Review of We Sell Mats Anti-Fatigue 6 Piece Interlocking EVA Foam Flooring Set
We wanted a soft place for our baby to hang out while she was not so steady sitting up. It is that, and the colors are bright without being obnoxious, so I'm happy to have it in the living room. The trim, though is problematic and I encourage the manufacturer to figure something else out. Our baby liked to pull it off and then chew on it. It comes apart pretty easily if gnawed on, so this poses a choking hazard. We removed the trim entirely, but then the "puzzle piece" that sticks out is itself tempting to chew on. As in all things, close supervision is needed, but I feel like this is a definite design flaw. Also, the texture of the mats makes them difficult to wipe clean. Dust and particles get caught in the little divets.

These mats are great! My 7 month old son is allergic to our carpet and breaks out in a huge rash whenever he touches it! We tried putting blankets down but he always rolls off them and somehow gets on the carpet again. He also spits up a lot so we end up washing his play blankets often. I ordered two sets of these mats so I now have a 6x8 padded and easy to clean area for him to play on. They link together tightly and seem sturdy enough for baby play. I like these because they dont have the cutout shapes/letters like other mats that can be a choking hazard. They were also half the price of similar products which was a plus! I use this flooring for the indoor play area for my Doggie Daycare. This is the 3rd purchase I have made. The rubber material is really hardwearing, easy to clean and a great insulation. I bought this for my 26-month-old grandson. He loves it and plays with it a lot. One of the best things about it is the magnetic connector for the wagon to be attached to the tractor. Discount World Prehistoric Illustrated, 38x54
I have 2 dinosaur crazy boys (4 & 6y) and this is perfect on a wall in their playroom. It has little icons for different "aspects" of a creature (herbivore, carnivore, omnivore and also type of creature bird, mammal, reptile, dinosaur etc). The evolution chart goes all the way from Precambrian to modern human, and my kids now can tell me more about australopithicus and neanderthals that I know :) I put it up on the wall close to the floor and put a rug and pillows by it, and boys spend a lot of time trying to find dinosaurs and other creatures and figuring out when they existed and what they ate and they make up games with it.
I was actually trying to find a map with the continents they way they are today, and different places where we have found the fossils, but this one actually has the land mass as it was in some random period of time in earth's history which I wish was different but the kids love it, and are learning something from it, and its an interesting colorful addition to the playroom, so no complaints. And we did get to talk about why the land in the map looks different from the map in their atlas, so maybe its not so bad after all :)

The stones are somewhat small and they are glued into the box. On the one hand that makes them stay in place and the specimens won't get lost but I had hoped to put them under a microscope for more detailed study. Small booklet that comes with it explains some of the minerals but the selection is not blinky blink enough to gain much attention from my 5 year old. I used these bells with my baby music class, and they sounded great and looked fine for a while. But they didn't stand the test of time, and the fabric began to shred. I had to throw them away and wouldn't get them again. If you don't use them too much or don't mind threads of the fabric coming off, this probably won't be a problem, but they didn't really work for me.
I use these as puppy potty training bells much more economical than what you find in the pet section, and its not toy-looking to prevent the puppy to want to play with it.

When I purchased these bells, I expected the bells to be smaller than they were and for them to look cheap, but I was pleasantly surpised! They're actually very well made. I got them to use in my homeschool music class with my 4 yr. old. I got these to hang on the back door and taught my dog to ring them when he needed to go out. Works like a charm, and much cheaper than the ones labeled for dogs. Just for kicks, I put them on my dog, and he hated them. So I can't recommend that. My daughter got one for her birthday and so I had to test this thing out lol. It has so many uses so it will definitely pay for itself in the long run. I watch kids a lot and let's face it technology has become part of our lil one's lives. I have tons of movies on my phone so this works well with kids holding it cause they drop things. It is soft and plush yet firm enough to sit in pretty much any position on your lap. I know some people complain about the plastic screen but if you are watching a movie your screen isn't hard to see. Now playing a game it's awkward to hold. This woogie comes with an app you can download that has a face that matches your woogie. Your toddler might like the face cause you can poke it shake it tickle it and the woogie laughs and says things. You can also take woogie on adventures in the app so the older kids can play too might have to take the phone out to play some games but all in all good product. I have a galaxy s4 and it fits great. Only one thing I wish this product has was a spot to put headphones. Adorable, but the app that is to be used in conjunction with this product is very glitchy. Not a lot for kids to do on the app anyways. The clear plastic that covers the screen is great for protection but a bit big and interferes with the functionality of the touchscreen. Fee is a great way to keep young children entertained and protect your IPhone 5! My granddaughter is a year old and dinner in a restaurant sometimes goes a little long for her. When she has reached her limit of sitting quietly, we bring out Fee. I run a preschool and daycare program and I purchased this toy to augment the existing peg boards and pegs that we currently have. I think the concept is great however the materials are lacking especially for the price. The base board is thick enough to support the pegs and building however the platform pieces are very thin. My kids were super excited to play with the set but we've already had several bouts of tears because unless they keep the pegs in alignment with the lower level pegs, the structure collapses. Maybe this is a great way to teach building structure concepts for older children, but for preschool aged children, it has become an exercise in frustration. Also, the pegs are not compatible with other pegs found at teacher supply stores so the sets cannot be mixed together. Since this product just arrived I have no comment on the durability of the platform pieces but honestly, I am not that optimistic.
My 9 year old just informed me that if the platform pieces were thicker, the pegs wouldn't connect with each other. For this price, why not make the pegs slightly longer and the platforms thicker? Oh well, I think it is important to note these are not compatible with other peg sets purchased elsewhere, only with Lauri brand peg sets.
For my needs, If I had realized the differences I would not have made this purchase.

I had originally purchased this set for my 5 year old daughter. I'm not only a homeschooling mother of eight but I also have dual degree in elementary and special ed. I thought this would be ideal for my 5 year old and kicked myself for not finding this years ago for my older kids. Instead, when the box came, it was my 13 yr old who snuck this away to play with and only when his little sister happened to walk by and see it and she shrieked, "That's MY toy!" did he give it up.My husband has also been caught playing with this too. It is alot of fun and very creative. Our family has spent hours playing with this.
The quality of the pegs are excellent and their large size fit nicely into any hand size. The large foam pegboard that makes the base is thick and sturdy. The pegboards that make the building platforms are very thin but sturdy during regular use.
Overall, we are thrilled with this new "electronically free" toy :)

The only real problem with this item is poor documentation (User's Manual falls short). A small spanner wrench was supplied, but have no idea where it might be used. Having said that , the microscope yields clear images of electronic circuit boards and components. The LED light source does a nice job and is easy to adjust the illumination angle. The lens system is very easy to change from one power to another. At 30X and 40X it is a bit tricky getting left and right binocular alignment for proper depth of field. Once I discovered the ability to slide the lens assembly left or right finding a good viewing position, then all was well!
So overall the microscope is very nice, but there is room for improving the user's manual.The Anscope purchased have been exactly what I needed and is a awesome product that will record to other that are in to mirco electronic repair or any kind mirco work.

I'm always looking for compact toys and such that can be used during a road trip. We're not big fans of electronic toys that get kids in a mindset of "the only thing I want to do is use a computer or video game." We want our kids to explore the world around them, enjoy learning, and develop skills that are applicable beyond computers. So, we don't just give them a gameboy type toy for the car rides. Unfortunately, this will be our last year collecting Take-n-Play for our older grandson, so we were so pleased to see Duck finally arrive in time to include him! He's been around forever in the Railway Series books, even though he hadn't appeared in the TV series for about 5 years until he returned this year. He's the cheerful but no-nonsense engine with "GWR" (standing for Great Western Railway") on his sides (Take-n-Play's version also has a #8), and he doesn't take any lip from anybody! His real name is actually "Montague", but is called "Duck" because he has a waddling gait. Interestingly, when Reverend W. Awdry (who authored The Railway Series of books that inspired the TV series) received his model of Montague for his railway, the wheels were uneven, which caused him to appear to waddle his children nicknamed him "Duck", and that's what he's been called ever since!
We spent a bit more ($6.74 on Amazon) than Fisher-Price's $6 MSRP for Duck, but since the shipping was free and we saved ourselves a trip to the store, we went ahead and added him to our "cart". We would've enjoyed continuing the collection for our younger grandson, but we've seen too many reductions in the general quality of the line over the past year, which is a shame. It was a "good ride" while it lasted!

Best LeapFrog Explorer Learning Game Pixar Pals (works with LeapPad Deals
I don't know why everyone is saying the mazes in this game are hard to understand/do! My son is 3 1/2 and not only does he love the game but he had no problem figuring out how to unlock the keys to open the doors to the games. When he first played it I had to show him the concept of the game (on Nemo, the first of three he decided to play) and once I showed it to him he had no problem (and was able to to the others without help). Also, the instructions narrated before and during each game are very clear and explanatory. It shows where the keys are and tells you step by step how to use the functions of the game. I know some have said it was hard and confusing to figure out the mazes and their kids did not know what to do or the point of the game, but I did not find that to be true at all and neither did/does my son. All in all I can say he loves the game and has a lot of fun with it!

If you look into it, you will see that I am not the only person who has experienced this problem. For all three games, there are two puzzles that you can build. You collect the puzzle pieces by completing the games in each one of the three games. Well, when you get to Wall-e, you are only able to collect 16 out of 18 puzzle pieces. After writing to the company and reading other peoples reviews who also wrote the company. We get nothing but a generic response back. If it were just me, I would not care as much. But this is upsetting my 3 year old who doesn't understand why he can't complete the last puzzle. I scoured retail stores looking for just the right "welcome back to school" postcard. I finally had an epiphany to look on Amazon. I chose Eureka Suzy after looking at all postcards designed for school use and loved this selection. The first day of school several of my students said, "I got the picture of you." Loved it!!
