter is a fairly normal three year old but chews on everything. A speech teacher recommended these and my daughter loves it. Whenever I would catch her chewing on something she shouldn't I would remind her that she needed to chew on that instead and she would chew for a while and then go on doing other things. Worked great. I wish I had gotten it for her earlier.

I've used these with my autistic son for years with great success. The ones I ordered in 11/2012 are about 1/2" shorter than the previous ones I've ordered. This is a bigger deal than you might think with an autistic kid who is used to things 'fitting' a certain way in his mouth. They're still great chewy tubes. Now to convince my son. Sadly, this is another example of getting less for the same price (seen in products all over!).

The Chewy Tubes are excellent for toddlers during teething. They are durable and can reach the back of my child's mouth where his molars are coming in. I work in child care and we have these at work for the children and they all love them and they work great. That is why I bought them for my toddler. I would definitely recommend them. They are a little pricy to use as teethers, but worth it because they are durable and long lasting.

I received my Unique Art Gemstone globe via Amazon's 2-day shipping program. The box was actually larger than I expected and did arrive a little worse for wear, but the globe is quite well packaged inside the box. The globe is padded with a custom styrofoam encasement and the gold frame is hand-wrapped in thick tissue paper to protect the delicate finish. Once unpacked, it was in perfect condition and quite impressive.

The gemstones were fit together perfectly and I spent some time reviewing the fine craftsmanship. The brilliant shine to both the gold frame and the globe itself are far more striking in person than on the stock photos. The pictures on Amazon's site do not quite do this item justice. As with most items, I found Amazon's pricing competitive with their online competition. I would recommend this line of gemstone globes to anyone looking to make a purchase.

I have GB of episodes that I let my kids watch. I am aware of content & context so some of it is a bit much for my 4yo kids. My 11 yo loved it & FIF is bteer for her age. The book is cute & funny. Works great with tag (no issues) & the book is durable unlike books thta have the reader mechanism connect to it.

When my 9 year old son opened this gift, I thought he was going to burst. It is by far his favorite gift. He carries it around with him wherever he goes. The brass telescope is heavy and focuses by adjusting the length of the extension slightly. The handle is wrapped in leather, which is hand-sewn together at the seam. The box that it came in is excellent quality as well--nicely finished with smooth seams. I find this gift to be a steal for the quality. If you are looking for a gift with an authentic, antique, pirate feel with high quality of craftsmanship, this is the gift to get.

I just got me telescope and it is really nice. The brass gleams, the leather is REAL, the wooden box is high quality.

They shipped it immediately and it arrived in perfect condition. I bought it as a sorta salty accessory on me desktop, but this morning at daybreak i went out to the bay and spotted me first lovely lonely mermaid on the rocks some distance away. I was able to observe her unnoticed and the telescope was strong enough for me to see the scales on her tail.

Highly recommended.

ps.

the telescope works by pulling in or pushing out the tubes until if focuses. If you are interested in top quality optics in order to, say, watch an eagle snag a salmon, this is not the right telescope for you ... but if you want to snag approving looks directed toward you that say "what a cut of the canvas that old salt makes", (or something like that) and still get a reasonably close up and clear view of the things you seek then you will be a happy sailor with this spyglass.

It really worked like a telescope. Once I learned how to focus it, I was impressed. It felt like brass, smelled like brass, it is brass. Not heavy guage metal, but resonable, it is a toy. A useful toy, but a toy. I gave it to my grandson, showed him how to adjust the focus and now his dad takes it to football games, but the boy gets to play with it to. So it is a useful toy for young and the not so young. I did have to reassembly it when it arrived, but that was simple and gave me a chance to clean the lenses inside.

This project was a lot of fun to put together and fairly easy. It took me 1 or 2 hours to put together and worked the first time I powered it up.

The only thing that I wish they would have done with this kit is to have four different color LED's like the original Simon game had. But overall, the game plays pretty much the same and is fun.

Can be further used to learn or further develop either color matching skills and pattern recognition and formation by building/stacking pieces in a pattern formation. We personally aren't quite there yet but hoping to be with further use of this toy and others. We found one of these for our 9 month old at a garage sale. She is 18 months now, and has enjoyed pushing pieces together, pulling them apart again, moving the gears, and sorting the pieces intothe storage buckets. We have hosted several of her cousins, ranging in age from 12 months to 3 years of age, and they have all enjoyed the toy so much that we have more to send them as gifts. If you really want to create a block masterpiece, this set takes some patience, but, if you are looking for something a little bit different that even th young ones can work with, then I highly recommend it.

I was excited about the Clipo table when I saw it on TV, but we were pretty disappointed when we bought it. The blocks don't really stick together well, so anything you make falls apart almost instantly. The table didn't do much to make them more fun either. How can you spin a creation that just fell to pieces? My advice is to buy the classic bristle blocks or Krinkles instead of these. They are the same sort of idea, but they work way better.

My daughter got this for Christmas last year. She has played with it about 3 or 4 times in a year. The blocks don't stick together well and fall apart easy. The table takes up too much shelf space to never be played with. It will be this spring's garage sale fodder.
