Review of Bobbie & Friends Sensory Bobbie
My 18 month old loves this. It's been a helpful tool for her to learn parts of the body -she'll squeeze his ear, and then, after Bobbie says "ear" will touch her own ear. The only thing that drives me crazy about the toy is that if you stop playing with him, he says "I'm bored!" after a few minutes, which I find to be pretty annoying!

Review of Leapfrog LeapPad Replacement Pen Metallic Silver
I bought this pen to replace the original leappad pen who's wire cracked. Install was simple and quick. Leappad works great with new pen. Shipping was more than the price of the pen.Fixed a leap pad that was given to us. Easy to replace. Kids love it.

Best Velleman Flashing LEDs : MK102 Deals
It's just the right level of complexity, but for a starter solder kit, it's too tiny. The distances between connectors are as little as 1mm, leaving absolutely no room for error which is fine for someone experienced with soldering, but not so much for the novice. The fact that no extra parts are provided compounds the problem. If the same kit was scaled up in size, with greater distances between the connectors, it would have been much more novice-friendly.
My son and I worked on this, plugged in a fresh battery, and no lights are blinking. We have no idea why. We have no idea how to figure it out. Hopefully, this failure will not discourage him from future projects. This product was used to teach young kids ages 8-13 the basics of soldering and providing a basic understanding of electronics. Some of these kids had already passed their ham radio exam and hold a Technician Class Amateur Radio license. To have a simple project that works when finished helped aid in the overall success.

Hog Wild Joltin' Joe Bender Reviews
Funny I purchased the jolting benders because my husband was in the website and fell inlove with these other acrobats. When I, however, saw these in the baseball themes, I knew I had to purchase them for him. We are Yankee Fans and guess what? When these arrived, my husband fell inlove with them. He bends them every which way and loves how the ball and bat is magnetic enough to stay on! Excellent choice for people inlove with little creative gadgets!

Cheap For The Birds - IdentiFlyers Raptors #2 HAWKS
The variety of raptors on the card is amazing and the sounds are fun to listen to. You don't realize all the kind of raptors out there and then to pair them up with their unique sounds is awesome. I like these cards, they work really well.We use these in our idetiflyer alarm clock... A different bird sound chirps each hour and we change cards each week or so to keep the ambiance... we have a parrot and parakeet and they always stand to attention when they hear the different birds...

Discount Tempo's Rocking Guitar
A very entertaining and keep your child busy toy. Imagination user too! Different settings give a variety of play time
There are also three different volumes, a big hit with mom!
If your kids watch the big kids play rock band or real guitars, then it would be a good bet they would love this toy! I would buy it again!

Honestly, we picked this toy up at a garage sale, but couldn't be happier. We are the second owners and everything works great! We also own the Chicco DJ Guitar (which we purchased new). The Baby Genius Tempo's Rockin Guitar seems to have a load more fun value. The strings are durable, and play parts of the music when strummed. My son loves to hold his guitar just like the "real thing" giving us our own rock n' roll shows in the living room! The music on this one also seems to be more like an electric guitar than the Chicco model. There are also three different volumes, a big hit with mom!

Watch-A-Bug Reviews
My 3 year old loves this watch because it leaves his hands free to catch additional insects/bugs; and I love this watch because it tightly clicks shut! So many other bug "boxes" and containers just have lids that are placed on top but don't lock into place which means 99% of the time the little critters are going to end up in places you don't want them! (such as running around your house or in your car while you are driving and your child is strapped in his carseat so obviously can't re-catch them). I have bought about a dozen or so other bug "boxes" or "houses or "containers" and this is by far the best one. I only wish I had found it before wasting all my money on all those others.
I think it's a great idea-kinda gross to think they're on their arm, but there's plenty of sturdy plastic between wrist & bug!
Cool and cheap toy. I do feel bad for the bugs...but she truly loves them!!

I ordered this for our 4.5yo son for Christmas, to use next Spring. I broke down & gave it to him when it came today & he LOVES it! Now our 5.5yo son wants one too, & he's not even the tree hugger! Best Deals for Watch-A-Bug
I bought these for a couple of 4 year old boys who love to collect all things creepy crawly. Only thing is that the poor little insects often receive a bit too much loving while being clamped in their small, moist hands. This frequently turns out to be an unfortunate end for the bugs and results in heartbroken little guys who were trying to be gentle with their new buggy friends. The wrist habitat offers the insect a semi-safe spot to be viewed and "befriended" by little folk. It also gives an opportunity for parents to instill some early compassion in their children; such as, "Honey, I think that Calvin the Cricket has ridden around long enough now and would probably like to go home to see his family. Maybe another bug can take a turn for a bit." After one or two of these suggestions, I've noticed that the kids become very conscientious about returning their bugs to the spot where they were originally found. So, all in all, a fun accessory to observe bugs; but also an opportunity for the little ones to think things through and learn about other living creatures around them.Honest reviews on Watch-A-Bug
I just bought this for my 5 year old daughter. She loves rolly-polly's and is always carrying them around. Now she can stop handing them to me and just put them in her watch.Cool and cheap toy. I do feel bad for the bugs...but she truly loves them!!

Reviews of Math Whiz
I have been an educator for 45 years. I ordered the Math Whiz many years ago for my students. Young learners typically need drill and repetition in order to master skills. The Math Whiz provides that practice while motivating students to "beat" their last score. The Math Whiz was so motivating and successful with my students that I purchased it over the years for all my grandchildren.

I picked up a pair of these because I was traveling to a shamanism workshop out of state. I needed to bring rhythm instruments that wouldn't take up much room in my suitcase. These are small enough to pack easily, and they suited my needs just fine. The rattles seem well made and produce a nice sound. The handles are perfect for smaller hands.

FINGER CASTANET (Colors May Vary) Reviews
Really great castanet, makes a nice loud clicking sound. Customer service solved issues easily It looked like from the picture you'd get 4 but we only got 2. They've since changed the listing to clear up the confusion. Nice people to work with and a good quality product made in Israel.

LeapFrog Leapster® Educational Video: The Letter Factory Gaming Reviews
I bought this after reading the reviews a little curious if my 3 year old would love it or not care. Well she loves it more than I would have thought possible for a video/game. I was very impressed that within a week she had her letters learned extremely well. She loves to sing the whole song to me and show me how well she knows the sounds of the whole alphabet. The thing that works so well with this product is that instead of teaching a is for apple and so forth they teach the sounds the letters make, and in a way the kids LOVE. Like with a the a is scared and says AAAH, R is an R race car that say the r sound, and with f the f's are learning to fly but have to say fffff to get off the ground. They connect actions with the sounds. It's brilliant and it works. The songs are cute, and its never boring that they watch and learn/play for a long time. They also reinforce by games after every 4 letters. This helps them to check if they are really learning.
I worried about someone's review that sad it would go through batteries like crazy. Totally not true. My kids play the letter factory and other games constantly on the thing and it usually lasts a least 2 weeks. Just put good batteries in it and its amazing.

I truly believe that they should receive numerous accolades from the educational community for this one. First we bought the DVD version and my son watched it multiple times a day, with great excitement. Afterwards he still watches it a few times a week and its been 3 months! After watching it just a few times he has all his phonics learned very well, and he just turned 3. Its a very entertaining video as well, with many humorous parts that keep his attention. When the Leapster cartridge came out we snapped it up just so he could watch it on the go. Also its nice using his Leapster, its sort of an inexpensive alternative to a portable DVD player for a child. We've also bought the talking words factory (DVD) which is just as fantastic, and are eagerly awaiting the "Math Factory" coming soon!! LeapFrog surely has found the magic formula for making learning fun.Best Deals for LeapFrog Leapster® Educational Video: The Letter Factory Gaming
My four year old daughter had the DVD for the Letter Factory and was thrilled at the idea that she could take it in the car for her Leapster. I thought she'd bore of it easily with all the repitition but she plays it endlessly. Between the two, in two weeks time she knew all of her letter sounds without hesitation. She is now learning to read and it is so much easier to teach her when we never have to review phonics. Even her older brother who is 8 has picked up on the catchy jingles for the letter sounds (and he already knew his phonics!!). Although she is now a master of letter sounds, she still enjoys watching this cartridge. This is very entertaining, extremely educational and for parents who don't want to push--it's a godsend!!Honest reviews on LeapFrog Leapster® Educational Video: The Letter Factory Gaming
This is a great learning tool for Leapster. However, we own the Letter Factory DVD and found this to be nothing more than the identical item. I expected more games or expanded learning. There are only 2 simple games. My 5 year old son says "too boring". We have watched our DVD for over a year and love it. This simply was not any different and not a good purchase for us. So, if you don't own Letter Factory DVD, you should get this!Find helpful customer reviews and review ratings for LeapFrog Leapster® Educational Video: The Letter Factory Gaming
My son has been in speach therapy for 1 1/2 years. He did not start talking till he was 2 1/2. Now a 4 year old, he is as stubborn as I am and wouldn't sing the alphabet song with me, nothing I did could encourage him to learn his letters or his numbers. I stumbled onto this at our base exchange and he loved it. I would let him play with the sample one when we came into the store. I brought my husband to show him how interested he was in the system. So we made the investment. I am amazed. He got this from Santa for Christmas and by the beginning of February, he knew all his letters of the alphabet and what sounds they make! He learned the proper way to make the L sound (hard for him)and when I correct him he starts singing the leapster song. He loves this game. I have since (March) purchased the Word factory and he is trying to READ!! He loves the "sticky letters" concept. I can't believe how well these games are made as to hold the attention of a very busy 4 year old! Who is no longer in speach therapy :)Monday, August 25, 2014
