I bought a pair of these for my niece and nephew for their 2nd birthday, and they love the guitars. They clearly don't care that some of the tuning mechanisms are detached from the back of the headstock or that the guitar cannot be tuned at all. As toys they are fun for toddlers (subject to the danger that they may bash each others or get hurt by the metal strings). By age 3 or 4, though, a kid may prefer a guitar with reasonable pitch.
