The great thing about these flashcards is that they have only one fact per card. The front side has the problem, and the back side has that problem with the answer. This makes a very clear connection between the problem and the answer. Most other sets of cards have two facts on each card, with the problem on one side and the answer printed in small type in the upper corner of the back.

The cards are sturdy. They have that rounded corner which helps get the cards all facing the same direction. They include every fact from 0-12.

The cards are made well, but they did not have all the combinations of numbers that I was expecting. For instance, if they had 5 + 8, they did not have 8 + 5, which often is very different to a child.

I have a very advanced pre-k reader, and so I got this game as a challange to his 3 letter words that his class is on. He LOVES THIS GAME, addicted to it. It taught him pretty complicated phonic rules (ones that I didn't quite know how to teach him) like the silent 'E' @ the end, or the 2 vowels together, or even the simple identifing of vowels. THis game taught it to him in a way that he never even questioned about it. By the end of pre-k, while the other kids are still on 2 & 3 letter words, he has learned the tools to read anything, I mean even the longest of words. He even won the medal for best reader of his class. I reccommend this game even for kindergarden or even 1st grade. He's reading at a 2nd grade level. I didn't play the game myself (unlike the other games I usually do) but he LOVES it and it really worked.

Both my son and daughter have enjoyed this game. They learned their letters with the Letters on the Loose game. This is a great next step. My daughter is a first grader and has no problem playing this game on her own.

I bought what I thought was an interactive BOOK as it was described. I received a small cartridge looking thing but NO BOOK. As I live in Europe and have done so for the last ten years and only recently adopted a 4 year old boy, I had no idea that what I was buying would require another piece of machinary or equipment. As I had it shipped to my brother's house in the states and then only received it a couple of months later when my mom came for a visit, it was too late to return it. So it is completely unusable and was a waste of my money. I feel that the information provided on the internet should clearly indicate that in order to read this virtual "book" one requires a another piece of equipment.

I bought this after hearing how much my son (then 6 monthos old) loved the stacking cups at his 'school'. He is now about to turn 3 and still enjoys them, as does his baby sister. It's wonderful to see how both of them have played with these at different times. You can see little engineering minds being nurtured as they nest, stack knock over towers!

I would love it just for that but this also includes the sorting shapes to help them work on problem solving too! Some of the cups and wee shapes have holes, which adds to the fun at bath time. The buckets would be fun at bath time anyway (and useful for rinsing hair and little bodies) but it's great for them to explore the way the water goes through the holes of some of them.

Then we've got help learning to count... each of the inner cups/buckets has a number on it, (with the large bucket with the lid being un-numbered #11, but still stackable) and the appropriate number of *things* on each (stars, kitty face, etc.)

This set is very durable we've had it over two years and only the handle of the bucket broke (I stepped on it) but that is not a big deal. The one annoying thing was that the handle of the bucket kept coming off. I stepped on one of the cups also, and it has some white marks where the plastic bent, but it is still basically fine and continues to stack well. The pieces are well made enough that, if you have the cups in the right order, they stack to make a very stable and tall tower... which is just so much fun to knock over. My son still loves these cups, and my daughter really enjoys them too she is just learning the joys of knocking down towers.

Of course my son has other toys he plays with, especially now that he's growing older, but I've heard people say they don't want to 'waste' money on toys for babies this money would not be wasted. It's great developmentally helping build a variety of skills and understanding about the world and it is one of those great simple toys that has an infinite number of ways to be played with.

The buckets are made of durable, colorful plastic, and were purchased for my grandaughter's first birthday gift. She really enjoys them, but the handle that is on the largest bucket keeps coming undone, so she cannot carry it around. I am tempted to return it and try one more time, as the handle is driving us all crazy. We snap it back on, and a minute later is has slipped loose again. Very frustrating!

Actual product is only 8 buckets inside of the shape sorter bucket, instead of the 10, plus holder described in product description. Numbers are 1-8, not 1-10. It only stacks to 2 feet, not 3 feet as stated.

The box had the right information, but this page does not. I can only assume the company cut back to save money. I would rather teach my toddlers to count to 10, not stop at 8.

Also, on the box it says great bath toy and great for sprinkle activities. Then it says, "Do not immerse in water."

My 17 month old twins (who have no trouble taking the tops off their sippy cups) needed help getting the top of the shape sorter.

Also, the biggest bucket is no bigger than my hand. I thought it would at least be the size of a regular sand pail.

There are many other stacking products that you can immerse in water, that you actually get 10 of, and that are cheaper than this one. I plan to return this and notify Amazon of the incorrect description.

I purchased this toy as a gift for my nephew. We have these buckets for our kids and it's been played with for 4 years and counting! Ours is like the description says, 10 buckets with numbers 1 to 10 and stacks 3 feet tall. The handle eventually got loose, but that's just wear and tear.

But what I received this time is not what the item description says. The box's description is 8 buckets with numbers 1 to 8 and only stacks up to 2 feet tall. I know my nephew and his parents won't know the difference, but I want to get what I paid for.

So just be aware that you are NOT getting 10 buckets.

It's just the right level of complexity, but for a starter solder kit, it's too tiny. The distances between connectors are as little as 1mm, leaving absolutely no room for error which is fine for someone experienced with soldering, but not so much for the novice. The fact that no extra parts are provided compounds the problem. If the same kit was scaled up in size, with greater distances between the connectors, it would have been much more novice-friendly.

My son and I worked on this, plugged in a fresh battery, and no lights are blinking. We have no idea why. We have no idea how to figure it out. Hopefully, this failure will not discourage him from future projects.

This product was used to teach young kids ages 8-13 the basics of soldering and providing a basic understanding of electronics. Some of these kids had already passed their ham radio exam and hold a Technician Class Amateur Radio license. To have a simple project that works when finished helped aid in the overall success.

My kids love the iXL! I love the software for a couple of reasons:

1) I only have to buy the software once and can upload it on both of my kids' iXL's

2) Once uploaded on the iXL the software is always with you...I don't have to worry about lost cartridges!

3) It's educational, has easy to follow instructions although the software is intuitive.

4) It's enjoyable. Even my husband and I pick up the iXLs and play with them from time to time.

Overall a great purchase.

Although my 3 year old daughter does not watch Spongebob the cartoon, I got this game for her because she has almost all of the others that go with this system and this was one of the last ones to get for her. I was expecting more. When I bought this, the description said it was a game, but it isn't. You can snap the pieces together, but the head is difficult for little ones. And you don't actually have to be able to count or recognize numbers. If you put all the red pieces together (red head with red wings) you will have the number of dots that matches the number on the head. It would have been more useful it you could match EITHER by color OR number (for example, one red wing and one blue wing gives you the number on the green head or two yellow wings gives you the number on the red head), but as it is it isn't very educational or useful for children who already know their colors.

My nephew is almost two years old. He likes carrying the bug-filled bucket around the house and dumping the bugs on the floor. He loves popping the heads off the bugs and ripping their bodies apart. It sounds kind of sick, but that's what how it goes. He recognizes colors so he enjoys collecting the parts when we ask for specific pieces. He can count aloud and by using our fingers but does not recognize the dots as counting tools yet. As soon as we put the pieces together, he pulls them apart. The bugs are usually used in play with other toys, e.g., his tool set, his piano, and some silly puppets on a stick.

My 2 year old loves these! They're colorful and very durable. Each bug comes apart into 3 pieces and they need to match the colors to put them back together. This is helping her learn the names of the colors too. Then each bug has dots on it's back and the corresponding number on it's head to help with her numbers. Very nice, educational toy :)

I bought this for my 3rd grade son who is learning the United States Geography at school. The Front of the card has the location of the state, and the back of the card has the capital of the state. It best when used with the Hot Dots Pen. It is rewarding for a child to hear the sound when they get the answers right. After seeing my son use it, my 1st grade daughter and 5th grade son both wanted to use it, and all three of my children are enjoying learning the Geography! I would recommend this to all the parents who are looking for a Geography learning supplement.

I never bought this kind of case with the LeapPad or the LeapPad 2 because I had heard nothing but bad reviews, the main one being the zippers were really hard to zip. So when the LeapPad Ultra came out, I was bummed to see that there were no other carrying cases available. Knowing I needed a case, I ordered it anyways. I'm so glad I did. They seem to be made better than the ones for the original LeapPads. The zipper is easy for my children to open by themselves. It hold 6 games (more if you don't mind putting two games in one holder. Would recommend to anyone that is looking for a case for the Ultra!

This bag is very durable and made with strong material. There are holders for the games but I wish there was a strap or something to hold the Leap Pad Ultra in so that when you unzip it, it won't just fall out. So be very careful when opening because it slides around a lot & that extra protection would be helpful. Even with the gel case on there is still wiggle room. Since there is so much space on the other side, I wish it included the net pocket like the Leap Pad 2 case to fit a few accessories in it considering its size.

As the other reviewer stated, this is not a magnetic card frame its literally just a frame. I bought it to use on my white board but just found out my white board is actually NOT magnetic! So check your boards first! If I had known I would have probably bought the other magnetic answer card frames instead. All in all its a good product. I wont return it since my kids like to play/learn with it on the dish washer (our only magnetic surface around the house). I do think, 19.99 is a bit overpriced.

The product photo is a bit misleading. From the photo, I was expecting a magnetic black ten-frame on a white board, which I can then use on a desk. Instead, you get four magnetic sheets. You have to punch out the color disks and their surrounding square from the ten-frame. The ten-frame is a good size and easy to manipulate. But, you will need a magnetic white board. Probably a great product for schools, but not for home use, unless you have a magnetic white board.

Our three year old grandson likes Max and Ruby so we sent the Bugsby book even though we could not preview the story. We were glad we did. The Bugsby reads the story nicely and it's good old Max and Ruby. Touching the pictures elicited sounds or phrases, some of them silly enough to get him laughing. The book is well used and is great for long car rides. Paper used for the book resists tearing and spills too. Kudos to Vtech.

Our 4-yr old got this cool Dump Truck as a gift and couldn't be more pleased. We had the old model of this truck, but a bit disappointed that the other Sprig guys didn't fit it the cab. This new truck solved that issue and now the boy can load in his little dudes and everyone is happy! Sturdy and uses recycled plastic... the packaging was SUPER easy to get the toy out and recycle, no wire or zip-ties (yeah!). The China made doesn't bother us, it is really well made, like all the Sprig stuff we have.

This Dump truck is great. Our little man is on the cusp of walking and he likes this toy because he can get up onto his feet and push it around our house by its handle. Also, as his motor skills have developed, he has discovered that the back of the truck can be loaded up with wooden blocks and dumped back out again. We are looking forward to letting him play with it on the beach this summer.

As far as being made in China, I must admit, that I don't care. I have read many reviews for Sprig products that are negative based on this issue and I find the reasoning false. The product is made from reclaimed materials and I find that is a good first step since, Sprig toys share shelf space with a sea of Chinese made plastic trinkets for us to buy. In that ocean of cheap, flimsy shiny new plastic toys, the Sprig truck really stands out. This rugged little truck is smartly constructed and its muted coloring really sets itself apart from its garish contemporaries. I would feel silly complaining about the carbon footprint of an item I paid someone to drive to my house! After all, no "Green" toy is shipped straight from the factory and delivered by a guy on a bicycle.

I bought this on sale for my dump truck obsessed toddler but the entire thing is too stiff. Half of the fun is the actual dump and undump function. My toddler now pretty much ignores this toy since that function is too stiff to enjoy.

I recommend the Green Toy brand of trucks instead.
