I'm using these for my elementary Montessori classroom and I really like them. There are enough details that the children can use them classify animals by size, biome, class, etc.

I got these for my 1-3-4 year olds as we have started homeschooling. The picture quality is amazing, my kids love looking at each of the animals and I enjoy getting to sound like I know a lot as I read each animals info off the backs lol. This is a really wonderful game for anyone who needs to learn or brush up on their multiplication facts. Each game is short (about 5-10 minutes) which means you can play when you have a few minutes, but it's also fun to play for an hour. We all really enjoy and USE this card game a lot (my children ask for it all the time!)

My 9 yo's speed is improving and my 6 year old has already learned his 2, 3, and 5 tables from playing. Can't beat that!

I bought these this weekend at a homeschool conference where I got to meet the creator (she was very nice). I have a 4 year old and a 7 year old and they are both addicted after just one day of playing. I like the fact that my children can enjoy learning through play. My youngest son loves yelling speed and making us pick up the extra cards.

The only improvement I would make in this set is maybe put a little bit more glue on the case that hold the individual cards. They seem to be separating on the edge. All in all not a big deal though :) Thanks a ton for SPEED!

I wasn't sure about this game; not sure how my 9yo would take to it. He loves it. He asks to play daily, so I couldn't have asked for anything more. He's getting quite fast at skip counting and I feel more confident about his multiplication facts now.

Laura (8 year old) was laughing and hooting when she beat me at the speed card game. It is really fun, fast paced and she is mastering her multiplication facts without even realizing it! The cards are a great reward after finishing our math work book for the day. The simplicity of the game makes it that much easier to play and so much tougher to master! It is a terrific tool! We have spent a wonderful morning trying out the different packs! All three children love it 6, 8, and 11. The Speed Cards will become part of our daily homeschool playtime. My 5 year-old grandson thought the Insect Lore Bug "Catcher" was just great. He played with it all day--catching sow bugs, other small bugs. He had fun just playing with it--making it "fly" and catching other things with it. It is a good toy for eye-hand coordination. My son LOVES this game! He won't put it down! It's educational and it also takes advantage of the motion aspect in the Mobigo 2. You have to move the controller to keep Thomas on the track and another part of the game, you have to shake the controller to throw the logs. My son just giggles uncontrollably while playing it.

My kid is barely 3. This game is perfect for his little mobi-go 2. Granted, he's not allowed to play alot, but when I need him distracted or occupied, like at the doctor's office or something, this is the game he chooses first. the directions are simple, easy to understand and I hardly ever have to help him with it more than the one first time. Of course, we work together on the 'difficult' levels of each game, but that's kind of the point.

This came quickly & in great condition. My 2 1/2 yr old gndson loves Mobigo 2 & this game was great for him. I also love Thomas the Tank Engine. Unfortunatly his favorite pass time is taking the cassette in & out, in & out & I suppose he could do that with any of the games,lol. Well he does push a few buttons from time to time then back to in & out. Then when he can't get it in he gets furious & starts screaming at it. We say "Do you need help?" He says "Hup." So we hup him & then he want's it out again. on & on we dance. So if you can sit there & keep putting the cassette in & out til they get the hang of the game then this is the cassette for your young one.

This game would get a roaring 5 stars except that we came across a glitch that prevents my four year old from moving forward in her game. In the Peru section of the game, Dora needs to get past a jumping frog. For some reason, every time we reach that section of the game, the "up" arrow key stops working and we are left with only side to side or down. This results in walking into the frog too many times and having to start over the level. Tried re-inserting game, playing under a different user... same problem every time. I emailed the company to ask if they knew how to resolve the issue. Eventually, they sent a replacement game which I received a few days ago. With this new game, however, when we reach a part where Dora needs to pick up a shovel, once again the keys do not work. In fact, it's as though there is an invisible block surrounding the shovel because you can move up just prior to the shovel and try approaching it from the side only to watch Dora bounce back as though she just walked into something. And if you try approaching the shovel from underneath, it does not allow you to move up to the shovel. I complained about this at a mom's group and sure enough one of the other moms was saying her daughter had the same problem with the shovel. It's really too bad because up to those points, the game is really educational and it would be great to see just how far my daughter could go with it. I have emailed the company once more to say that the replacement game also has glitches and hopefully they can identify if it was one particular batch that has this issue and do something about it.

I bought this for my son who is 4. This game is one of his favorites. He seems to be able to do everything on it himself. Some of the other games I had to help him with certain parts of the game. I'm not sure if he is learning that much is the game but he is enjoying it. I was a little hesitant to get it since he is more of a Diego than Dora fan but he enjoys playing it. I just hope they come out with more games for the explorer since right now the selection is somewhat limited.

We purchased several games for our leapster explorer for christmas. This game is very educational, It seems to keep thier interest well when playing it, it has a good mix of english and spanish which was the purpose of us purchasing it. Both my girls age 3.5 and 4.5 play this. Its not the first game they choose but i am extremely happy with it when they play it.

This game is the only one we have for the explorer but my daughter loves it. She has never played electronic games but she plays this one for at least an hour a day. It has so much learning going on and also has a lot of fun. Some dora games for other systems have been really boring but that isn't the case with this game.

I have a 5-year-old daughter and a 3-year-old son and they both have the Explorer game system. I purchased this for my daughter and she loves it. I allowed my son to play it and he loved it too. To keep the peace in my home I had to buy another one. They share the other games such as Mr. Pencil but this is one both always want to play at the same time. Normally, I would not have purchased "Dora" for my son but it is geared towards his skill level and he is able to play this without my assistance.

Explorer Globe Reviews

I would not recommend this globe. I bought this for my 3rd grader and on the first day of using it, the equator peeled off!! I thought of keeping it anyway but decided to deal with the hassle and plan on returning it. It also feels too flimsy and can fall over easily.

What a great, inexpensive globe. It's fascinating to watch a child spin a globe even if they don't seem like they are learning anything, at least they are getting a general idea of the immense size of our world! Since getting this globe, my 5 year old son has learned about the continents and the oceans, found Australia on his own and pointed out that Antarctica is bigger than the USA. It seems that the globe gets loose from it's stand somewhat easily, but it is easily tightened. All in all, a great buy with terrific educational value.

The globe itself is great. My daughter received this for Christmas and she just loves to find different places on her globe. The only problem is the stand. It is just screwed on at the bottom of the stand and we have to keep trying to tighten it up. They really should have made the stand better to with-stand children picking it up and actually using it. Other then the stand it is a great globe.

Grab this book if you have a youngster going off to kindergarten. My little one is 4.5 and just LOVES this book! It teaches so much and although some things are a little over his head, not so much so that he can't figure it out. Great, great book and I'll be buying more. Highly recommend!

These banks are okay. They hold the money and keep a running total. The biggest drawback is that it does not have a sleep mode. It never turns off, so the batteries run down alot faster than other banks with a sleep function.

Not suitable for children under 9. trackball is slow to respond at times, as is the game itself at times. Game button doesn't toggle between games unless you depress the trackball first (contrary to instructions). If you can't slove the word scramble in the time period, you don't get to see the correct answer. Based on the web description, I expected this to help teach spelling it doesn't.
