I expected that the car would just crawl around, but to my and my 4 year and 6 year old grandchildren surprise they had a great time chasing it around the kitchen. A good example of how a battery works, also wiring is easy but interesting. Well worth the effort to assemble, make sure and "deburr" as stated in instructions.

We tried the Dwink holders over others based on reviews we read and I am glad we did. These work! They aren't perfect. Our 20 month old still figures out how to turn it upside down and make a mess and he has even figured out how to get the box out, but it is better than giving him the box straight. I'm not sure why some people are saying that the Hansen's juice boxes don't fit the dwink boxes. They fit very well for us. If you turn it sideways, it holds the juice box very snug so it doesn't wobble around. And the dwink box holds Capri Suns the best out of every holder we've tried.

This case is great for letting my niece play with my old iPhone. The following are some tips that I left as a comment, but figured everyone might benefit from.:)

So you're not constantly opening up the case to turn it on and off or change apps: I have found that flipping the phone 180 degrees in the case allows you access to the "home" button, but the film is still firm enough that it takes a little work for a toddler to press it. You can change your iPhone's settings to auto-lock "never", but I find setting it to "5 minutes" is usually enough. If my niece hasn't played with the thing in 5 minutes, she's probably lost interest. A trick for saving battery life is to put the phone in airplane mode before putting it in the case. No unwanted phone calls, no accidental internet access. Don't have a quarter handy to open the back? A standard house or car key will usually do the trick. Some plastic links from children's toys will fit the lock slot as well.

My only concerns: I wish there was a way to charge the phone while in the case without compromising the safety of the device when it's played with. A rubber stopper, maybe? And YES, a way to access the headphone port would be great, because then I could plug it in to speakers or other sources without opening the case. If you had a speaker in the case itself that could be connected to the headphone jack from the inside, that might be cool.

I purchased this so my 2 year old son could watch his shows Handy Manny, Chuggington, etc. while the family is out and about. It offers the BEST protection for the iPhone out of any case I have tried. I love that it covers the home button so his little thumb does not always hit it and stop the show. However on that note, at the end of a movie if the phone shuts off before you can start another, you must remove the phone from the case to turn it back on. I also wish it hand been designed with HANDLES in the widescreen position so when he is watching a show or movie he can hold on to handles. I do not think the rings on the case are needed. Buy the time it was released he was already 2 and not into playing with them. I have downloaded all 3 apps they promote with this product but found he is not interested in them, maybe for someone who is younger.

My main use of this product is to protect mt iPhone while he is watching movies.

Make sure you carry a quarter to lock & unlock this case as it is a tight fit.

I was not sure if this would work for us or not. I found it at a store and decided to give it a try. My son has his own iPod touch and in our old case he would always reset the thing because he could get to the round button. We really wanted a case that would let him use t he touch screen but would only let us use the button. This was good in that he could use the screen and could not touch the round button, the only problem was that if we had to get to the button it was really a pain because you have to open the back and take the iPod out of the case. To fix this problem my husband drilled a hole in the cover above the button. We now use a pen to push the button but my son cannot access the button. This took care of the problem! We have only taken it out of the case to recharge it. If the case came with this hole then I would have given it 5 stars. Overall this seems like a great case and he sees to like it more than the otter box case that he had before. One other thing. I have read that wifi can be unhealthy for little kids so we just put the airplane mode on and the device stops sending and receiving any signals. This works well because the last thing I need is my 2 yr old surfing the Internet.

My 1 year old loves our iPod touch, but is constantly pressing the home button by mistake. This would have been a great product if Fisher-Price had taken a little time to be innovative, rather than giving us a case that is nothing more than a big plastic jail for our iPod.

Here's why it is unusable: There is no way for "Parent" to tap the home button, control the volume or turn the device on and off. Basically, what this means is that as soon as baby stops using the device, the app will go into sleep mode with no way to turn it back on .... parent is forced to completely remove the device from the case to turn it back on.

This would have been almost forgivable if Fisher Price had give Parent a way to easily take the device out of the case to turn it back on. Instead, I have to go grab a coin every time the device goes into sleep mode, and clumsily remove the device from the case.

As for leaving a 5 star rating....that's based on how the order was handled. Shipping was very quick and price was very reasonable, the best actually..should have bought both that were offered at the time..As for the item itself..these are all built pretty much the same,

Once the top strips out.. you are in trouble, so .you must always take care as to not to apply to much pressure on the eyepiece. All in all, they do last some time, my first is still usable even with it being stripped..I just use an over sized rubber band to apply pressure down on the eyepiece. I would say if you do a lot of this type of photography..you should always have 2.

I went through all kinds gyrations trying to figure an easy way to put close up pictures from my microscope to my computer. The answer was so simple... Just take a shot through the eyepiece using the simple adapter clamp. No frills, just does what it is supposed to.

As a literacy specialist, I do reading intervention with many ELLs. The colorful pictures really help support my students and expand their daily vocabulary. We already do other forms of word ladders (on whiteboards, using context on worksheets, etc.). It's nice for them to make words kinesthetically and see how words are phonetically related. My students have told me that they really like using this word ladder; it is very engaging even to third graders. I was, however, surprised at how large it is. It's the perfect size for a classroom, but a bit large for a little office.

My son has severe PICA and has eaten (not just chewed) just about everything he comes in coantact with. This product is AMAZING!! It has virtually eliminated him chewing on anything else! Not only has he almost exclusively been using this product, but also it is incredibly durable! He hasn't chewed off or ingested any of it! He loves the chocolate flavor (he says he is a chocoholic :) and enjoys the different textures (the boxes are his favorite). We will definitely be purchasing more of these!

I ordered these for my kids and one for myself because I'm a chewer too. When I first got them, I could smell the chocolate smell eminating from them and it made my mouth water. The kids were even excited to get it. We opened them up and started knawing on them right away and we were all a bit disappointed. Although it smells like chocolate so much you'll really want to chew on it, it does not have a chocolate taste. The taste is so faint it's more like chewing on plastic while smelling a bar of chocolate. I keep mine in my purse for stressed out times, and the kids took theirs to school for when they're caught chewing on their shirts or pencils, but the teacher informs me that they are not even using them. I would start with a plain one with no flavor and if your child loves it, then move on to these ones. Because you expect to taste something good, and you get sadly dissappointed. The good thing is that they are very strong so it will take a child awhile before completely chewing through them.

I bought these to use in my After School Program. We made the bracelets on our fingers; 6 year-olds can do this easily, yet 14 year-olds wanted to make them, too. There were very few that broke, colors are very nice. Very popular, fun craft.

This is a great toy. I have two children who are 6 and 3. They both enjoy playing with this toy. I also enjoy playing with this toy. My 6 year old would definitely like to have more in order to make more complicated shapes/structures. Overall a very cool toy.

This may be the best toy ever.

The parts are well made. The box is pretty small, but when I started working with them, there were plenty to have fun with. The magnets are strong enough to make structures, but you have to build the structure carefully, so it is well braced.

This size set gives you plenty to get started with, but you will need more to satisfy your craving for larger structures. There are some videos on YouTube which are great, but have monstrous size sets.

I suppose that when my 6 year old granddaughter comes over, I will let her play with them...

I am really pleased with this toy. My 9 yo son has played with it several times since receiving it for Christmas and will play with it for hours, no exaggeration. He likes to make different shapes with it and unfold them then ask me what shape it becomes when put back to 3D. And yes he is a normal child who enjoys video games more than I care to have him play. I was also very happy that they arrived much earlier than promised. I was told it would be early January (they were shipped from the UK) but we got them before Christmas! I believe I will be ordering more so he can build on this set. His birthday is right around the corner.....
