My son is 20 months and has been fascinated with "buckles" since he turned a year. He loves to buckle car seats, high chairs and anything else he can find! Thankfully, he doesn't know how to unbuckle yet! I decided to search Amazon for a "buckle toy" as Amazon has everything!! Well, this "Buster" the buckle toy came up. While it is a little pricey, my son loves it! I first introduced it during his 18 month check-up at the pediatrician. The doctor asked me what this toy was and said "I need to buy 10 for the office." He was amazed at how engaged my son was with the toy and it has been a great "life-saver" toy ever since. We bring it in the car, in restaurants or other places I'd like to keep my son busy and entertained quietly. Love this toy!

I bought this item as a tool to teach my son his ABCs. He is just a little over 3 years old and absolutely loves these cookies! Within two weeks he was able to recognize his lower case letters and recite the ABCs. He loves that they are shaped like cookies and he pretend eats them throughout our learning time. This item was worth every penny because my son loves to play with them and learn. It was worth every penny!

Santa brought this for my 3 year old. My son likes all of the activities, and enjoys the game that involves the number spinner most. :) The cookies and cards are fun and colorful. My only critique is that I wish there were a few more spelling games. I can probably make these myself, but they won't be as cute as the cards and pictures that come with the game. If I were to buy it again, I would probably do so when my son is a little younger and still learning letter identification, so that he could get more use out of those activities.

This abacus is truly great. When I first got it I was a little disappointed that it was all plastic and seemed kind of cheapy. But it works great and I've grown to really love it. I'm homeschooling my daughter and it's been so valuable in teaching her about numbers, adding, subtracting and place values. She thinks it's fun and likes to use it. I like the compact yet functional size of this abacus. It doesn't have a stand so it just lies flat on the table, but that doens't seem to be a problem. We also use it to make pictures, which is not only fun, but also helps my daughter better understand patterns. Definitely happy with this product.

I like it, it is very durable, and numbers goes up and down :) Also I like that it is not big, and easy to take anywhere even can be places at a stroller table. My baby (19months) likes it and we just started to count together. I use it not very often right now, but it has very big potential,next step after she will master counting till 100 (she now only good till 20 that's why we are not very often use the product right now) we will do addition and due to numbers from 10 to 1 it is very easy to minus on the Abacus. I think it is much better then other similar products.

My loving girlfriend just got me this for Christmas. First off I love it. It's well made, durable and fun to put together for the most part. The instructions are very helpful until one key part. It dosn't tell or show you how to attach the sling to the strings. It just says "tie a string to each end" Either I'm mentality retarded or the company over looked this. I'm a 25 year old and was an engineer in the military and for the life of me can't do it. Also the string supplied untangles very easily meaning you have to cut off a new bit of string every couple of times you try and fail to attach the sling. A suggestion on which knot to use and a step by step demonstration of this process would of been nice.

Still buy it, it's brilliant but do what I had too. Use your own (better) string and cut up an old sock as a sling. Its much more easier.

The actual process of putting it together isn't that complicated or difficult, but it takes a LONG time to get everything cut out and trimmed (about 2 hours). However, it's entirely worth it! It's so much fun! It takes a little practice getting it cocked (which the instructions tell you will happen), but once you get the hand of it, it works great! Could use a little more detail on tying the sling, that took some trial and error too, but hey, that's science!

My 11 year old son is a science/build it kind of kid. He put it together on his own (although I think we'll go back and wood glue it in some spots. He and his older brother have launched stuff all over the house during this yucky spring weather. It needs to be weighted down depending on how heavy your launching object is. It's not that big so the objects are smaller. But lots of fun.

My son loves these blocks, and I wish I had these blocks growing up. They are top quality, but two of the blocks have a small red knob inserted into the top. My dog and my son worked together to remove the knob on one of the blocks, and I later found it in my son's diaper.

I love Haba toys, but although this set is rated for 1-4 year olds, we had to put some of the pieces away as they are just too small for my grandson who loves to put EVERYTHING in his mouth. I'd given them to him for his first birthday, and although he really likes them, some of the blocks are just too small for a one year old. I am going to buy the Fantasy Jigsaw blocks to give him more to play with though and just put away the little parts till he can handle them.

Haba makes really nice, well made toys.

Gorgeous blocks which look great even after our puppy got ahold of them. However, some of the blocks (the half rounds and the dome shaped ones) are too small for my 17 month old. She put them right in her mouth and the entire block fit right in there (and she is petite!). Also for breastfeeding moms, the dome shaped ones look awfully like breasts so the little ones are really drawn to putting them in their mouths (no kidding). Still, we just put away the domes and the half rounds and still are left with a great assortment of gorgeously colored durable SAFE blocks from a reliable European manufacturer. The best assortment we've seen including beautiful graphics, holographic details, some prismlike blocks, columns, blocks with holes with columns, a block with a bell, an arch and two shaped like mini staircases. Even the 11 year old is helping out with design for the toddler! Just put away the smaller blocks until your child is old enough not to put them in his/her mouth.

My son loves the blocks. The look like no other blocks and he gets a kick out of the block with the bell inside and the clear plastic blocks that look like ice cubes. To my horror, he can put a few of the smaller ones entirely into his mouth so I took them away so he can play with when he's older. Watch out for this if you buy these wonderful blocks.

I was a little disapponinted when I received this item. In the description it didnn't say if it was used or not. It doesn't matter to me if it's used as long as it's still in good working condition. In the picture it showed the product in the original box and the price was great. When I received it, it was not in a box, it was wraped in 2 layers on plastic (no bubble wrap or anything). It looks nice enough, but kind of cheaply made, and I didn't see any scratches or anything. Some of the keys you have to hit more than once for the sound to come out. However, I bought this for my 3 year old granddaughter who just wants to make noise with it, so I decided to keep it anyway.

These are a great idea and we were super excited to get them. The fittings are way too tight on the blocks and are even difficult for an adult to put together and take apart to build different words. My kids quickly became frustrated with this aspect and eventually they went into the closet to collect dust. They would have been PERFECT had they went together more easily like legos. We use our traditional wooden letter blocks for word building more than we ever use these. You just have to invest in a couple of sets of those whereas these come with enough duplicate letters to allow word building.

This arrived and the marker isn't a very good one, which is alright. What is concerning to me is that the writing on the rods seems like it will rub away quickly. There are parts of the letters that are already not there, so that's not a good sign for the longevity of this product.

I was really pleasantly surprised by the educational content, and all the fun it provides, it is packed with a bunch of interactive little games that keep even a 2 year old interested. My 2 & 4 year olds both love this book. My four year old was jealous that he didn't have THIS book for HIS leap pad (he has bigger leap pad). This book teaches vocabulary both English and Spanish, problem solving, cooperation, and shapes and colors as well. My only wish is that they had more books to buy.

My almost three year old daughter received the My First Leap Pad for Christmas. "Santa" also brought the Dora game. She loves it! Besides being an avid fan of the show on TV, she has played this game A LOT! It's great for road trips as her older brothers punch away at their Game Boys. She feels very grown up. The pages are now easy for her to navigate. She initially was too impatient to listen to the directions and would immediately being to press buttons. This has gotten better! Some of the pages are bent but with all the use she's getting out of the book it's worth it.

I just got the Dora book for it and he instantly figured out that you have to put the cartridge in before you can play it. My 3yr old girls LOVE this product! This is something they actually play together! And that doesn't happen unless they are being mischievous. Even my son who is 6 also plays the games and likes it. It has the real voices from the show and all the familiar characters they know. It teaches simple spanish words that my girls love repeating through out their busy day. All five of our kids, ranging from age 5-10, took turns looking through these, and it turned into hours of good fun for them. I only wish that this set had MORE than three different viewers, and I would pay more for a bigger, more substantial set. Also would have been great if the company would have included more literature about each "animal" represented.

So I wanted to buy my son a toy like this but everywhere I looked it was just to expensive and this seemed to be the most reasonable. I was sooo wrong. As soon as I got this product in the mail it was just to tiny. I mean it was small. I was so disappointed that I got a toy like this for my son. I was thinking I was going to get a big toy that stands on the floor that is at least bigger than my 12 month old. I was so wrong this was half the size of my 12 month old. I would have returned it but it was just too much of a hassle. For the price that they are selling this for it is not worth buying. I would settle for the ones you get at Target or at Toys R' Us or somewhere else for that matter. He barely even plays with this thing cause he just carries it around tossing it around cause that's how small it is. I'm just plainly dissapointed by this product.

Our family homeschools so we wanted to do a Science study on Navigation. We bought this as one of the tools to teach with. The kit has some nice things in it: compass, chalk, whistle, etc. But the little book didn't move in any specific order. Some activites seemed like they should come first but were at the back. It was cute and we did have fun doing some of the activities though.

I wanted to write a review about this product because I searched amazon to find a good microscope kit and it was very difficult since many didn't have reviews.This is a great product and worth its price, except for the shipping cost! (about 10$ :/ ) Comes with plastic tweezers, a very very informative book (explains how to use a microscope, how to make slides and much much more!), a needle, glass slip covers, glass slides, a box to keep your slides, mediums for mounting, and 3 pipettes. Everything is of good quality.
