Cheap Spanish Chart Pack Assortment of Five Spanish Charts ?

On the plus side, these posters are large and in Spanish. I did laminate them to make them more durable. I am not a teacher but I work in a school; the problem is that they are so large that I can't display them all at once due to the size of my office. I do use the months of the year with the birthdays written down.

Cheap Early Lingo Colors and Shapes at The Park DVD (Part 1 French)

I know that language is best learned young.... and that all new moms want to give their kids an edge in life (as well as keep them busy) so I've bought this as a gift for a number of friends and the gift has been met with great response. More important however is the kids seem to love it. One of my friends has reported that her daughter (18 months) is entranced by it and has started to repeat the words and phrases. I wish these had been around when my kids were young. Anyway, highly recommended as a gift or for your own little ones.

My son is 7 months old and absolutely loves this toy. It has really helped encourage his crawling. He loves the sound it makes and he likes to bang it on the wood floors. It seems to be durable and well made and the perfect size for his little hands. I highly recommend it.

I enjoy playing with this with my 8 month old and my 2 year old. It makes a nice clapping noise when rolled. The only thing I could say negative about it is that I noticed that the string holding the clapping pieces has stretched out a bit, but the toy still works fine. I just hope that it doesn't stretch out too much over several years of use (I plan on keeping these toys for the grand kids).

I love this toy. As usual, the wood feels nice and smooth, and it makes a great clackety-sound. The quality is great. I would give it high stars if I had bought it for myself. But my 10-month old will pick it up, put it in her mouth, wave it around for a brief period, and then drop it and move onto other things. Hopefully she will grow to like it more because it is a great toy.

This simple toy is well made and makes a nice clapping sound when rolled or shaken. (Hooray for toys that don't make irritating noises!) While the roller has never kept my baby occupied for too long, it does produce some sweet smiles as it rolls along and claps. Anything that makes my baby happy and smiley, along with being responsible and safe, gets five stars from Mommy!

Best Chronicle Books Eric Carle Animal Flash Cards Deals

Our 16-month old received these cards as a gift, and we LOVE them. If you are an Eric Carle fan, these are especially wonderful. They reinforce "The Very Hungry Caterpillar," "Brown Bear, Brown Bear," "Panda Bear, Panda Bear," etc. She truly has a grasp of A, B, Cs and is on the way to developing color skills. She has memorized many of the cards, like Giraffe, Narwhal and Peacock, and stardards like Duck, Hippo and Monkey. Only downside is that she asks for them constantly, when she wakes up in the morning "flash cards" is the first thing out of her mouth.

I never review products, but I had to make a special case for this one. These ABC flash cards are thicker than the pages on a board book, so my one-year-old can't be rough enough with them. With a letter on one side and pictures on the other (and a very sturdy box to hold them all), these cards have been her favorite learning tool. Better than any book, because she enjoyed taking them out of the box and trying to put them back in. And she tries to stack them like Mommy! She can tell me what a monkey says, show me the horns on a buffalo, and the tusks on a walrus. These are great ... you can't go wrong.

My 2 year old loved these SO much, he had them memorized after the 5th time I pulled them out! Best of all, he now points out (correctly) the letters he sees all around him everyday (so, great translation from the cute and colorful cards I had worried about whether he would correctly associate the 'colorful' letters to the 'plain' letters, in a book) - Boy, that was painless!!! Thank you Eric Carle ~ my son just got his reading foundation, and ENJOYED it too!

This is saying alot, for my whirlwind of a son ;-) -for instance, his preference for reading books/looking at these cards, is that we are actively moving at the SAME time!!!-we may be both standing on our heads -or building Lego towers -or throwing a ball -Because of his learning style, I feel the added interest of the colors was a help in gaining/retaining his attention. He comments on the colors, and asks if the letters are 'swimming' (some of the watercolors have a lovely 'water/wave-like' appearance!). The colors also aided in providing initial distinction between similar-in-appearance letters (capital E and B, or, Q and O --for instance). With a couple times of practice, he was able to easily distinguish the differences (without the color aid), but this was a helpful 'beginning' boost for us.

My daughter also learned the alphabet with these cards, and still loves them, because of the beautifully portrayed animals! (She, thankfully, did not learn them standing on her head bottom in mid-air -she learned them cuddling in bed with mommy --gee, you have to love girls! ;-) -but my son is the best weight-loss program EVER! ;-)

ps PLEASE do not forget to enjoy the adorable (and sometimes, exotic) animals on the back! (I will never forget when my daughter told her Grandma about a 'Quetzel bird' -and Grandma thought she was making it up! ;-) -my one criticism of the animals is the 'Giraffe', I wish it had been 'Gorilla' perhaps, since I like to teach that 'G' sound first . . . but this is a pretty minor complaint -and the Giraffe is too cute anyway!

This is a great flash card set. I use it while my daughter eats dinner, and every time we get near the high chair, she immediately points at the flash cards. I think it's nice that some of the animals aren't the 'typical' you'd think of for the letter (like, flamingo instead of frog). I've listed the cards below.

A: alligator; B: buffalo; C: caterpillar; D: duck; E: elephant; F: flamingo (even though there is a picture of a frog on the box); G: giraffe; H: hippo; I: iguana; J: jellyfish; K: kangaroo; L: lion; M: monkey; N: narwhal; O: octopus; P: peacock; Q: quetzal; R: rhinoceros; S: snake; T: turtle; U: urchins; V: vulture; W: walrus; X: xolo (xoloitzcuintli, Mexican hairless dog); Y: yak; Z: zebra.

The reasons I gave this a 4 star and not 5 star. First, X is for xolo, which I can't pronounce, and comes with an explanation. If an explanation is needed, I don't think it was a good choice. X-ray fish could have been used as an alternative. Second, the letters are in a sans serif font. So, the capital letter 'I' looks like a lower case 'L'. I think the font is fine generally, but they should have adjusted the 'I' specifically.

Those are minor complaints, overall I think this is a great set.

These cards come in a nice flip top box which is sturdy enough for toddler hands to open. It's a little difficult to get the cards out, though. You kind of have to dump them all out at once. The cards themselves are on really nice, heavy board with a matte finish. The colors are vibrant, and of course, the Eric Carle art is lovely. My infant likes to look at them while I flip through the cards and talk about the animals, and a visiting 1yr old enjoyed looking at them himself. He scattered them on the floor and we made a game of having him find the animal and bringing us the right card. Since he had to flip over any cards that were laying on the alphabet side, the game took a while, but he never got tired of it. The cards withstood the throwing, dumping, grabbing and bending of the whole game and still look like new, so I think they will stand up to almost anything!

Overall, a beautiful and study productthis is a real deal for the price.

I have two young grandsons...one is rowdy and very athletic. The other is very cerebral and curious. This, obviously, is for the latter. He is intellectually stimulated by the components of this kit and, according to my daughter, both she and her son are fully enjoying it.

These blocks are traditionally used for math. But they are also excellent for making your own board games! They are smooth and have a variety of colors. Nice product.

I was nervous to buy these with no reviews but I took a chance. Im using them for an art project, they are very tiny, plastic and come in allm different colors. The container they came in was dented up but I think it was from shipping...which was them throwing the round container in a small square box rattling around. However these are great if you need tiny plastic cubes in a variety of colors.

They're all exactly the same size, and there's a hojillion of them. What more could you ask for?

I use them in games to track points and player statuses and things of that nature.

I would have given them five stars, but the dark green and the light green are VERY similar in color, thus cutting down my 10 colors to 9 easily distinguished ones. I'm considering putting black dots (with a Sharpie) on the faces of the dark green ones to help, but that would take a while...

This shape sorter is much cuter than the Fisher Price ones and I love the eco friendly wood look. The shapes have cute faces on them and everything is well made. Great buy. My only complaint is because the box is somewhat shallow, you have to shake pieces in the box out of the way to put more shapes through the holes. My 10 month old likes this toy a lot.

This is a great game. I would not recommend it for children under 4 unless your child is just extremely advanced. My 4 yo can play some areas of the game easily, but the word areas are more difficult and he becomes frustrated. BUT for kindergarteners this game is just right. My 6 yo is learning a lot, and unlike other learning software, she doesn't mind playing it because it's fun and of course there is the very cute and charismatic Sponge Bob.

The goal of the game is to get ingredients to make a new secret sauce. Upon completing the different areas of the game you are given some of the ingredients to make the sauce. So the children get the sense of reward for all of their work. That's been enough motivation for my daughter. It teaches counting, math, letters, word building, and there's music (I'm probably leaving a few things out) It's wonderful, a must have for all leapster owners.

I saw this item on several websites with a recommended age of 3-6 years. I bought it for my son today (he got the leapster for Christmas) The age recommendation on the box is 5-8 yrs. My son is 4 and although he likes Sponge Bob, he told me he can't do it & asked me to play the games while he watches. Even the level 1 games are conciderably more difficult than the games on the cartridge that came with the toy. One section involves counting coins. I'm sure he will "grow into" the games and learn them from watching mehe sits on my lap while I play. I would definitely recommend this one for a slightly older child.

The idea of this game is that the child helps Sponge Bob collect ingredients to create a new secret sauce. The animation is cute, but the games are too easy (my son is 4) and it takes too long to collect the ingredients. Once enough ingredients are collected, the child then gets to play "kitchen chemistry" which is not much fun. The child can either guess at the recipe or tap or SpongeBob to get it. Patrick does the taste test and it is funny to watch his reactions, but "kitchen chemistry" is just not exciting, interesting nor challenging enough to keep the child coming back for more.

In addition to "kitchen chemistry", the cartridge has four other games:

"Counting Claw": Has 3 levels, deals with counting change. the child sticks coins into a slot until he has put in the right amount. My son blindly sticks the coins in the slot until SPongeBob reacts. Then he enjoys playing the claw machine game and the wacky prizes that come out. But he learns nothing.

"Conveyor Chaos": Very similiar to the bunny game that comes with the leapster system. Done a little better, but not very versatile.

"Musical Garden": The child only has to play with assorted sea music until the timer runs out. The child's symphony is not played back. Music appreciation?? Whatever.

"Bubble Scrubber": The one redeeming game on this cartridge. Unfortunately it only deals with 4 letter words. And there is nothing to entice the child to try more challenging levels. I did get my son to start using level 3 instead of 1 by playing it with him and now he prefers level 3. Although I do know the value of repetition, a few more words would be nice.

After experiencing First Grade (which is still my son's favorite), I was disapointed. This game is only mediocore.

I love all of the Leapfrog products so this was very exciting to see. I had considered buying my 5 year old a Gameboy Advanced but I really didn't care for how small the viewing screen is or it's size in general. For someone of her age, the Leapster has a larger screen and buttons that are easier for her to control and handle and the graphics are very good. It also uses touch screen / PDA technology so she can write right on the screen. I love how they incorporate the concepts from games like "Frogger" into a game with a rabbit and developing multiplication problems. It's fun to play and learn from.

I don't feel that this is as fragile as a gameboy advanced either so that's why I felt that this toy deserved a 5 star worthy rating.

Overall, I think this is a really great, first time electronic game for a child of my daughter's age (5).

I highly recommend this Spongebob cartridge for the Leapster system! My little boy is a big spongebob fan and on Christmas morning he got from Santa a leapster and some Leapster games, of course Spongebob is one of his favorites. My little boy is almost 4 and he completely understands each game included on the spongebob cartridge and in the 3 months we have had this game he is already going to higher levels with the game. It teaches while letting your child have fun and that is what is the most important, if your child is having fun while learning they will continue to keep learning!

This spongebob cartridge teaches the values of money, colors, music game and more. The voices sound the same as on the cartoon and it keeps my little boy intrested in playing it still after 3 months he plays this game on a daily basis!

I would suggest this leapster cartridge for all!

My wife and I both loved Zaner Bloser pens while we were growing up. She brought them up a few weeks ago, so I looked up Zaner Bloser online. They are still in business, but do not sell the pens. I was disappointed, but decided to check Amazon.com. I was excited to see that the pens are still available. This was the best deal, so I ordered a three pack. We both thought they were very reasonably priced. They arrived quickly and in good shape. (To our surprise they all came with a refill ink cartridge!!) They feel just as good as we both remembered them. Great purchase experience!
