My son got this truck at 11 months old. He loves all types of cars and red is his favorite color, so naturally this was a hit. He'll just sit on the floor, rolling it back and forth, while making truck sounds. He likes to spin the wheels, too. It's a small truck, so it fits well in a baby/toddler's hand, and the wheels are the only moving part. It seems very sturdy and safe. We've had it three months and he plays with it everyday.

Update: 4/28/13. I got the documentation from San Smart. Finally figure what those extra pin was about. It was a plus after figuring out. However, I still like the DIP version of the Arduino compare to this enhanced version.

Not functioning like the regular UNO R3. This is supposed to be an enhancement but no documentation. They do make the regular UNO R3 which work fine. I would not recommend this version.

I teach lower elementary and these are great for little hands. Also, since they are small they are easy to store and don't take up a lot of room.

If I had it to buy over I would have picked the next size up but these will do for now. They are great to pull out when they start picking from getting tired or bored. Thought this block was cute, but it has some faults! I would not have bought it had I been able to test it out personally. It's not very musical, only one nursery rhyme and some sounds. It would easily become boring. Also, to replace the batteries is somewhat difficult.

We ordered these for our son's elementary level Spanish lessons. They are of very nice quality and allow him to make words in Spanish on his little magnetic white board. The extra letters (double l and the accented n) are included and the accent marks. The letters are about 3 inches long and are easy for small hands to handle. I would highly recommend this product for children learning Spanish.

I knew the car would be small, but it's quite a bit smaller than I expected at about 2 inches wide by 2.5 inches long. But it is easily the most attractive car we've got our boys in some time and it seems to be well made. The chassis is bamboo (so probably not a good idea to get it wet) under a clear plastic shell which makes for a clean, lightweight design. I am torn between 4 and 5 stars since it really is a good product, but I do wish the correct size had been indicated. But our boys do love it, and we'll be buying more.

We own many Leap Frog products, and this one is not my favorite. First, it is very easy for the child to adjust the volume on this toy. There are two settings: low (incredibly loud) and high (cover your ears). If you purchase this toy for your child, make sure that they play with it outside or at the other end of the house. Let's just say that if you give this as a gift, the child's parents will not be happy with you!

The bus plays "The Wheels on the Bus" song as expected, and my daughter likes to honk the horn. There are raised alphabet letters on the sides, that when pressed, will say the letter names or sounds. There is one game that does not work well on our bus, "Find the Letter". The bus will say "Find the letter G". The problem is that the bus' volume is so loud that you can't tell if it wants you to find a G,Z,B,D,C,E,P,or T. This has been very frustrating for my toddler! She's good with letter recognition, but can't find the right letter because she can't understand which one it wants. I can't understand it either.

Our 10 month old enjoys this toy with the sound off. But when I turn the sound on, she cries. It scares her!

Parents, keep looking. There are better Leap Frog choices out there.

I bought this for my son a few years ago because he loved buses, but I was soon sorry I did. It was very loud and annoying, and he stopped playing with it after a short while. The characters tell annoying, stupid jokes over and over, and worst thing was that it kept saying "Push one of my friends"a GREAT thing to tell a kid to do. Of course they meant one of the "friends" on the little bus, but I'm not sure if my son realized that! I tried to contact the company to complain about that one, but they never responded.

Our 14 month daughter loves this talking toy. She has recently been pointing at letters around her (on signs, t-shirts, books) and saying them. We wondered how she had learned to recognize and say so many letters of the alphabet, then realized it's from pressing the letters on this talking musical bus. She also enjoys the "wheels on the bus go round and round" song it plays, rolling her hands to the song. It's been dropped many times and shows no damage.

We bought this toy for our 10 month old because he loved the song, "Wheels on the bus". He loves it! He is now 18 months and still plays with it. At the beginning he just played with the buttons that made the song come on and the animals. As soon as the song came on he would smile and dance! As he got older he became more interested in the alphabet buttons. Now he imitates the sounds of the alphabet and some of the animals. He also pushes it around with his other cars. I am online buying one for my niece for Christmas. This toy has brought many smiles to my husband and I as we watch our son get so excited over it. Only drawback it is just the first verse of the song.

I thought this would make the best Cmas gift for some of the many kids in our family. I think this is a great learning toy, but you gotta have a kid that's "into" those kind of toys, and mine seems not to be. :( Our 6 yr old daughter has hardly touched hers since she got it. She immediately recognized Word Girl, & LOVED that part, but has shown no interest at all in actually creating words with this toy. (maybe this just isn't for her...)

Hopefully some of the other kids we gave this toy to are using theirs more than our daughter!

Overall I think it's well built, & a great learning tool.

I would recommend this product to others, but ONLY If they have kids that are interested in this kind of educational toy!

Me and my toddler like this toy on the walk, she can looked this in the stroller when we are getting to our destination, she cannot change rings on the toy yet but it is very good because books often fall down from the stroller (the table is small for them) and this toy is very good in this case. She likes to name letters and I put the rings that there will be two words, for 19 months old it is enough, but I am sure in future when she can actually read, we will will use it more and change rings for more words. It is very good to take somewhere, it is light and easy to carry.

Delivery was prompt as always with things shipped via Amazon.

LED assortment matches what was described and I've already used a couple of them and had zero problems. One thing to note is that when you open the kit the inside top of the lid has a convenient description of the type of LED in each little compartment, however the top row of descriptions should be swapped with the bottom row. Minor since for these it's obvious, but if this were a kit of transistor's, well it could easily lead to a smoke check. Also, the kit doesn't come with any data sheet on the components, nor does the ELENCO main web site have one, which for LED's might not be that big a deal but prevents me from giving a full 5 stars.

I actually bought these at a thrift store for my son who will be 6 in January. We homeschool and I am constantly looking for supplemental material. We use phonics pathways and he is at the perfect place to begin reading !! These cards are so PERFECT!! And I was so excited to find them, because I was beginning to run out of creative ideas to keep it fun! He LOVES Them! He has been reading the beginning reader BOB books for a while so this is the perfect next step to introduce sight words as he can decode words rather well!!

I love how this tambourine looks, and love Plan Toys in general. It's very well made and durable and super sweet. My main complaints are that it's hard to get it to make a nice sound. You have to hold the handle in just the right spot. My 10 month old, who loves his xylophone and maracas has shown zero interest in this so far. Hopefully he will once he's a bit bigger.

I fell in love with this tambourine the moment I held its smooth, wooden handle. Unlike the other toy tambourines I've tried out, the sound this instrument makes is really pleasant. It's light enough that my 18 month old can play it. I think our family will be enjoying this for years to come!

My son loves percussion, he plays on drums, loves his eggs that have rice in them but this one isnʻt his favorite. Adults can use it pretty proficiently but itʻs kind of soft and the sound it makes is a little dull. I wish it was more tinny and louder. Having said that, I give it three stars because it feels "safe" there are no parts that could get into his mouth and choke him and the sides are smooth.

Now in all fairness we did buy this toy a little 'early' by standards of musical toys. Our one year old loves musical toys though and figures most of them out and plays with them a lot. She thought it was great for a few minutes, then has barely touched it since. The noise is muddled and takes a firm shake to create. It's cute and I like that any of the metal parts are hidden, and seems very durable and well made all around too. I like it, but she doesn't so much. Maybe as she gets older.
