I bounced around Amazon trying to find a keyboard and mouse for my 3 and 4 year old daughters, and am really glad that I chose the Chester Creek product.

Fit, finish and quality seem good and the bright colors make the kids happy. It's also nice to know that when they're looking for a letter I can tell them what color letter to look at. Size is excellent and both kids have no problem using the mouse. The only bad is that they now want their own computer!

Definitey something that I would recommend and I'm really happy with the seller, too, who shipped the same day my order was received.

We bought this for my 4-year-old daughter. She has been using it for about 9 months and it is still like it came out of the box. My wife and I like how the keys are color coded and the mouse is the right size for a childs hand (but still easy enough for an adult to use).

Great fun and colorful product but the size of the keys could have been made to better suit children's little fingers.

Honest reviews on Childrens Fun Keyboard and Fun Mouse Combo

The good:

My grandson loved the colors. He does not have the handling of the mouse down yet, but the mouse fits his hands well. Everything works well when plugged into a Windows 7 and can work with two mice and keyboards plugged into at the same time.

The average:

The keyboard is a typical plastic build and both the mouse and keyboard feel a bit on the flimsy side.

The bad:

While the colors are vibrant and eye-catching for our 4 year old, the choice of yellow keys with white printing is a terrible move. Simply stated you cannot read the characters on the yellow keys. At this time we are not worried about the punctuation etc. so we will make do, but what a terrible decision.

I purchased this keyboard and mouse set for my six and four year old children. One thing I REALLY like about this keyboard versus others I've seen is the size. This keyboard is regular keyboard size with color coded keys instead of a keyboard with over sized keys. I would recommend this product.

Review of Fascinations Solar Butterfly - Colors May Vary

Customer Ratings:

Very cute. Pretty well made. Solar, but can be used with battery power (AAA). I put it amongst some flowers in my front yard, and have received many comments about it. People walking by think it is a real butterfly. It twirls arond, and also flutters like a real butterfly. The butterfly is nicely detailed plastic.

The only downside is that the solar panels are one-directional, so for the butterfly to flutter from sunrise to sunset you have to turn it towards the sun midday, and again to catch the sunrise the next day. There are 2 little solar panelsif they were installed at an angle, it could catch the sun all day without having to move it.

This garden decoration does work well as a cat toy. The realistic movement of the butterfly excites my cat more than her toy mouse on a wand -she loves it -and the butterfly and its mechanism are a lot sturdier than I thought they might be. The butterfly is holding up fine after many captures and attempts by Fiona to pull it apart or bite it, and it has no sharp edges or dangerous small parts that could hurt her. I don't use the solar power (outdoors) or even the battery powered movement (indoors) very often; its virtue is as a hand-held toy which imitates the graceful arcs and flapping motion of a butterfly better than a wand toy could.

Actually flutters like a real butterfly and the slightest wind moves it very realistically. It's wonderful. Hopefully it will last a long time.

Honest reviews on Fascinations Solar Butterfly - Colors May Vary

Works well. However color fades in just a week. Now I have a black and white butterfly. It still "flies" just no color.

This is extremely cool. Incredibly life-like.

However --

Three stars off for not using a sun-resistant material for something that's made to be out in the sun. After just three weeks, the beautiful butterfly has turned into a dingy moth.

Really colorful and large enough parts of a 2 1/2 year old. Loved the carrying cas; added attraction for the toddler.

I was expecting more. When I bought this, the description said it was a game, but it isn't. You can snap the pieces together, but the head is difficult for little ones. And you don't actually have to be able to count or recognize numbers. If you put all the red pieces together (red head with red wings) you will have the number of dots that matches the number on the head. It would have been more useful it you could match EITHER by color OR number (for example, one red wing and one blue wing gives you the number on the green head or two yellow wings gives you the number on the red head), but as it is it isn't very educational or useful for children who already know their colors.

My nephew is almost two years old. He likes carrying the bug-filled bucket around the house and dumping the bugs on the floor. He loves popping the heads off the bugs and ripping their bodies apart. It sounds kind of sick, but that's what how it goes. He recognizes colors so he enjoys collecting the parts when we ask for specific pieces. He can count aloud and by using our fingers but does not recognize the dots as counting tools yet. As soon as we put the pieces together, he pulls them apart. The bugs are usually used in play with other toys, e.g., his tool set, his piano, and some silly puppets on a stick.

Honest reviews on Learning Resources Snap-n-Learn Number Bugs

My daughter has a bug fetish and this played right into it. The help her to learn colors and numbers. She often takes them to the bath and they work fine. I would recommend this to others.

My 2 year old loves these! They're colorful and very durable. Each bug comes apart into 3 pieces and they need to match the colors to put them back together. This is helping her learn the names of the colors too. Then each bug has dots on it's back and the corresponding number on it's head to help with her numbers. Very nice, educational toy :)

Review of LEAPFROG Ride On Train

Customer Ratings:

My son loves this train. He got it for his 1st birthday, is now almost 2 and still plays with it every day! He loves that the seat lifts up and he can put things in it. Before he could walk he liked pulling himself up on it and playing with the toys on the sides. I have to say I always worried about him pinching his fingers in the seat but it never happened. The music is a little loud but I just put a sticker over the speaker and that toned it down quite a bit. All in all I think it is the most used toy he has ever received.

This is the best toy my son has ever received! Don't pay attention to the person who gave it 1 star toddlers are going to fall and will tip over anything that's not bolted to the ground! This is by far the sturdiest push toy we've come across (my son had 4 others). He goes straight to it everyday and plays in so many ways with all the buttons and activities. He got it for his 1st birthday and just loves it! Even though he's in the 90th percentile for height his little feet can't quite touch the ground yet, but he loves for us to push him around on it.

Best Deals for LEAPFROG Ride On Train

I took my 2 year old son to a birthday party where the little boy got this toy. All the kids wanted to play with it and would not leave it alone. Especially my little boy so I decided to get it for him for Easter. He loves it and I am glad I got it for him. He like to drag it inside and out. He has a blast with it. Just a heads up the yellow back piece comes out so don't pick it up by that handle with your child on it.

Honest reviews on LEAPFROG Ride On Train

For what should be a pretty straightforward toy, there are a few odd designs that really subtract from the overall experience. First, as others have mentioned, there's no off switch. Second, the seat is supposed to open up for storage, but the backrest gets in the way and has already led to more than one pinched finger. Finally, and this may be nit-picky, but it's really silly to put the trigger for the whole alphabet song on a rotating gear. So when a child spins the gear around and around, you get a stuttering "Let's let's let's let's let's let's sing let's lets' s let's sing let's let's let's sing the let's let's sing the alphabet song!"

My baby loves this train. This helped with the learning to walk process which has now been, for the most part, been mastered. Plus, it has so many different things to touch on it. I think that was probably more enjoyable than pushing it. Or sitting on it. Just be careful because my lil one liked to stand on the seat. Unsafe, for sure.

Discount My Mass Kit

Customer Ratings:

I am a Director of Religious Education for grades 1 through 12. Although this is classified as a 'toy', because it has to do with articles used at Mass, I feel that this is more of a teaching tool, and not something to be 'played' with.

Our students in first and second grade will handle these pieces and use them in the proper setting to see how Father uses the real articles at Mass. They will learn the name of each piece, why we use it and what it is used for. Each piece will be handled with respect (so when they get into the 3 grade and beyond, and handle the real articles, the ground work will already have been laid).

In all honesty, we have not yet starting working with the 'Mass Kit' so I do not know how it will hold up. I have handled it so I can tell you that it seems very sturdy, constructed of 'parachute' material, and very well made.

This looks to be a wonderful teaching tool for Religious Education, but once again, I must say, please do not just buy this and let children play with it without proper instruction!

I am a catechist for kindergarten students. It is a very well made and worthwhile set that makes learning about the Mass fun! My students went crazy with excitement and it has really helped them take notice of what goes on at Mass and what the priest is doing with all these "dishes"

Best Deals for My Mass Kit

Our religious education director loaned us the Mass Kit so we could use it at home. Our son is 7 years old and on the autism spectrum, and we have been trying to get him more interested in mass and church. He loved this kit! He went through each item, touching everything and asking what they were. He liked being able to handle the "hosts" also, since he walks up to communion with us every week. We did end up taking this to mass with us, and he set it all up right next to him in the pew. I gave it 4 stars because I would like the little book to be bigger and I wish the whole kit were a little bit less expensive.

Honest reviews on My Mass Kit

We bought this for our son. He asked for one for his birthday. The Mass kit came with everything he needed to play pretend. We found the the felt is heavy, and that the carrying case is very convenient for him to pack up and go. It has been a nice way to teach and him learn about the different parts of the Mass (How and Why the Mass is the way it is). I would recommend this product to others without hesitation. I don't know and don't care if my sons a priest, but he has enjoyed the world of make believe with this product.

Customer Ratings:

Great game system. My older son received this as a Christmas gift and his younger brother was anxious to have his own. It is a good game system that completely educational based on the catridges you purchase. I don't believe in exposing my children to the traditional gaming systems, I want something that will keep them focused and learning! Be careful about the batteries...they won't last long if played constantly. I have the rechargeable base which helps. Would highly recommend!

I didn't buy this toy on Amazon but bought it as a X'mas gift for my son. He liked this toy a lot and was totally fascinated by it but we decided to return it as we felt it was not safe:

1. the corners are pointed and pretty much at eye level

2. easily topples over
