Grab this book if you have a youngster going off to kindergarten. My little one is 4.5 and just LOVES this book! It teaches so much and although some things are a little over his head, not so much so that he can't figure it out. Great, great book and I'll be buying more. Highly recommend!

We absolutely love this product! We received it to review for our 5th/6th grade classroom and it is fantastic. It is brightly colored and large enough so that the students in the back of the room can easily see the various parts of the cell. It stores in a nice flat box and is not bulky to keep around. The parts of the cell are very thick so they are easy to grab off of the white board. It comes with an easy to use guide. Definitely recommend it.

The ladder piece was broken when I received it but had a lot going on and just kept it. It is quite boring for my 1 1/2 yr old and he enjoys playing w his $9 shape sorter much better. Thought with the animals and all it would be a hit but it seriously failed in that department.

the globe is beautiful, especially for being so relatively inexpensive. despite the fact that it's basically the same as a classroom globe, the antique colors and classic stand make this one a real treat to have. the writing is big enough to see country, capitol and city names, and boundaries are up to date. i get compliments on it all the time!

The product is light and has a VERY cheap feel to it. I guess I was expecting more from a $52 globe... I was expecting more "heft", and I guess I didn't read the description (it probably said "plastic" and "air" in there somewhere). I was focusing more on the fact that the description included the words "bronze" and "metallic". I fooled myself with wishful thinking.

That said, it is more than adequate for my needs: I bought it more for looks and decor than real function (my daughter has her own educational/classroom globe). The mountain ranges are slightly raised, which is a nice touch. I'll probably end up gluing it to the desk though, since it's so lightweight that it'll be easily knocked-over. Shouldn't the BASE at least be properly weighted, for stability? I mean, sheesh...

I guess if one wants a "real" globe, one must be prepared to shell out a few hundred bucks at least.

It works fine and answers all my "globe needing" questions, but I wish it were better quality. Not everything lines up and it just feels cheap. If I had it to do over again I would hold out for something a little bigger and better made rather than worrying about aesthetics... but it does look pretty.

I looked all over for a more manly globe to give as a gift to a male, this one was perfect! The colors are rich and beautiful. The base was my only disappointment.. It's a laminated wood that scratches easily and can't be engraved on. I ended up just adding a gold plate with the engravement. This globe looks awesome in his office and made a great gift.

Purchased for 2 yr old grand daughter who loves to sing and she seldom puts it down. With four grand daughters, I've purchased many learning toys, dolls, books you name it over the years. This is by far their # One favorite toy (ages range from 2 to 5 years) They all use it and the younger ones are anything but gentle with it, but it's still like new. We're still even using the original batteries!

Would highly recommend for little ones who love to sing/dance be prepared for plenty of "singing" and giggles!

I bought this microphone for my eight year old daughter four months ago for Christmas, and amazingly enough she's still playing with it almost every day. She feels like a little rockstar everytime she turns it on! Even more amazing is the fact that the thing still works! She does tell me all the time that she wishes it played the whole Victorious song and not just the first 15 seconds. It also occurs to me that if this were a good quality microphone I'd be able to hear her singing at the top of her lungs while I'm sitting in the livingroom down the hall...I thank goodness it's not

i got this for my daughters birthday. she LOVES victorious. she has been playing with it non stop since she has got it to the point where i want to throw it out the window. she likes singing along with the recorded song, but likes making her own songs up with the beat option. i guess its a fun toy, if youre a 6 year old girl. needless to say, its her favorite birthday present (she even makes the tori doll she got sing into it). shes dropped it quite a few times, her baby brother has drooled into it, it even fell into a puddle of water, and it is still hanging in there. money well spent.

We bought this Victorious microphone for my 2.5 year old daughter for Christmas. It was an item that we were having a hard time finding last minute and I was very excited to see it here on Amazon and available for Prime.

She loves it! It has many different options such as adding a beat and being able to sing along but the is one option that it does lack volume! I like that it is loud enough to be heard while playing and singing along, but it would be much nicer to have the option of reducing the volume. My 4.5 year old daughter has a similar Justin Bieber microphone and it is not nearly as loud, so we find that oe much easier on the ears!

Since this microphone has many different options of ways to mix up the fun, I think it would be enjoyed by a very wide range!

My Daughter loves to dance around with this microphone, which means it has been dropped about a dozen times alredy and it is still in like new condition. Sound quality is what you would expect out of a plastic toy, but it is definately easy for her to use, she loves it, and i love that it didn't break already.

I used to be a big fan of Melissa and Doug toys, but I have been very disappointed with some of those we got for Christmas. Especially this music se is absolutly useless. The thin paper on the tambourine tore 10 minutes after we took it out of the box, the egg shakers barely make any noise, it actually sound as if the inside beans were wet, and the cymbals don't work either. So the only thing that is quite nice about this set is the triangle and the red noise maker.

If you wand some good quality instruments for your child, go to west music store here on amazon and find all the instruments separately, the price you spend will be equal to this set and you will be much happier with the products {I got lolipop drum, egg shakers, triangle, cymbals with knobs and tambourine and it is uncomperable quality!!!!}

My daughter got this for her 1st birthday last year and these musical instruments are well made. I don't let my daughter play unattended with the triangle and it's metal stick in fear she might run with it, but other than that this is a nice set. My brother's son did break the Spanish shaker by hitting too hard . So, if you get this as a gift just watch your child, as you'd do with other toys and you shouldn't have any major problems.

I bought this for my almost 2 year old when he was just 18 months. He uses it nearly every day. I play CDs while we are playing with his toys and he likes to go over to the box and play along with different instruments. Sometimes we make a little marching band around the living room.

Like other reviewers, we had a problem with the tambourine almost immediately, but I taped the entire top with packing tape and it is fine. We have had no problem with the shakers even though he likes to knock them together and on other things. And they are plenty loud! The only thing we don't like is the triangle. The string comes off constantly and is hard for him to hold not heavy just a problem because of the string but he likes to bang it while I hold it. This is not high quality, but makes a nice first introduction to musical instruments.

My children are not the type to break their toys because they are too rough with them. That is why I was surprised when after only a week of owning the music instruments there are several instruments that are already broken and can no longer be used to make music. The tambourine (drum part)ripped right away, and the hollow wood instrument cracked and split in two. I would not recommend this product.

This is a cute story. It works well with the leap pad system.

My only problem with this is I am very tired of this Pooh Story. Disney seems to have put this out in every medium availabledvd, video, books on tap, leap pad, computer games etc. There are other Pooh stories that are just as cute if not cuter. I'm tired of this one and so are my children.

If you have a Leappad book, I'd look at other stories before getting this one. It is a bit light on the activities compared to some of the other books.

My children don't use the LeapFrog products as much as I thought they would, and in that sense, if you do not already own the LeapFrog unit, you may want to borrow a neighbors for a couple of weeks and see if your kids take to it. That having been said, the products are of high quality, and the content is very good. The "Pooh Gets Stuck" is fine, whether its any better than borrowing a Pooh book from the library and reading it with your child is another debate.

This book has a cute story about Pooh and Christopher Robin. My daughter loves to play with it and read it. I found a Leap Pad at our church rummage sale earlier this year and looked to Amazon to find some books to go with it. The book and cartridge were new in original packaging and work just fine. She has played with it many times over the past year.

These cups were given to my now 2-year-old son for his first birthday, though they were given to us late. He absolutely LOVES these cups. He plays with them in the shower, or wherever. He'll play with them outside. He loves filling them up with water and dumping them out. He love stacking them. I can't imagine not having these cups. They're one of those toys, like blocks, that help them learn the fundamentals and they'll never go out of style. We are getting another set because our new puppy found a couple and she chewed them rather thoroughly.

These cups were actually intelligently designed. On the bottom of each cup is an emboss of an animal and they go from smallest (1) to largest (12). Each cup's number holds that many ounces. The colors are also patterned, 4 colors, and they stay in sequence when the cups are put together.

I have these cups for my seven month old and he loves them! I'm not sure why babies find cups so entertaining, but they absolutely do! He loves to bang them together and chew on them! I love that these cups are educational too. They are all numbered in English, Spanish and French. Plus, they all have animals on them. All and all a great product!

My toddler (now 29 months old) has loved these pots and spoons since we got them for him (at about 12 months old). He's used them, on and off, all this time and it looks like he'll continue to use them in different capacities.

At first, when he was just barely walking, he liked to put balls and links (Boomerings and others) in the pots and pour them from one to another. He also liked to fill the pots and carry them around by the handle. Nesting the pots is something he doesn't seem to get tired of. In the last month, he's started using them for imaginative play, "eating" a spoon from the matching pot--and inviting you to join him!

Since these pots are identifiable colors (and match the spoons and Boomerings), it opens up a lot of learning play. "Can you bring me the RED pot?" "How many BLUE links are in the pot?" Et cetera. Speaking of learning, the pots are volumetic, so if you fill #2 twice, pouring it into #4 each time, it'll fill 4 completely. Measure Up Cups are his main bath toy, so the pots and spoons don't get much water play.

I'm excited to bring the pots to the beach this summer. I'm sure he'll love using the bottoms to stamp out the food designs in the sand.

Bottom line: These colorful, educational pots and spoons will grow with your toddler.

There is sense to divide LeapPad review and whole Creativity Bundle Set review. The set itself is OK, but as for me the stickers to be painted are useless. Markers are great, but I can see that it is difficult for children to paint big paper piece by markers markers make paper wet up to holes (pencils would work better).

The rest of the set is really good all in one LeapPad, gel case and game cartrige.

LeapPad2 itself doesn't need too much to say about I have found it as a great educational toy for children. My son is 4, and he loves to play with LeapPad even considering that English is not his native language. Anyway, he tries to repeat words from language which is new for him, and he definitely has learned new alphabeth already.

I like the ability to connect LeapPad to computer and check my child's statistics what goes good, and what needs more attention.

Included Crayola Art Adventure learning game is fun and educational it teaches painting, colors recognition, figures and more.

I've also ordered Jake and The Never Land Pirates game which trains math skills and I can see son's progress. And I definitely will order more games/staff for LeapPad2.

Gel case is durable and can be easily took off and on when there is need to change/charge batteries.

One of the things we love is that it is backwards-compatible with our older cartridges. Faster processor, twice as much RAM, and a lot sturdier than an iPad!

The kids also love taking pictures with the 2-megapixel camera.

I purchased this scope to be a 3rd scope to use for quick views of the Moon and planets instead of dragging out my more expensive telescopes. It is more than adequate for this task. It is not an Apo by no means but it is better constructed than cheaper scopes out there that are geared towards kids. There is some plastic on the scope but it does not give the scope a cheap feel. The glass is well coated and good quality. The views are sharp with little false color on objects like the Moon. I was able to check out the first quarter Moon and noted a slight hint of false color on the limb but it was not obtrusive at all. Saturn was sharp and I could easily make out the rings and one of its moons. Overall I am pleased with the scopes performance and it is worth the price. Vixen makes a great scope and this scope would make a great first scope for the beginner or additional scope for the serious Amateur Astronomer.
