Best Human Biology EIN-O's Box Kit Brain Deals
It's very small, but it's very detailed. I bought it as a present, for someone who is a neurobiology major. I thought maybe it could help them see what they were learning, I don't know if it helped her. The brain part is about the size of a tennis ball.

Reviews of 11X-80X Inspection Zoom Monocular Microscope w/ Coaxial Light
Customer Ratings:
List Price: $1,500.00
Sale Price: $475.30

I got this scope because it has coaxial illumination (good for inspecting silicon chips) and because it offers one of the widest fields of view when zoomed out. I got it with a 3MP camera (low pixel count = high light sensitivity, fast fps, and reasonable match for optical capability) instead of the eyepiece. With that setup, I can photograph an area as large as 15*20mm easily in great quality. My only disappointment was that the coaxial illumination was a bit dim, consisting of four small white LEDs. The camera auto-gain will compensate for the dim illumination, but the exposure time will default to 350ms, meaning you only get a screen refresh rate of around 3 fps, and moving your specimen will blur and delay the image noticeably. So I took the LED light source apart (easily done) and installed a 1W Luxeon type diffuse white LED with much more light output (that installation is the slightly more difficult part). Now I can cruise the sample much more quickly at ~60ms exposure times (around 16 fps). My recommendation to Amscope is: Use a brighter LED in your coaxial light source, and the scope will be much better. Overall, a great microscope, and looking at a big monitor is also very comfortable compared to peering through an eyepices. Very nice buy for the price.

Expedition : Skull Of Tyrannosaurus Rex Reviews
My 9 year-old son who's really into gems and minerals received this for Christmas. Great gift! There's instant gratification with the "crystal mine," one of those dig it type activities, and fun watching different colored "gems" (simple crystal formations) grow on a rock which you supply. This takes about a week. My son has a collection of these crystal formations displayed in his room. With adult help and supervision, a child as young as 6 or 7 could have fun with this kit. One caution, though. My younger son accidentally spilled the green growing solution which contains a huge amount of coloring. Though we were able to clean it up, it was a big mess on the granite counter, wall, and tile floor. Next time we chose a container with a lid. Overall, a very cool gift, and different than anything I was able to find locally.this is a great product for that kid who loves science or that adult who likes to experiment. excellent educational item

CHEWY TUBE SMALL Reviews
I got these to use with preschoolers and newborns. I am a speech pathologist working in home health care. This is the best size for the kids I work with, but I wouldn't mind if there was an even smaller one available. These are very helpful for giving to kids to gnaw on when they are teething; the chewing helps to bring the tooth fully through the gums.

Both my son and daughter have severe Sensory Processing Disorder. My daughter, being the sensory seeker, was chewing on anything and everything, and picking her lips until they bled until we got a chewy tube! She chewed it everywhere we went and it held up to her severe chewing! If you have a chewer, sensory seeker...buy it.Best Deals for CHEWY TUBE SMALL
We are using this as a teething toy. It was suggested by an OT because it can reach the infants back teeth. My son is able to easily manipulate the chewy tube and he enjoys using it.Honest reviews on CHEWY TUBE SMALL
This is a great solution for providing sensory stimulation to folks who need the extra oral motor input. My son has been a fan for years and these are easy to clean, to hold, have multiple positions for chewing and holding and are very durable. The different colors provide different thickness and textures to add the extra sensory input. A great product at a good price.Find helpful customer reviews and review ratings for CHEWY TUBE SMALL
This has been an ideal toy for my daughter to keep around for when she feels the need to chew.Thursday, November 6, 2014
Cheap FLY Through™ Spanish Pocket Translator
Fly Through Spanish is some of the best software for the Fly pen available. You can write a word in English and hear the Spanish translation, or write a Spanish word and hear the English translation. The translator will also spell out translations for you (my only complaint is that the translations are spelled a bit too quickly, especially if you're trying to write them down). The cartridge even comes with some games to help you learn Spanish words. Fly Through Spanish also comes with a booklet that has verb conjugation charts and ideas for games you can play. I was very impressed with the verb charts. They actually includes all the tenses and a chart of irregular verbs. Fly Through Spanish is a great tool for learning and practicing Spanish words. Please keep in mind that this software will not teach you Spanish but it is a wondeful and downright fun addition to a class or self-study program.
I hope that Leapfrog releases more languages, especially French.
Actually I want a Fly too!!!! :-)
P.S. A great tool for the homeschooling family!!!

The fact that almost all the reviews are children should tell parents one thing when considering this for their child...This is FUN and it is what YOUR children want. Imagine a great "toy" that is also an "educational tool". Parents and children are BOTH happy with this purchase. My child will be starting Spanish in the fall.....this will be a MUST in our household.Actually I want a Fly too!!!! :-)

Best Deals for FLY Through™ Spanish Pocket Translator
I give this product a medium to low rating bcuz Spanish just like any other language has many different dialecs and some words I tried translating into Spanish to English weren't recognized. For example .. Por Favor or Comida were unrecognizable. Also every time I write a capital I it keeps being recognized as a V no matter how matter times I write it. Is there something wrong with my Fly Pen ? Either way the translations aren't quite accurate bcuz my friend who speaks fluent spanish says that some of the translations are old spanish translations that people don't even use anymore. Like Amora is Love or Amor. Some still use it but most hispanics nowadays use AMO and words like I couldn't be translated. It's better just to buy a English-Spanish pocket translator.Honest reviews on FLY Through™ Spanish Pocket Translator
I'm in Spanish 1 Part B at my school, which means I've been taking it for 2 years. I'm asking for this for Christmas and I'm sure my parents will give it me, since their making me take Spanish. It sounds muy bueno (very good) and I can't wait to see if I got it or not. Adios! (bye!)Monday, November 3, 2014
Reviews of Dandelion Organic Toy Crinkle Book
This toy was an immediate hit with my 3-month old baby. She loves the crinkle noise it makes when she squishes it. It is hard to find natural and organic sound and effect toys. This is a good affordable option for an infant. It washes and drys well -a must since baby will chew on it. Still a favorite at 5 months.

This toy is ok...it does make the nice crinkly noise as advertised, but as far as being a "book" and teaching letters and numbers...It has One Apple on the first "page", two birds on the second, and three cat heads on the third page (the name of each item drawn starts with the first three letters of the alphabet: an apple starts with an a, birds starts with a b, and cats starts with a c) and that's it...there are no actual numbers or letters on the toy. The pictures are sewn in light colors as you see on the front with the apple. As it is hard to tell from picture, the colored appendages you see on the sides are not hooks, rather they are simply little flat tags (two layers sewn together--not thick). This is not an educational toy (beyond simple motor skills, color contrasts maybe), but does pass as a regular organic crinkle toy, if you want to pay that much for one. On the plus side, the white cloth is very soft (the tags on the sides are a bit rougher material).Best Deals for Dandelion Organic Toy Crinkle Book
My son enjoys this little toy, and it happened to be one of his first toys. It is sweet and pleasant looking but after a certain point there is nothing too visually stimulating about it. A different texture or textile inside the pear would have added some interest but at 9 months, my baby could care less about this. The pictures really aren't interesting enough to give a second thought to. The quality is very good and the fabric is soft and you can feel good that it is natural. I think the best age for this toy would be for 3-6 months. But there are certainly cheaper options available.Honest reviews on Dandelion Organic Toy Crinkle Book
You HAVE TO GET THIS crinkle book! I have now bought two because my baby started teething at 3 months and is now 10 months and has totally worn out the knots on this thing! First of all he loves the crinkle sound and mostly he can't get enough of the knots! I have to keep washing it so he has it available for those tough days and it's holding up really well except for the knots, those have gone pretty much bald, lol....either way I bought the first one when he was about 3 months and the second one recently so it has lasted a while. This way he can have one available while the other is in the wash. I feel completely comfortable letting baby chew away on these knowing they're completely safe for my baby. I will be buying these as gifts for all my new mommy friends!Find helpful customer reviews and review ratings for Dandelion Organic Toy Crinkle Book
I'm always looking for the perfect toxic free toy for my six months old baby. After getting this toy I got buyers remorse for how expensive it is, for what it is. The toy is non toxic, however, it's so boring! My baby took a look at it play with it for one minute and that's it! I tried to entice her with the crinkly noise she seems to like so much, but no, she is not interested. I gave 3 starts for the fact that this is a very green toy, I hope my baby will come around and like it one good day.Discount My First Lab Prepared Slide Sets - Blood & Guts and Incredible
A wonderful introduction set to use with your first microscope. Our grandson has enjoyed this set very much. I recommend this set. Do be advised the slides are glass so adult supervision is needed until the child becomes adept with setting up slides with their microscope.

"Risk Simulation and Queuing" taught by Dr. Cliff Ragsdale - 4 week Reviews
I took the course for the sole purpose of becoming proficient in the use of the Frontline "Risk Simulation and Queuing" software. I thought that my academic background in optimization theory provided me with a strong enough understanding of risk analysis and queuing concepts to easily apply the spreadsheet programming steps provided by the course. Fortunately not only did the course satisfy this requirement but in addition I was pleasantly surprised at how well the accompanying book by Dr. Cliff T Ragsdale added to my understanding of how to properly design a multitude of spreadsheet applications. Dr. Ragsdale demonstrated how to apply the power of the software to a wide range of real world situations from manufacturing and inventory control applications to capital financing and investment issues which require optimizing the utilization of time, capital, labor and materials.
I would recommend this course to anyone interested not only in how to use the software but also desiring to expand their understanding of practical spreadsheet design for use in solving complex real world problems. For me it was time and money very well spent.

Buy Playskool lil' links turtles and frogs
This is a great toy that a child can stack and attach to one another. It also ends up in my childs mouth and is a great teether. It is not small enough that he would choke though. My child is 9 months old and loves watching them spin on the hardwood floor.

My 8 month old son likes these cars. I wouldn't say that he can't live without them or anythingbut he isn't one of those "this is my favorite toy!" kind of kids. He does enjoy these, thoughas does his 2 1/2 year old sister. He plays with them, and enjoys manipulating the wheels, and I think they will be even more fun when he decides to crawl. ;) They are cute, sturdy, and we haven't had any issues with paint or anything. We like them! Cute, classic toy!Best Deals for Melissa & Doug Stacking Cars
My grandson is 9mos. old. He loves these cars! They are his favorites. Being a baby, everything goes into his mouth at some point. These cars show no sign of paint issues or even chew marks...and he has 6 teeth. I will definitely have to get him a couple of trucks to go along with these. Well pleased.Honest reviews on Melissa & Doug Stacking Cars
My son puts everything in his mouth so I appreciate that the wheels on this are sturdy enough to withstand a lot of mouthing. They are also big enough that I don't feel nervous even if one were to accidentally come off.Find helpful customer reviews and review ratings for Melissa & Doug Stacking Cars

It is important to follow the directions don't use a full tube of mentos they just spray out and don't loose the pin. It seems expensive for what it is, but is MUCH easier than trying to fabricate something yourself. Just add pop any diet (NO SPLENDA) works best.Best Deals for Steve Spanglers Geyser Tube
Got this for my son's Mad Science birthday party. I purchased 4 geyser tubes, and 3 out of 4 of the geysers leaked through the sides, we had alot of diet coke bottles so the kids took turns. Other than that, they had a blast getting soaked by the geysers.Honest reviews on Steve Spanglers Geyser Tube
Overall, we enjoyed the Geyser Tube. The soda shot pretty high up into the air! We had fun setting it off during two separate parties (outside, in our patio). The biggest problem was that soda still escaped out the sides from the tube (instead of all of the soda going straight up through the top), even though we tried to pull the pin out fast so the guard could come down over the holes. We ran the experiment 4 times (we had extra Mentos around for the party) and it was a crowd-pleaser (we have some away as party prizes) but each time we still had a problem with soda coming out the sides.Find helpful customer reviews and review ratings for Steve Spanglers Geyser Tube
This is a must have tube for the Diet Coke, Mentos experiment. No guess work it gives you the right load without a mess. It is a great buy and save money, buy the Fizz Factor Book along with the Geyser Tube. Loads of fun for the young and old.Saturday, August 23, 2014
Buy Match-The-Shapes Sorting Center
This is a great educational game/toy for kids exploring shapes! I wish the single shapes you place the cardboard cards on was laminated. I am not sure if it is and it's just really lite but trying our best, b/c we only get this out when we work on it together, that the single pieces wont get bent. I am considering taking it to the teaching store to get it laminated again. If so this product would last a lot longer. Either way it's a great product and I think he will enjoy it more exploring this game again when he's 3.

we came across this product in one of the educational fair and my son loves it, but wishes if there is stock for ages 4-6 and 5-7 or even younger....my son is coming to 4yrs old and so I am playing this toy instead :)Best Deals for FunThinkers Book 3 (Ages 6-8/Gr. 1-3)
We have all three of the FunThinkers books. My children love them because they are like playing a game. I love them because they are fun and educational. Each book builds up in skills. Book 1 is a great starting book because the child can quickly build their confidence and then they want to do more. These books cause kids to "think". When they are finished they can check themselves to see if they've done the page correctly. They love to see if they've done it all right. These books are such a hit that I've now purchase 2 sets of frame/tiles. I wish they had more books/higher levels but I recently found out the series has been discontinued.Honest reviews on FunThinkers Book 3 (Ages 6-8/Gr. 1-3)
This is a great toy for young children and for special needs children. My daughter is 12 years old and autistic. (We use both book 2 and book 3) The mechanism of the game itself is so simple and ingenious. There is a hinged plastic grid that is placed over a large page of the fun-thinkers book. You place plastic tiles 1 to 16 on the left side of the gird then the player lifts a tile to match it with an item on the right side. For example: the child lifts a tile and there might be a picture of a cow and then places the tile on the other side over a picture of a farm. There are also exercises with sentences, shapes, face matching, math and so on. My daughter enjoys this game and learns from it at the same time. It's an amazing game!Sunday, July 6, 2014
