Buy Money Bingo, Ages 6 and Up
This is a great game to work on money counting skills. My kids are 3 and 5, and although we couldn't play it as a family, they will grow in to it. For now I loaned it to my son's kindergarten class for the older kids to enjoy.

Best purchase I've ever made. You don't need to spend thousands of dollars on a microscope thinking you're going to get a better one that does more. This microscope does everything you need to know about determining inclusions or blemishes and so much more. You just need to take the time to learn everything this machine is capable of doing. I would recommend this microscope for beginner's to well knowledge gemologist. Its Great!
we went locally first to see if anybody selling it in cheaper price but was not the case
it was more then double here in our town so we looked other sites and found to have cheapest price with this seller.
love it

Review of VTech - MobiGo Software - Ben Ten
This game requires you to semi-master each level in order to unlock the next. My 5 year old was able to open all the games (levels) but he did find it a bit frustrating at first. He also has "nascar" and "super hero squad" and has enjoyed them all. I don't find the need to unlock the games on this as a negative. Many video games are that way. However, I would not get this game for a 3 year old.

I bought this game for my 4 year old son for his birthday along with Mobigo system and several other game cartridges. This one is neat because it is most like an actual video game, but you lose some of the educational aspect that way. It is good for building hand/eye coordination, and my son seems to enjoy it, but it never stays in the Mobigo for a very long length of time.Best Deals for VTech - MobiGo Software - Ben Ten

My 5 year old loves this game, and its one that actually keeps his attention. He has to complete levels to unlock new levels, which is different for mobigo games. This is more an actual video game, not very educational, but great to entertain.Find helpful customer reviews and review ratings for VTech - MobiGo Software - Ben Ten

After viewing to box I first thought it was going to be to similar to the first cartridge we bought with the Smart Cycle, but after seeing it run I found it to be much different. The Scooby Doo characters are familiar to my grandson so that also plays a big roll. I would highly recommend the Sooby Doo cartridge to anyone looking to purchase another cartridge for the Fisher Price Smart Cycle.Thursday, October 30, 2014
Discount The Wiggles Sing and Dance Guitar
My daughter just received the Wiggles guitar for her second birthday. Out of all her gifts this is by far her favorite. She loves to push the buttons over and over and dance to some of her favorite Wiggles songs.
I would have to agree that the voices do sound a bit muffled, I thought maybe mine just had low batteries. And I also agree that a volume control would've been nice, but it really isn't too loud. And my only other complaint would be that some of the buttons do seem to play the same sounds. Not a big deal but I think it would be more interesting if they were all different.
As far as the size and weight I think it's just fine for a toddler. In fact my daughter is very petite and has no problem taking this with her all around the house. It seems very durable as well. Another plus that toy manufacturers seem to look over on electronic toys is the on/off button. This toy actually has one which is great!! I don't know how many electronic toys my daughter has with no on/off switch that are constantly going off all the time in her toy box. So annoying!! Not a problem with this.
I read that someone didn't think this toy had any educational value. In my family we value music and this toy is full of it. Not to mention all the physical activity my daughter gets from dancing around with it.
So overall this is a fun little toy and well worth the money, especially if you have a big wiggles fan like I do!
I think the sound quality is fine for what this is, although if you're expecting digital quality, you'll be disappointed.

This is a complete crowd pleaser. My boys are HUGE fans of the WIGGLES and they each receieved this guitar as a gift when they were about 3 years old and it's still on their Top 10 list of "favorite toys in the house"! It really has helped them (not that they really needed the help) to come out of their shells and take on a role of entertaining friends and family that come to visit. The guitars are very durable as I've seen them used in my household as a bat and weapon (yikes!) -nothing has broken yet! There are quite a few of their favorite songs on it and the same buttons keep being used over and over again. If you can stand the repetition of the music and noise I suggest this for the little music lovers in your house.Honest reviews on The Wiggles Sing and Dance Guitar
The Wiggles guitar amazed myself and my two year old. It has large, easy to press buttons, and vivid colors. The songs sound clear and go along with the character you push. It is a little heavy for a toddler, so watch those little toes. All and all we love it, and at this price maybe I'll buy one for myself!Find helpful customer reviews and review ratings for The Wiggles Sing and Dance Guitar
I bought this toy for my 15 month old son. He loves it. It's perfect size for his size. Music is kinda muffled and it only plays parts of there songs, but he doesn't mind. Some of the buttons play the same tone.. Would have been neat if they made different sounds or effects. Overall for the price of the toy you won't be disappointed. Especially if your little one is a wiggles fanatic like mine is.Sunday, October 19, 2014
Review of Family Pastimes / Ogres & Elves - A 3-in-1 Co-operative Game
It only took playing the game once at the easy and medium levels for my son and I to understand the game. Since then, we have played it at the highest level many times. After reading the reviews, I was concerned that it was a really difficult game. It's not. Maybe it's just us, but we had no problem understanding how to play.
I love that we work together to play the game. Everyone has a great time playing and is happy with the outcome of the game. In the game you have to work together, take care of others, plan ahead and even share your goods with others. It's a very sweet game. My 10 y.o. son enjoys the game.
We also have Harvest Time from the same company. It's one of our favorite games too. As a family, we really enjoy the games this company produces.
I played this game with another adult and two pre-teens. This game is billed as appropriate for ages 5+. It comes with several sheets of instructions. You choose which rules you follow (and corresponding level of complexity) based on the ages of the people who are playing. We, of course, jumped right in to the highest level game and then, once we started actually trying to understand the rules, backpedaled until we were playing the kiddie version. It was still a little difficult to get the hang of it right off! But we all stuck with it. Once we got the hang of it, it was quite enjoyable.
(Based on our experience, I don't know that I would recommend it for kids as young as the makers say it's for.)
Many of the game pieces, and the game box itself, are made out of fairly flimsy cardboard and would not hold up to repeated and/or rough use.
That being said, it is fairly priced for what you are getting. It was definitely creative and provided hours of entertainment once we figured out the rules. I'm glad I took the chance on a review-less game and tried it.

I think the concept of cooperative games is interesting and fun and the best thing about them is the lack of "winners" and "losers" at the end, which is nice especially when playing with people you care about (and what's fun about playing games with people you dislike?). I had previously played Wildcraft so I wasn't completely unfamiliar with the concept of cooperative board games.I played this game with another adult and two pre-teens. I thnk this game is a wonderful game. It teaches great skills and is very interesting. The game is a little complicated for younger children until they get use to it and then they really like it and get into it. I like that it has different games for different age groups. Highly recommended alternative to regular board games.Honest reviews on Family Pastimes / Ogres & Elves - A 3-in-1 Co-operative Game
I got this game for my 7-year-old and we have played it several times now. It's a bit complex to learn all the rules and procedures at first, but now that we have mastered that part it is really fun! Challenging, absorbing, promotes teamwork and communication as well as strategizing. I agree with others' comments that it would be nice if the tiny cardboard pieces were bigger and sturdier, makes me nervous that we'll lose them, but we are keeping the small pieces in a ziploc baggie in the box and so far so good. I really recommend this game for kids who are bright and like a challenge. You can play at different levels as well so the game grows with your child.Find helpful customer reviews and review ratings for Family Pastimes / Ogres & Elves - A 3-in-1 Co-operative Game
I love the concept of cooperative games, and had been wanting to try some from this company. I was really disappointed in how complex and hard to follow the instructions were, even for adults. We kept at it and finally got the hang of it, but once we did, we discovered it wasn't really much fun. My kids are 6 and 8.Saturday, October 4, 2014
LeapFrog LeapPad Ultra Carrying Case, Purple Reviews
I never bought this kind of case with the LeapPad or the LeapPad 2 because I had heard nothing but bad reviews, the main one being the zippers were really hard to zip. So when the LeapPad Ultra came out, I was bummed to see that there were no other carrying cases available. Knowing I needed a case, I ordered it anyways. I'm so glad I did. They seem to be made better than the ones for the original LeapPads. The zipper is easy for my children to open by themselves. It hold 6 games (more if you don't mind putting two games in one holder. Would recommend to anyone that is looking for a case for the Ultra!
Great storage for the games!

This bag is very durable and made with strong material. There are holders for the games but I wish there was a strap or something to hold the Leap Pad Ultra in so that when you unzip it, it won't just fall out. So be very careful when opening because it slides around a lot & that extra protection would be helpful. Even with the gel case on there is still wiggle room. Since there is so much space on the other side, I wish it included the net pocket like the Leap Pad 2 case to fit a few accessories in it considering its size.Best Deals for LeapFrog LeapPad Ultra Carrying Case, Purple

Review of Model A-R12 Rock Tumbler
I purchased this tumbler new in box.
It's simple construction, a red metal base with a small motor attached by clear round plastic belt to one of two rollers, and a separate rubber tumbling container and its plastic top. Before you use it, go buy SAE 20 electric motor oil, per the manufacturer, at say, an Ace Hardware or Lowe's, and lightly lubricate the two top holes on the motor, and the roller contacts/bearings. Open the rubber drum by removing the metal band, then squeeze the drum's belly to make the white plastic "top" pop out, and pry it out with just your hands, with some twisting and "encouragement." Put in your thumb sized minerals, grit or polishing materials, and fill the drum 2/3 to 3/4 of the way full, then plug it in, and let it go. It's that easy.
Pro-
-cheap if you get a good price on Amazon or wherever-discounts abound for many things...
-Economical-the small motor runs for weeks with each load. Older models have tumbled for decades, if kept oiled, belts changed, and not overloaded
_Pretty fire engine red color
.
Cons-
-All tumblers tumbling are noisy; I've not listened to that many to tell whose is quieter
-This "walks"" around if placed on a flat polished granite surface or even a flat linoleum floor, so "box it in" or put it on a rubber pad, as mine walked 6" in fifteen minutes, and almost fell off my counter!
-My tumbler is very much off balance or off level, in that the rubber drum quickly moves way to the motor's side, and I need to "shim" up that side to even out the wear
-Not as solidly constructed as Lortone or others, and less expensive. You get what you pay for.
-Plastic top may wear from abrasion in a few years of heavy use, just put a round truck's rubber tire patch on its inside when you get the tumbler, and it's protected for decades!
FYI-While these are made for tumbling rocks/minerals, they do a great job on marinating steaks, in a pinch! Put the steak and marinade in a freezer baggie with a sized good air pocket, seal it, and let it tumble for 20-40 minutes. You get better marination than if it was just left overnight in the fridge. Using a vacuum tumbling adds nothing to the marinade, its a marketing gimmick to sell expensive (high profit) vacuum tumblers for meat and poultry. USDA studies found it actually is the tumbling alone, not the vacuum and tumbling, that does the trick. People still charge double the price of this, for pricey food tumblers with a gimmicky vacuum!
Hopefully your tumbler will work well for years.
For the machine itself... I processed 10k cases in 2 weeks time and had no issues whatsoever. It ran warm as advertised but no hiccups at all. As you should with all machines and tools, keep it properly lubricated and check on belt alignment prior to firing it up. I've run this near it's maximum 12lb capacity quite a bit and there was only one time I had to give the drum a little nudge to get it going. In truth, I was probably over the 12lb limit on that particular run.
The drum isn't as big or fancy as the big brother 15lb version but when I bought this from Amazon it was considerably less expensive than that model and I'm not usually tumbling large quantities of brass. If you push it you can easily do 500 pcs of 9mm or 40 in there and I've even done 500 .45's but that was probably more than you SHOULD do. With .223 cases the max you're going to get in there and get good cleaning is about 200-250. Remember to buy yourself a decapping die and pop the primers out before tumbling so you get sparkling clean primer pockets!

My sole use of this tumbler is for cleaning cartridge brass for reloading. You'll notice I say "clean" rather than polish. While the stainless media does get the brass polished it's the clean part that I'm most interested in. After tumbling 10,000 cases I feel I'm ready to review this and I couldn't be more happy. Unlike dry tumbling, using this tumbler with stainless media and a little lemishine + dawn mixed in you get truly CLEAN cases. Yea, your walnut or corn media might get the outside shiny but if you compare the inside (the part that really matters) of the cases there's no contest. For the machine itself... This review asked me to rate a "toy". This at least in my use is not a toy but a tool and a good one. Used with Stainless Steel media it will clean the inside, outside and primer pocket of any type of brass to be reloaded in just six hours using water, Dawn and Lemi Shine. You will need a hand tumble seperator to remove the media and do the final rinse before drying. I can clean around 200 .308 at a time. This is a great tool. And the tiles great quality and lock together nicely! This is a fun game that brings out the boy in your man!! And I suppose it could be good for kids too. Ha... Yes, great for kids to learn too!

These prepared slides are of very good quality and good enough that my first grader kid was able to handle the slides by herself. Each slide is nicely labeled and is color coded. You do need to treat slides with care as these slides are made of glass. My kid was very pleased with the details she could see at high magnification. Very satisfied with the purchase overall.

Love the variety the two sets provide with our microscope, also from Amazon. These are quality specimens in glass bordered by coated cardboard. Well labelled.Honest reviews on Learning Resources Prepared Slides, Set I
I expected something a tad more exotic to look at, but virtually everything on the slides is fairly common--fibers and plants and scales and so forth--so while it's convenient to have even such humdrum subjects available in prepared form, there's not a huge value to looking at them. Not that every slide needed to include unicorn horn velvet and mermaid slime, but a few things that an average person would have a little trouble rounding up would have immeasurably improved the value.Find helpful customer reviews and review ratings for Learning Resources Prepared Slides, Set I
