I bought this toy for my 1 year old son based on recommendations that it was great for teething babies to chew on and manipulate. Unfortunately, my baby is completely uninterested in it, though I think it's super-cute. His 4 year old sister, however, really enjoys twisting it around into different configurations, so it may be that it's a toy that he'll grow into.
I'm impressed by how smooth the caterpillar segments feel in the hands and how easily they can be twisted around, and playing with it seems to be useful in helping my 4 year old get a feel for how 3-dimensional shapes can fit together to fit what she's trying to do -she can quickly make it into a horseshoe shape now, for instance, or make it straight again. I'd definitely recommend this toy, but more for children 2 and up, old enough to be ready to play 'pretend,' rather than the crawl-and-chew stage it's marketed toward.

Discount Guidecraft 1 to 5 Ring Counter (G2011)
My 2 year old got this toy for Christmas and loves it! It has really sparked her interest in counting, and she was already in to colors and stacking/sorting. My only complaint (a minor one) is that 2 of the ges have come unstuck. It was a quick fix with gorilla glue, but they probably shouldn't have come off that quickly with just normal wear and tear.

Bought for 18 month old grand-daughter. This is her favorite toy. The rings are the right size for her hand, but not a choking hazard. The base could be a bit wider it falls over but she doesn't care. This toy will grow with her. Since discovering this board, I've actually ordered 3 of them and I've never been disappointed. This is an extension of the UNO r3 design!
This is a excellent choice for kids too learn on and experiment.
Not functioning like the regular UNO R3. This is supposed to be an enhancement but no documentation. They do make the regular UNO R3 which work fine. I would not recommend this version.

Update: 4/28/13. I got the documentation from San Smart. Finally figure what those extra pin was about. It was a plus after figuring out. Got this for the grandbabies and they love it. There are swirly beads in the wheels which rattle. You push it down and it rolls along the floor when you let go. 1-2 year olds love it. Works best on hard floor, but will run on carpet if not too plush.

I was having a hard time finding a gift for my 5 month old grandson because so much is passed down from his older sister, and I think a lot of what is found in stores is nothing special. This is perfect for my twin granddaughters who are 15 months old. They are just the right height to stand and splash in the water. They have also figured out how to put the balls in the center spiral and watch them come out at the bottom. Then they learned to turn the crank and spin the wheel. This would be a good gift for any toddler. It was easy to put together too.

My Kids love this toy! My son got it for his 1st Birthday (now 3) and all my kids have enjoyed it (6yoB, 3yoB and 1yoG). The kids have a lot of fun and its at the perfect height for 1-3 yo but even my 6yo loves to play in it. I know its 2 years old but Im a little sad that the sun has done its fair share of damage. The colors have faded, and most of the attachments have broke off due to the frailness. The center swirl thing and the Ferris Wheel thing are the only thing still intact on mine and I even managed to break the swirl thing the other day trying to dump it out to clean it... (totally my fault) :( The legs tend to come off fairly easy too. You want to put it exactly where you want it, cause theres no dragging it or picking it up to move it, the legs fall off and then someone has to be standing there to get them back on... over all though, its a GREAT toy. Discount Infantino Drop and Slide Fun Farm
I was unsure of how this toy would work out as I couldn't find any reviews, but I hoped it would encourage my daughter (11 months) to learn to put things in somewhere.
What it does: there are three holes on the top for the three balls to go through. They can sit in the holes, but it only takes a light pressure to push them through I'd been worried by the description that you could hammer them in. It's definitely easy enough for a young child. When they go through the hole, it makes a noise, a different one for each. One hole has a curving slide; the other two drop through the barn.
Other functions: there's a chicken on the front that can be turned around (no sound effects, just a clicking noise). There's a sliding purple door that reveals a drawing of a pig. There's a chicken sitting on three colored "eggs" that serves as a hammer. And there's a button on the front that plays 9 seconds of music.
The music and sounds are pretty good for a kids' toy, the volume isn't too loud, it's a cute tune, and it doesn't drive me insane after hearing it for the 50th time in a row.
Batteries are included, and you need a Phillips head screwdriver to remove the toy from the packaging.
As for my daughter, she seems to enjoy it. She learned to push the balls in, then to play the music, then to put the balls in the holes by herself, so it's done a pretty good job of encouraging her to develop these skills. The sliding purple door and chicken that turns are not of interest to her, and we haven't introduced the hammer yet. My daughter is very inquisitive, so she loves to stick her hand in everything! I have given her some toys that have much bigger holes for the balls and she always puts her hand right down into them. With this toy the balls are large enough so she cannot swallow them, but not so big that her hand gets stuck when she tries to figure out where they went. This is by far one of her favorite toys!! This is a good toy to help children develop some basic motor skills. Being rewarded with music after getting a ball through the hole is a great way to encourage development of that skill. Not all children will have as much fun with the sliding barn door or turning chicken but they are still good skills to encourage children to get. Overall this is a cute activity center and the music is better than a lot of others. Cheap Imaginarium Push and Go Panda
My youngest daughter is a panda fanatic. So, when she discovered that my brother and his wife are expecting a girl, she started searching for panda gear for the baby. This item is so adorable and looks like it will be great fun for the baby. If you look at the colors, the toy contains everything recommended for babies to develop eye coordination and gain stimulation. We are very pleased with the purchase, and cannot wait to give the gift!

Best LeapFrog Tag Activity Storybook I SPY Imagine That! Deals
I got this book along with the Leapfrog Tag Reading System for my three-year-old daughter. I thought it would help her learn words (or names) and its phonic sounds (I am not a native English speaker). I think it is a good book for kids who just start to learn words.
The downside of the book is that it sounds words only if they are a part of "I spy..." sentences. There are a lot of things in the I SPY pictures but everything has only some kinds of music (or effect) sounds, not names, except those in the sentences. So, my daughter only can learn names and phonics about three or four for each picture unless I teach her the names of objects personally.
Maybe, English-speak families do not understand its necessity but I wish the book has more record for objects' names. It would be a lot easier for her to learn names of things.

We got the Tag reader for our 3 year old for Christmas last year and it is one of the best things we've gotten her! She absolutely loves it! We've gotten her several fun books. I wanted to go away from the princess books so I thought I'd try this one. It is fine, but she got bored with it extremely fast, it has you look for the same stuff every time, so she knows exactly what to do and just doesn't use this one like she does her others, which is unfortunate because she loves the look and find books. Buy Teaching Poster Set: Test-Taking; Math; no. MC-P140
In the last few weeks, I have come to appreciate posters like this as teaching aides.
In our homeschool, these are of great benefit. When I am at a lost about what to teach,
I just pull out some of these posters and use these for repetition and review.
Before, I underestimated the benefits of aids like this; but the large print and large size
and the simplicity and brevity make them powerful aids to reinforce memorization.
Children really like the opportunity to read over simple, quick lessons as these
posters provide..I bought these for my classroom so it wasn't so bare. I put them up today and they look great and I am pretty sure they will last me a while.

Review of 3B Scientific Einstein Relativity Watch
This watch has a moving faceplate so the numbers will move clockwise every second. This watch has a very simplistic design and I like it. It's not obnoxiously done like other watches. It's fun to just watch the time move and try and figure out what time it is relative to the moving faceplate. I've heard that the glass face can be fragile. And to change the battery, I believe you have to pull out the adjuster and use a tiny screwdriver on a notch on the backside.
I bought this off of Thinkgeek for around $35 (b/c I wanted to order some other things). Definitely order from here through Amazon.

The face of the watch is nice and the idea is great. There are no instructions with this and the band is very cheap looking. I bought this for my boyfriend and he very nicely said to re-gift it to my 8yr old. Not a watch for an adult, unless you want to change the band. It kind of ruins the look and idea. Reviews of Autograph Books - 12 per order
