I bought this toy last year for my nephew, who is now 18 months old. First of all, it's gorgeous to look at, and generally of very high quality. I love how when you pull it, the squirrel's little tail thumps up and down... so cute. There are some issues, though. First of all, the cord is very short (I'm assuming it's a safety thing, so they don't get wrapped up in it). Adding to this is the fact that the cord comes in 2 pieces with a connecting plastic bit that snaps off, really easily. I assume that's also for safety, in case it gets caught in something, but it's so annoying. I ended up tying the cord in a knot because every time he played with it the darn thing snapped off. Then there's the general design of the squirrel. He falls over really easily because the wheels are so narrow. For a long time my nephew would just drag him on his side and just get bored with him. He finally is getting it that if he's patient and watches what he's doing, his squirrel will stay upright and do something cool (he has to walk backwards to do this, which I kind of don't like). That look of joy because he accomplished something is just golden. So, overall, I feel I have to keep looking for a better pull toy that will be easier for the little one to enjoy. He'll probably keep playing with this one, but it just requires so much effort for a little kid.

My kid loves this rolling squirrel she has named Kiko. It is well put together without too many moving part. Its color is what attracted her and she loves it. If your child points this out grab one, it will make them happy.

This is a great toy that a child can stack and attach to one another. It also ends up in my childs mouth and is a great teether. It is not small enough that he would choke though. My child is 9 months old and loves watching them spin on the hardwood floor.

This is the best skeleton for Halloween decorating. Very realistic. However a little heavy. Really a great product.

I took my buckey and rubbed on some gell stain and then wiped it off before it dried. It had a great effect making it look

old and a scary. You can even cover it with stockings and liquid latex tare the stockings spread on some latex and

Although I expected the product, being 4th quality, to have minor defects, there were numerous defects, including a defective fitting of a thigh bone into the pelvic bone. It was an effort simply to position the skeleton in a sitting position on a bench.

As many of the other reviews point out, this is not a high-quality item, but then again it's not advertised as such. I received exactly what I ordered a fourth quality not-for-educational use plastic life-sized skeleton. It arrived with a broken collar bone and a few screws loose or missing, but I was able to tighten the loose screws without a problem. While moving the skeleton, it's easy for all the hardware to loosen, so you have to be diligent about tightening the screws to make sure bones don't fall off. The plastic is OK, albeit discolored and has some sharp edges from the mold, but it held together mostly. The only real problem I had was one of the leg bone screwholes was too close to the edge of the hipbone and the plastic on the hipbone broke, leaving me with a fractured hip.

My purpose was to use this item as a prop in my photography, and it was perfect for that purpose. Carrying the item was not easy as it's pretty heavy (as others have said) and gets heavier the longer you carry it. Also, the edges of the bones are pretty sharp and dig into your flesh. But, depending on what you're intentions are, it's a good buy for the money. I would've loved to have had a real medical-use skeleton, but I couldn't justify spending the money when it was only going to be a photo prop.

I wanted an inexpensive yet quality skeleton for a Halloween project. After reading some of the reviews I was sceptical about purchasing one of these 4th quality skeletons. Much to my surprise, it exceeded my expectations. It is indeed 4th quality in that there are broken ribs and color imperfections throughout. There were unfinished edges from the molds the plastic bones were cast from. It was packaged well and all of the hardware was present with some minor assembly. Nothing like the reviews posted. If you want top quality, say for anatomical study, pay top price. If you are looking for something as a decoration or stage prop, this is it.

I really only purchased this for the magnifier, as other reviews said the tweezers were useless anyway. As one person noted,

the optics are a little fuzzy, but this is a TOY, not a tool, and the magnification is good enough that my 3 yr old grandson will simply be fascinated with the magnification effects, not only with bugs, but with everything.

This is the perfect size for my little guy. He's 20 months old and loves to play with this. We use it to find and examine bugs, and he's always quite pleased. The handle and viewspace are both large enough for him to use on his own.

This is great for the little explorer! Both pieces are made of highly durable plastic that will hold up to rough playing in little hands. The tweezers are a little hard to squeeze completely closed for my 3 year old, but he's able to get it most of the way and has been picking up thicker objects, like his foam letters to "inspect" and move them. There is a ring on the back of the magnifying glass that will pop out so it can stand up, but he really hasn't been interested in that so we just leave it closed. The glass does magnify much more than the last one he had and he loves being able to blow up pictures, words, and faces to make them look huge! My 1 year old has even gotten in on the action and picks it up to look at things. The "glass," which is more of an acrylic, does scratch easily though. We've had it for nearly a week and it has about 5 or 6 scratches on it already. He doesn't seem to mind though and is still happy to use it to explore his world.

Bad Optics and Tweezers too large and hard to squeeze. Maybe I expected too much, but when I looked through this it was really hard to find a sweet spot where a large amount of the field was in focus. Can't imagine a kid doing it.

I have a 9 year old son. I got this for him last Christmas. I only bought it because I remembered when I had something similar to it a long time ago. I remembered how much I learned from it about electricity, and how it got me into it. The look on my boy after a few hours playing with it was just the same as I had years ago. This toy is very enjoyable and educational at the same time. I have another boy (5years old), and he doesn't know how to play with it, but he has an intrest of the sounds it makes, and some of the projects you can have your voice broadcasted through a weak AM channel. My son took it to school to show and tell, and the teacher asked him if he can bring it again so they can work on some of the projects it has in it. All in all it is FUN 4 ALL ;)

This set has been around for a while, because received one for Christmas when I was 11. I worked as a computer maintenance tech in the Air Force, and as an electronics repair tech for several years afterward, and now I design and build guitar amplifiers in my spare time. I can say it all began when I received this set.

Not only did I do every project in the manual, but the set allows for experimenting on your own, so I never grew bored of it. It's not for every kid, but for a kid like me, it was the best Christmas gift I ever received, and I think it has had an effect on my whole life since then.

I bought this for my 10-year-old son who loves sciene and taking things apart. I wasn't too sure about the kit when I ordered it but my son took to it immediately. There are 130 experiments and he went through about 40 of them the first three days. I thought he would burn out and told him to pace himself, but he just h-a-d to do the most demanding experiments.

I watched as he made all the connections. To me, it looked like a dreary task, but he liked it. It could take 10 minutes to connect the wires per the diagram to make a light work or to make a sound.

A month later, he had completed everything there was to do, but he then started finding his own discoveries via experimenting outside the guide.

I figure that even if he does get bored with it now, it has been of value. I did not want to pay for the much larger set because I was not sure how well it would go over. In retrospect, I would have gotten that one.

One word of advice: make sure to use cups to sort the different wires so they do not get scattered all over the place.

We bought this 2 years ago for our boys, when they were 10 and 8. They still play with it occasionally. They have built the am radio, the "electronic cat" sound maker, motorcycle sound maker, LED flashing light, and the emergency siren. And those are just the projects we can remember them doing. There are many other fun projects to do and learn from. I highly recommend this.

My 2 1/2 year old got the leap pad for Christmas. In an effort to find books that were more his level I picked this one up for him.

This is a great book for the leap pad. In fact it is one of the best ones we have seen so far. (We haven't used very many though.)

The songs are classics. The instruments you can play the song with change from page to page, so you might have an accordian on one page and a violin on the next. The idea that you can learn the song line by line is neat as well as clicking on the individual words to learn each word. My son has enjoyed clicking on the seperate notes to play his own music.

This is a fun book. Enjoy!

This is a fun Leap Pad book it has 14 songs/rhymes and allows the child to learn lyrics (either line by line or word by word), 3 different instrument sounds and the musical note names themselves. The only concerns I have are 1) that the pages of the book are relatively thin and rip somewhat easily and 2) this particular book's icons at the bottom of each page are confusing. They are designed to look very cute with swirling ribbons around them, but it's hard for my daughter to clearly understand what each one does. It also doesn't start playing a song when the child clicks the GO circle they have to click on an instrument, and then the singer, to hear it sung. This is different from the other LEAP books, as they all start reading the page to the child as soon as GO is clicked. I don't think it's a reason NOT to get it; I just wish they had made it consistent with the other LEAP Level 1 books.

We were a bit disappointed in this book. The tunes and tempo of several of the rhymes is different than the "usual" versions that my kids are familiar with. The pages could really use to be more durable, the cord from the pen has caused several small tears and the pages rip from the spiral binding much too easily. For the price, I would suggest getting a different book...Thomas the Tank Engine & Bob the Builder were both very popular with my 4 yr old son.

Hape's lacing pony is a very high quality, beautifully crafted wooden toy. As pleasing to look at as it is to use, this toy met all of my expectations. I would definitely recommend this toy and the Hape company. If I have to make one complaint, the age recommendations could be raised. The package suggested it was appropriate for 3 year olds. Because the legs are not attached, perhaps this toy is better suited to slightly older children for independent play.

I use this tambourine for dance worship, and sometimes I prefer a really sober tambourine, something without shine, with good sound and quality, and this are the qualities of this tambourine.

Its just a little more delicated, but its really Useful.

I really recomend this tambourine.
