We purchased game for our 3 1/2 year old granddaughter for Christmas along with the Vtech VReader. This game is fun, educational and interactive. Bright vivid display holds roaming attention spans. The level of difficutly increases after each level is mastered. Definitely recommended.

I've looked high and low for a handheld electronic game to help the granddaughter get a little more interested in her school work, but until I found the iQuest, it seemed that nothing would meet her age group needs or be able to compete with the games. Honestly, I am not sure how much she is still using this (six months later), but she raved about it in the beginning. I loved it when I took it for a "test drive" when we loaded the batteries. Had trouble putting in down! I definitely recommend the iQuest for anyone with kids grades 3-8 (even 2nd grade, actually). The programs are challenging, but not frustrating, and the "atta boys" when questions are answered correctly are not overkill (you know how some of them are almost condescending as far as older kids are concerned? Not a problem here!). The unit seemed very sturdy, but not "chunky" or unweildy. Very easy to use, and can be programmed with the child's name to address them directly.

I am a collector of scale cubes and this is without a doubt already my favorite. 1cm Gold Polished Scale cube is incredible, beautifully designed. This gold reflection really brings out the best in whatever you take a picture of. On a scale of 1-10 this cube rates a 10. The finish is stunning, the letters are in the right places. It's a Home Run!

If one does technical documentation through photography-these are a must have. In fact, I recommend at least three colors to accommodate the range of materials one is photographing. The presence of a scale cube in your photo enhances the usability and elevates the work from mere "snapshot" to professional illustration. The scale cube eliminates the need for an unsightly ruler which may distract from the beauty of the object being illustrated.

The cubes themselves are a work of precision art that all techno-types would appreciate. Even if you don't know what camera matching "accessory" to get for the photo-geek in your life, you can give this one and have no fears of disappointment.

The gold cube is very aesthetic in its own right but, don't fail to look at the rest of the line including the tungsten and black brushed non-reflective versions. The only improvement I could suggest is a custom form-fitted case for three so I can comfortably keep in my camera bag knowing I can find them easily when I need them in the field for my macro shots.

Before the cube was available, many photographers used a coin for scale but internationally, many different coins are used. A scale cube takes away any ambiguity and makes the photo less "busy", allowing the eye to focus on the object of interest. For those who seek that extra "tactile thrill", there is nothing like holding one of these in your hand. The precision craftsmanship is apparent through one's finger tips as well.

I guess you can tell I am a grateful fan-but these are such an improvement over the old way of doing things and I really do enjoy having included in my camera gear.

I did this with my seven year old who is very curious about the way things work. It had very clear instructions and was very informative. It comes with everything needed so I didn't have to purchase any additional supplies. It does take awhile to complete but gives the option of completing one section first and then the rest later. This globe is cool. My 9 year old daughter has it in her room, and loves to look at the different star constellations at night. During the day, the globe features are useful when she wants to be able to see different parts of world. After all, that is a globe's purpose, right? :-)

My one minor thing is that you don't want to leave the switch "on" during the day. It'll drain the battery very quickly. Other than that, fun product!

I was expecting more for this product, everything is fine except that it doesn't assemble very well, so the globe easily is not very stable. It has little cities on map. My son really enjoys watching this globe.

This toy is smaller than we anticipated. It is really adorable, and we have enjoyed playing with it, but think that the tiny pieces will not be the greatest yet for our grandchildren. The 7 year old will probably do fine with it, but the 4 year old will not be able to play with these little connectors. The little pieces will be easily lost, so will keep it back as a special toy with supervision.

I am so disappointed with this toy. I have never written a review this harsh, but this toy is basically a cheap piece of junky plastic. It doesn't work well. You have to practically put the ball section into your mouth for the voice amplification to work, and even then it functions very poorly. Bystanders might notice a slight voice amplification, but the user can't tell it at all except for some static sounds. Of course, my 3-year-old granddaughter wants to be able to hear her own voice being amplified when she sings into it. There is a button to push to hear Dora sing, and that works fine, but we bought this for the microphone part. I know the other reviews here on Amazon are 5 stars, which is why I purchased this toy, but I now notice that none of the previous reviews are Verified Amazon Purchases. That's all I have to say about that. My advice...don't waste your money on this.

My 3 year old daughter got this for her birthday. She loves to sing and dance so we thought a microphone would be a great gift... and it was. Works great and seems durable. Very cute toy that comes with 4 Dora tunes. My daughter loves it.

As many of the other reviews have stated the microphone part of it is not the best quality. It does produce a lot of static and your mouth has to be right over the top of it to hear yourself. Dora's voice and the music is also really loud. A volume control would have been nice. The thing is the kids don't care about any of these complaints. Dora's songs and music are great. My childen sing and dance to the Dora songs while holding the microphone. I would recomend this product to Dora lovers.

My 5 year old daughter is a reluctant reader. LOVES her books, but gets frustrated because wants to know how to read without the learning process. I try to find fun and different things to do with her so she doesn't get bored. She got this from my mother as a gift and she really liked it. She likes opening the drawers and pulling out the cards which have all different levels.(beginning consonant sounds, ending sounds and vowel sounds) The cards have Crepe Rubber Letters to put on the cards. She lays them all out on her bedroom floor and really tries to sound out the words. So if she's learning and having fun....I LOVE IT.

Very high quality, rugged toy. Love the details like the spring-loaded winch on the front bumper, gas can strapped to the rear bumper, rubber wheels, and roll bar that doubles as a handle. Our 2 1/2 YO is probably a little young for it but he takes it for an occasional spin -enough to scrape up the laminated wood up where it's come in contact with concrete.

Truthfully, though, he likes his plastic school bus that plays songs better. I'm thinking he may like this more when he's older. Would probably be more fun for him in conjunction with other PlanToys, figures.
