Cheap Pack of 100 Insect Pins - Size 0
Great pins, as I was looking for thin pins to sew with. I sew doll clothes, and these thin pins work quite well at holding small bits of fabric with less bulk than the thick, currently made 'sewing' or 'silk' pins.

LeapFrog Leap Pad Learning System Review
Im not sure about the previous reviewers experiences. I can tell you that I have had my Leap Pad for 5 years since they first came out and I still have the same one with all the books and it works just good as it did on day 1. I put it away for a while and I brought it back out for my son who is now 4 and he is enjoying it as much as my daughter did. Im actually going to buy more books for my older child so she can play with it again too. Ive been VERY happy with this toy. There are so many different options. It kept my daughters attention for long periods of time. I did have to replace the pen once but leap frog just sent me the replacement and I attached it. No big deal. There are so many books available for all ages this toy is great for all 3 of my kids. The sounds are very clear and each page has alot of different activities. The only thing that has been an issue is if I let my toddler play with it she can rip the pages out of the books. So I just dont let her play with it by herself. Other than that this is a 5 star toy by far.
I feel bad that I spent this much for a toy and now cannot provide the child with multiple books. Any suggestions?

We are on our 5th leap pad and although my children love it, we as parent's are going broke trying to repair and fix this darn thing! I just don't feel this is an appropriate toy for the 3-5 year olds. It is too delicate and breaks easily. My kids get so upset when it doesn't work properly and we have invested quite a bit of money in the books and cartridges. Which are sitting unused in a closet because our last two leap pads are (again) broken. Don't waste your money!Best Deals for LeapFrog Leap Pad Learning System
Our Leap Pad is now on our third child and she is enjoying it as much as her brother and sister did. She is only 2, so she only uses it under our supervision. My son used it until he was 8 and my daughter until she was six. The only thing we have ever had to replace is the pen once. We have the carry case so the kids can take it in the car or on trips. I like that it has volume control like the T.V., unlike many other toys that only have two settings. You can also use headphones with it. There are numerous books for every level of reading and interaction. It taught my children many vocabulary words that I would never thought to have used with them. This is a fun and educational toy that the children love using. I highly recommend it.Honest reviews on LeapFrog Leap Pad Learning System

I recently bought this product for a second set of grandchildren. It was a very nice toy and again it was a child-pleaser. Now I have discovered that the books are not in the stores and Amazon only has a few. On line, it is hard to tell which books go with this game as opposed to many books that go with later versions. I assume they are not compatible.I feel bad that I spent this much for a toy and now cannot provide the child with multiple books. Any suggestions?

VELLEMAN K2655 ELECTRONIC WATCHDOG KIT Review
Security advisors suggest that potential burglars will ring your doorbell to find out if anyone is home before they break in. So, if they hear what is thought to be a "big" dog inside, they may go elsewhere. This kit is the "big" dog. I did research this before I purchased this kit. Another alternate might be an MP3 recording of a big dog. But, by the time you've built a triggering circuit, power supply, and audio amplifier, this kit could be cheaper and easier to implement.
There are lots of components to be soldered so you'll need some soldering skills or you'll likely have problems. The kit lacks a lot of detailed assembly instructions, but all of the parts are easy to identify and provided in the order that they are to be installed. Nothing was missing and everything was of good quality.
Required but not provided, is an AC or DC power source and a 4 ohm speaker. For "newbies" to electronics, this may be a negative. I have several dozen old "wall-warts" and was able to find a suitable 9 VDC power source. 4 ohm speakers are not all that common but I ordered one from Amazon. The unit worked the very first time. Making any noise triggered the unit via the included mike and it started barking (and drove my real dog nuts)!
I don't plan to use the mike trigger anyway. What I want to do is trigger the unit from my doorbell, only enabling this when we, and our dog, are not home. Triggering from the doorbell causes a little more design and build in that you have to covert the 16 VAC doorbell signal to a switch closure. The kit does tell you how to use an external trigger. Another job is to create an enclosure for all of the circuitry and the speaker.
I think you can find and buy something similarly advertised and completely built but at a significantly higher price and I don't know if these pre-built designs work the same. For the price and time invested, I think this is a good deal and maybe a good "starter" project for those interested in electronics. If you search for this model online, you will find that this price on Amazon is pretty good.

Buy Prophetic Dance-Book
This book has been a blessing for giving me a basic understanding and foundation of prophetic dance. The author is knowledgeable and available for mentoring. I have never met her face to face but she has answered every question I have ever asked her VIA e-mail. I am a Prophet who has a prophetic dance ministry & team and I highly recommend this book to all dancers.

I am a small person with small hands and I needed a small inexpensive guitar that wasn't a "toy". I read the reviews of the mahogany finish model of this guitar and many professionals carry this guitar for travel. I can see why. This easy to play, lightweight guitar packs A LOT of rich true tones. I was happy with the construction and smooth feel of the frets. I switched up the strings which was much needed and can't be happier! I highly recommend this guitar as an inexpensive but serious guitar for children, small people, and anyone who needs a good sounding travel guitar that you don't have to worry about.
A string broke the minute she started playing with it. While that's not a big deal, when he brought it to me, I found the bridge pins where incredibly wedged in to the guitar. So much so that when removing (with a bridge pin tool) the top of one just popped off, and I was being pretty gentle, but now i'm replacing them all)
Finally, when I replaced the string and tuned it up, I found it was fretting out at the 3rd fret, looking closely you could see the 4th fret wasn't set correctly and was raised slightly at the b and e strings. It seemed as if it was clipped incorrectly and sat slightly over the neck. Impossible to fix without refretting/clamping and glueing/filing. It wouldn't be much of an issue from the get go if it fret out at a high fret, since most kids don't do virtuoso style playing, but it was at the 3rd fret, which is something that a few basic chords require to play correctly. Especially when learning.
There was a very strong glue smell to the guitar, as well. Plus a heavy "coated" feeling to the paint job. All of this made me believe that the guitar is just a mass produced guitar, with very little to no quality control.
Amazingly though, the intonation was pretty spot on. Which kinda blew my mind, and makes me a little surprised at the other issues. It's possible the QA people only focus on that.
It's probably a fine guitar for travel, and the perfect size for young kids, plus it's purty. Just beware that you may need to consider taking it to a reputable guitar tech or music store to take care of any "issues" that may pop up.

Best LeapFrog LeapReader Junior Storage Case (works with Tag Junior) Deals
This storage case is a must have to keep the Tag Junior and books together. The description says that it holds 4 books, but we have 4 in the case with plenty of room left over. I would say that it would easily hold 5 or 6 which is really fine becase you can only have 5 books downloaded on the Tag Junior at one time anyway.
The way the dual zipper is set up makes it easy for toddlers and pre-schoolers to open and close it themselves. The Tag Junior unit itself fits very snugly in the case it requires some effort it just doesn't slide in (and therefore won't just slide out when the case is unzipped).

I bought this for my two year old to keep all his Tag Junior items in. It is perfect. He is able to open and close it by himself and the books and reader fit perfectly. The other reviewer mentioned that the reader was hard to put in the case, but if you flip it upside down, the fit is perfect. The case would easily hold 5+ books which is all we'd have out at once anyway. I'm very pleased with this purchase and would recommend it to anyone who purchases the Tag Junior.Best Deals for LeapFrog LeapReader Junior Storage Case (works with Tag Junior)
Not just for travel, this Tag Jr. case keeps your Jr and the books that go with it [up to 5] in one location and protects both very well. Easy carry handle, partitioned inside and visually stimulating it is a must. We try to keep my son's tag available at all times and together with it's books, which is hard with all the other toys and books he owns. Having a spot to put them that he can easily identify is so worth it. And the Jr is protected for longer life.Honest reviews on LeapFrog LeapReader Junior Storage Case (works with Tag Junior)
I got this case for my 2 year old's Tag Jr. I love that it looks like a little house---so cute! I do wish it came in purple to match the "girl" leapfrog products. But, overall I'm very pleased with the case. It holds one book and the Tag flashcards, and looks like there is room for at least two more books. You have to put the Tag Reader in upside down, and it will fit perfectly. The actual Tag Jr has been hit and miss for us, but my daughter's favorite part is opening up the case and putting everything in and back out again.Find helpful customer reviews and review ratings for LeapFrog LeapReader Junior Storage Case (works with Tag Junior)

Discount iQuest Grades 6th-8th Science Cartridge
There is an element of FRAUD used in the photos shown on MANY of the iQuest cartridges on AMAZON. Almost ALL show TWO cartridges. However, you frequently only get ONE. The difference is the package that only has ONE, is an OLD outdated one and covers textbooks so old they are no longer used in the schools. They are primarily designed to be used by entering the PUBLISHER of your child's textbook, and then selecting the title of the TEXTBOOK so you can test yourself on the chapter you are doing in class, which makes the single cartridge useless.
However, you can still use them as just a questio and answer game, and just not enter the textbook info, but you should not have to pay the same price for them, as they only have about 50% as much info on them and do not co-ordinate with currently used textbooks.
I had to order 3 times before I got the current 2 cartridge pack. Amazon knows the photos are deceiving and refuses to correst them, which is FRAUD. Even after I called Amazon, BEFORE I ordered each time, to ask if I would get TWO or ONE, I was assured I would get TWO, and I only got ONE . . . .
IF you get the current 2 pk. edition, it is a GREAT deal and a wonderful educational tool. I homeschool and use these as part of our curriculim.

Reviews of ABC Train Travel Bag
We orderd this to take along on vacation and although it is a great too in theory, there are way too many pieces (and they are quite small) and can easily get lost. Some of the words could fall under two different letters (ex. is the teddy bear T for teddy or B for bear? and the the violin looks more like a guitar). Great idea, but not so great in the end.
I am also very impressed with the quality. My husband and I couldn't help but to take notice of the effort to detail and the work it must have taken to put together. We have owned this awhile now and it is still in arrival condition.
I would highly recommend this purchase!

This is really a neat toy! I have a 19 month old and 5 year old we purchased this almost 6 months ago and it is still a very liked toy by both. It really isn't a travel toy d/t the small pieces but keeps both ages attention very well. My oldest likes to put them back into place as fast as possible with the timer on and the youngest likes to just make the animal noises and trys to eat some of the food items. They are washable pieces for we have had a few in our mouth(ice cream). fun product that zips up neatly to secure all parts. Well worth the cost and any friends love this toy its neat and new old or new!Best Deals for ABC Train Travel Bag
I have 2 girls, 2 and 4 years old, that are exploring letters and numbers. We figured, like potty training, introduce it in a slow and fun way, without pressure, and they will be learning in no time and without a battle. They love this bag! They carry it around all the time and it is holding up very well. It is introducing letters and sounds in a way that doesn't seem boring and controlled. Some of the ways they use it really brings out their creativity!I am also very impressed with the quality. Cute set for my little carnivore. One thing that some may dislike is the small size of the food, but we are used to this with the plan toy brand. The plate is about the size of a saucer and the food sized accordingly. The little corn is especially cute with its felt husk still partially on. I just wish it didn't come with a big roll, something my son knows nothing about... a nice veggie side would have been nice, felt green beans for instance.Best Deals for Plan Toys Planactivity Steak Set Play Set
I needed food for my son's new grill and thought this would be great with the steak and corn. I just opened it and realized how SMALL the food was. The onions and mushrooms are a diff style cheapo wood, the corn is LITTLE and the green is felt, wasn't as crazy about it as I was when I saw it in the photo, and the steak is perfect, only wish it were a little bigger I guess. I think 15 is a bit much for what you are getting in comparison to buying a whole nice wooden kit with great utensils from M&D for the same cost. I wouldn't buy again.Best BOOMWHACKERS Boomwhackers Tubes Treble Extension Set Deals

I bought these for a preschool percussion kit I put together (and on a recommendation as a must-have item of percussion). I purchased the Treble Extension Set because it was cheaper than any other set I found, and I like that they're shorter than others as they're intended for 3-5 year old kids. The sizes range from about 10-16 inches. There really isn't much to them, and though they are different notes, there isn't really a lot of variation in the sound. I've read about how to play the boomwhackers, and my husband and I were still unable to get a lot of sound out of them. They're pretty flimsy plastic, the instructions actually talk about bending them back into shape after shipping, so I hope they hold up with extended use. Advice I saw online was to not hit the floor, as it will bend and shred the ends, and not to whack hard items with the center of the whacker, as it will bend the plastic in half.Bottom line? You might want to know what you're doing with these, but I think that the kids are going to have a BALL making music by hitting things.

I almost didn't buy this, because it looked kind of old-school and some of the reviews didn't sound so good. But, I am so glad I purchased it anyhow! My 7 year old loves it and is willing to do extra homework just for a chance to play. I sat with him as he played it and, as a teacher, I think these games are perfect for strengthening students' critical thinking skills. There just isn't much time for this training in a normal school day, so this is great for at home practice. Children need these skills to do well with the new way math is being taught in schools cognitively guided instruction. Kids need to be able to think of the quickest, easiest way to solve a problem, and to see problems from many angles. This program will help build those skills. The main product's focus is to develop the critical thinking skills, which I think is being done by the company and the product. However, the software needs to improve. First, the program requires its CD-ROM to be in the drive each and every time it is played, which is inconvenient and slows down the system. Second, the voice of the teacher on the CD-ROM is dull, very slow and monotone. Third, the method chosen for answering the questions takes too long. One has to wait for the choice to appear on the screen to click it. Lastly, if one provides a wrong answer, there is no explanation provided, as far as I can tell. Perhaps the seller was right when he encouraged me to buy the book instead. I am told that some of these types of books are better than CD-ROMs.

We gave this and the Melissa & Doug Happy Giddy Broomto two toddlers, ages 14 months & 2 years, and the children didn't want to even look at their other presents. My girl loves this super-cute broom and likes to sweep. Well, pretend to sweep anyway. The bristles fold over uselessly when they touch the floor. The ladybug head makes the weight feel off. I got this so my 4-year-old would help sweep the floor. The broom has very stiff, plastic bristles. A good broom should have softer, more flexible bristles otherwise it doesn't grab the junk on the floor well. So my daughter's "helping" wasn't very productive. Also, the lady bug is made of plastic and hollow inside (if it go stepped on it would shatter). So a bit flimsy. There are cheaper small brooms at Toys R Us. This one was a bit pricey for what it gives you; with Melissa & Doug I thought I would be paying for a higher quality product, but not so much. But it's still a great size and cute.
