Ocos Rock (Geode) Review
This is small, just like in the picture. But still looks cool. It arrived well packaged and comes with a shear silk pouch. I placed my with my crystal items atop a mirror and use a bright LED light above to enhance the reflective quality. Would buy again.

Buy Numbers 0-100
This was just what I was looking for. The cards are big and the box that holds them is very sturdy. 101 cards that go from zero to one hundred makes it easier to teach my 4yo how to count not only by tens but fives too. I think these are better then anything I have came across in stores. We love the cards I bought 2 decks so we play war. My daughter loves it and she is really learning her numbers and < and > than. I was shocked at what they charged me to ship them it was some crazy amount more than twice the amount of both decks!!

I bought this handbell case for our 8 handbells. The case is good and should protect the bells sufficiently. I wish the case had all the bells separated, instead of two to a section, but for protecting children's bells, this is fine. I would buy this case again if I had more bells.Best Deals for Kids Play Case for 20-Note Handbells Holds 8, RB108 (Holds 8, RB108)
Since the bells just come in a little plastic box, this was a must and works very well. The case and dividers are well padded for optimal protection.Honest reviews on Kids Play Case for 20-Note Handbells Holds 8, RB108 (Holds 8, RB108)
This bag is well constructed, the zippers work well, and it is just large enough to accommodate the bells. They fit snugly, so they don't clank against each other, but there is enough room to zip the bag easily. If you are going to buy the bells, buy the bag. It gives the bells more importance as musical instruments instead of just noisy toys.Find helpful customer reviews and review ratings for Kids Play Case for 20-Note Handbells Holds 8, RB108 (Holds 8, RB108)
The bag is a must if you have the hand bells. It holds them nicely so they will not damage. We traveled with them and the bag and it kept them perfectly safe. Perfect fit!Wednesday, September 17, 2014

Rubber Loom Rainbow Bands, 600 Pieces with 24 "S" Clips, Rubber Review
These are the same color bands that came in the rainbow loom kit so we now have tons more bracelets to make.I bought these to use in my After School Program. We made the bracelets on our fingers; 6 year-olds can do this easily, yet 14 year-olds wanted to make them, too. There were very few that broke, colors are very nice. Very popular, fun craft.

Reviews of Thomas the Train: Thomas ABC Train
Bought this for my 2 year old great nephew,he absolutely loves it,it is durable and he is learning his ABC's from it.A great toy for a toddler who is rough and tough and it still works!A+++ Amazon and seller!!
If you have a toddler that is getting interested on abcs and loves Thomas, this is a MUST TOY!! The only beef I have with it is the lack of volume control, but for $22 its worth the money. You'll have to adjust the volume with masking tape on the speaker if you want to take it to restaurants.

Perfect as a beginning tool for toddlers. It makes for a fun way to learn basic sounds of the letters in the alphabet.Best Deals for Thomas the Train: Thomas ABC Train
my 2 1/2 y.o. plays with this on occasion. i like that it sings and gives kind-of random words for each alphabet letter. not your standard words... for $20, i'm glad he has it because he loves thomas, trains, etc...Honest reviews on Thomas the Train: Thomas ABC Train
My husband and I bought this toy for our 2 yr old son as a big brother gift when he met his baby sister in the hospital. He is a Thomas enthusiast and just recently learner all his letters and numbers. This game is perfect for him. First of all, Thomas talks to you and asks you to find this letter or that. He sings the ABCs and stops sometimes to ask what letter comes next. Or you can hit any letter for him to tell you about that letter. There is a song option too, but my son so far loves the ABC part of it. Parents you have an on /off switch. There isn't a volume button, but tape on the speaker works too. It comes ready to play. I haven't seen these in stores, so I was excited to fond it on amazon. If you have a toddler that is getting interested on abcs and loves Thomas, this is a MUST TOY!! Discount Grand Illusions Pit and Pendulum 12" Creating Designs in Sand
I do like this sand pendulum, however, the angle of the "upright" holder isn't the right angle so it ends up stopping short and much of the outer area does not get used.
If it had only come with just another Tblsp-full or so of sand, and the upright angle was corrected, it would probably make fantastic designs. I'm still trying to play with it regardless of the bad angle and lack of sand. But unfortunately my family isn't interested in it at all as I thought they'd be.
It comes with a pendulum point cover that's used to smooth out the sand. That's equivalent to using a paper towel to mop up a flood in the kitchen, per se. There should be a better tool to level the sand before using.
Also, it only comes with assembly instructions and no booklet or printed paper that gives you suggestions on how to make certain designs.
The concept is good but the same old design (pretty much every time), lack of the cool sand, lack of design directions as well as a leveling tool make this "okay".

It's plastic. What can I say. The design is not well thought out. The top metal piece that goes in the grooves pops out easily if you touch it. The cost of these pit and pendulums today is exhorbanant! You can find better stuff....much less expensive. I would say, don't waste your time or money. Not worth it.Thursday, June 26, 2014

Review of Hawaiian Theme Ukulele - Uke Toy (Mini Guitar) for Kids
Customer Ratings:
List Price: $59.95
Sale Price: $19.95

I bought a pair of these for my niece and nephew for their 2nd birthday, and they love the guitars. They clearly don't care that some of the tuning mechanisms are detached from the back of the headstock or that the guitar cannot be tuned at all. As toys they are fun for toddlers (subject to the danger that they may bash each others or get hurt by the metal strings). By age 3 or 4, though, a kid may prefer a guitar with reasonable pitch.

Buy Hape Eco Animal Tower Stack and Nest Shape Sorting Cubes
My baby girl likes these, although they can be difficult for babies under one bc they are blocks and babies can hit themselves on their head. For the price I would have liked to received more than just the 9 pieces, but they are eco-friendly. It's a fun toy for her and building blocks help so much with teaching babies.

Cheap LeapFrog® Letters with Lulu
My 9 month old son just loves playing with lulu.It has a sweet voice and the battery lasts long. There are 3 different modes. The feather touch screen is easy for babies to touch and play the song.He has been playing with it since he was 6 months old.And this seems to be the only toy he never gets tired of.Absolutely love this toy!
I definitely recommend this toy. It's great for helping with sitting up as well. I just place it between his legs and he hits away.
The only con is the switch is in the back and you have to leave her unvelcro'd to get at it.
It's a great way for babies and toddlers to learn the alphabet.

My 7month old LOVES this toy. We take LuLu everywhere we go. He loves hitting her belly and watching the letters change. It keeps him very entertained. Her voice is also actually really cute which is a nice change from some toys. :)I definitely recommend this toy. It's great for helping with sitting up as well. I can't say enough good things about this toy. It's completely adorable! The materials used are of top quality. There are multiple learning activities -the sing-a-long to the Alphabet Song and the learning each letter game are the best. Our 1 1/2 year old niece loved it and so did her parents!Honest reviews on LeapFrog® Letters with Lulu

I got this toy for my 18 month old niece, she was initially scared of it because of it's legs, but after she heard the toy singing songs she got extremely happy. She now plays with it all the time and loves to sing along with this lovely lulu toy. Overall very satisfied with the purchase.Wednesday, May 28, 2014
Reviews of Chicco Tot Smart Laptop
This was the only laptop I found that was more advanced than the three-button-baby-variety but not so advanced as the receives-real-email-preschool-variety. My 17 month old son is still too young to play the educational games, but the features he enjoys are all the buttons/switches, a "touch-mouse pad," and the songs. It seems pretty durable because he's forced the "monitor" pass the 90 degree point (ie, extended it so that it was flat), but it's not broken and can still stay open at the normal position. It's a bilingual machine and has two settings for volume. I hope that my son will continue to enjoy this toy for months/?years to come.

Smart Frames Animal Runners-Zebra Review
I love this toy, and so does my 7-month-old daughter! It's well-made, and moves fairly well on wheels. My daughter likes to pick it up by the wire around it and shake it and gnaw on it. Great little toy.

Cheap Playme Counting Beads
I'm way outside the intended demographic for this product, but it has met a real need that I searched high and low to fill. I practice piano a lot, and one of the key elements of my practice is repeating the same passages over and over again until I perfect them. An abacus-type instrument is perfect for this kind of counting, but I really didn't want a full abacus on my piano I only needed two rows of beads. This fit the bill perfectly I could detach two of the rows, put them on my piano, and use them to count away.

This is an excellent abacus. It helped my son, who was delayed in his studies, understand how to count to 100. It is also helped him with learning addition. We can only focus on one set of 10 for the addition (his addition problems are within 10), and that is exactly what he needs. We have had the abacus for 6 months now and it gets regular use. Shipper was prompt. Please note that the product when stacked up to 10 rods, needs to be held with one hand.Best Deals for Playme Counting Beads
Just got this for the grand kids to help them learn there math without using there fingers to add and subtract, from the first time they used it they where very thankful. It works just as they say it would and is sturdy and well built. Great that it can be taken apart in rows off 10 , 20 , 30 up to 100. less confusing for the very beginners.Honest reviews on Playme Counting Beads
I am a piano teacher and I give these to my students in increments so that they practice their songs 10, 20 or 30 times a week depending on their age and level. I love that they come in single rows so that I can divide them up between my students.Find helpful customer reviews and review ratings for Playme Counting Beads
A while ago I was looking for mini-abacus consisting of two rows of the beads which would be less confusing for 3-4 year old to use. This is it! My son is using this for now for building fences, but I am sure he will get to counting as well. I can see this as very useful learning material for a family with multiple children. Product is made in Taiwan. Quality is very good. Wood and the connections are good quality and the paint (looks more like a stain which is good because it will not chip) is good quality. There was no smell of paint upon opening of the box (as I have noticed with some other painted wood toys. The The individual rods sit one on the other, but they are not tightly connected. Overall, pricy, but very good quality, educational, fun toy/learning material. Creative toy!
