I got this as a gift for my colleague. The shipping was on time, and everything was smooth.

The product arrived in two pieces, the base and the globe. You have to put them together, but it's really simple just place the globe on the base. The colors were just like in the picture, and the contours of the continents were quite accurate. In general, I'm happy about this item.

The downside: the material is plastic, which makes it feel less classy and a little bit overpriced; the globe is secured to the frame by two screws, and you have to constantly tighten them if you rotate the globe too much.

I love this toy because it has the Capital and Lower Case letters. It also spells the words out so my twin 4 year olds get to practice their spelling and lower case letters. I would recommend the box be made bigger so the puzzles don't have to be connected when put away. I also recommend the pieces be made of wood so they are more durable and stay together. It is hard to pick up cardboard and put it in the box without it falling apart.

My expectations were low after seeing a previous product, a paper thin boombox, in the stores. These things are pretty sturdily built and sound pretty good for what they are. Playing through the built-in songs is fun, and playing "real guitar chords" in freestyle mode along with another one of these guitars can even teach you the chord progression of the song, handy for playing a real guitar. These run on 3 "AA" batteries (not included) so stock up if you get more than one of these (I bought the full set of 6). I like very much the fact that each one of these guitars plays different songs than all the rest (I was hoping for that), so there are 18 different songs that these play all together, and there is already a second series of six more different guitars to collect. It sure beats the price of collecting the real guitars! Lots of fun for all ages and the price ($25 each) is reasonable, but wait, there's amps, drums, and neck straps to collect as well!! My credit card is already groaning!!

So very happy to be directed to you (Amazon.com) by the company that creates this toy...they only create; they do not sell their product. my friend JD is 19 months old & his pt lent him the Ballyhoo ball to help JD with his hand & finger therapy. the Ballyball is bright, the smaller balls are different in color & texture. they are durable; yet they are 'kind' to a toddler's grasp. they are 'at home' in JD's wading pool & are easy to clean. wether just one or all the balls are used at the same time, they entertain & help JD' s therapy needs...which is our goal. since JD was so preoccupied with the Ballyhoo, i wanted him to have his own...it seems to be 'new' each time he reaches for it. this child at 19 months is unable to crawl; yet he has learned to get around & seek out his favorite toys...his Ballyhoo is one of those!!B. My 1 year old absolutely loves this ball tge only concern I have is that some of the balls so not stay in and come out quite frequently, one has already been lost. The smaller balls all have a sifferent fearure like one squeaks, one has points, one is like a bean bag. Ither than the fact that somehow the little balls dont stay in their holes very well.

We thought this toy would be perfect for our almost one year old who loves balls, and it seemed to have great reviews. We were very disappointed with it when it arrived, it is bigger and clunkier than we had pictured, the texture was pretty rough, and the smaller balls either fell out and wouldn't stay in or were difficult for my son to get out. He didn't pay any mind to it all, neither did my three year old. For the price I found it to be a very disappointing product. We are returning it.

Got this for my five year old granddaughter. Five caterpillars arrived in the mail in about a week. All five cocooned in about 5 days and turned into butterfly a few days later; the granddaughter was thrilled.

The net talks when you press the Dora button and gets pretty annoying quick. Of course now the granddaughter wants to "catch" the butterflys with the net which I am not encouraging.

First the design and organization of this is great! I love that things are seperated into categories. I follow the instructions that come with it and only do one lesson a day. I also do as the book suggests and I made a fun song and clap my hands to it when I bring the box out. He knows the song and crawls to the box and starts going crazy. Once he learned where the box stays he constantly is pulling it out and going crazy over it! So cute! I got this when he was 6 months old and he is doing really good with it.

The quality of the product is medium. I would expect higher quality for the price, but overall I say just the organization of this kit is well worth the money.

As for the other review with the words "shoes" and counting only to 10.... I have to remind people this is for BABIES!!!!! NOT TODDLERS! There is a seperate kit for that. My baby does not like to wear shoes or socks, but the words are still in the book because it's common everyday items that they come into contact with. They don't ride planes everyday either, but I think it's good that they have included those words. They need a variety and I honestly think they did a good job picking out first words. As for the numbers.... again this is for BABIES! This means under 12 months. This is to get them familiar with the numbers, orders, and sounds. Which you do not want to confuse them and go up to 10 just yet. You can do that later... such as in the Teach My Toddler Kit. This is not ment to teach them to count verbally, again just to get them familiar with numbers, sounds, and order. I don't know any baby under 12 months that can count.

The only NEGATIVE thing that I can say about this kit is that in the Animals section there is a picture of goose and they call it a DUCK and they say it goes "Quack". That drives me a little crazy because I grew up on a farm, but I don't think my 11 month old knows the difference. LOL!

I received Teach My Baby as a gift when my daughter was 11 months. At 16 months she has mastered most of the box except for the counting, so I am going to purchase the Teach my Toddler.

I like that this provides an organized method to try and teach my daughter parts of the face, first words, counting, and animals/textures. To keep my daughter interested I only do one section a night. She will go and point to the box and try to drag it out so we can play with it. As noted in other reviews, the quality isn't perfect. But overall this is a great item.

My son loves learning and wants to use this kit every day. It has great illustrations and a verity of items. The pop out puzzles bend easy and are a little hard to get some of the pieces out. My son bent a couple of them and the card board has torn a little but it is still very useable. The plastic pouches that hold the material have already tore also. I purchase teach my toddler (this one has more durable parts and is easier to organize) also and they work very well together. My son has a lot of fun and it has helped to accelerate his vocabulary already. Over all the product is great and I would recommend it they just need to be reinforced a little.

I first got this when my daughter was 5 months old and was impressed with how fast I received it. I opened it up and loved how organized it was and how it was put into different categories, I honestly dont any complaints about it. I didnt get to start doing the kit until my daughter was 7 months because my daughter was just meeting her father for the first time as he just got back from deployment. Since she was so young and still learning how to control her movements and I didnt want her to be putting the books or the cards into her mouth, I would put her in her little bumbo and I would sit in front of her and go through everything with her holding it in front of her so she could touch it and see it. I did what it instructed me at first, making songs, doing it only 20 minutes a day but my daughter enjoyed it so much that we started to do it every morning and every night. Shortly after she turned 1, she knew everything in the box. I kept going until she was 18 month like the box instructed and to make sure she had everything down 100%. She's now currently using the Teach my Toddler kid and is learning everything from that. I would recommend this, I have a few expecting friends who plan on purchasing this item when the time comes. Like some of the people mentioned, this kit is for babies from 6-18 months. In order for it to work you need to make it fun for your child and do it everyday.

For the price you'd think the would be higher quality. The face recognition (nose, mouth, tongue, etc..) are poor quality and slightly blurry (like they were blown up too much for the picture quality). The puppets are useless because they don't stay on your fingers. They're individual puppets for each finger and are just sleeves (no elastic to hold them onto your finger) so unless you have really thick fingers, they won't stay on your fingers. So they puppets are useless unless you sew them onto a glove. The pictures and the textures they used for animals were okay but I like the First Words brand much better. I'll keep using these but more as a back up to the other ones I purchased.

I love this skull... it was in excellent condition, well wrapped... the only thing and not a big deal at all was the laminated "card" of bone descriptions was kinda shoved in the packing box (and didn't need to be, there was plenty of room to lay flat) was folded and bent. I placed at the bottom of my book shelf to flatten it. It will have a permanent crease in it. I don't know if the seller packs it or Amazon, but it was kind of careless. But again, it really isn't a big deal, the skull is perfect, the hinge on the the mandible is really tight, brand new.

I ordered this product because my husband's family doesn't live nearby, and it's a great way for my daughter to get comfortable with their faces as well as their voices even though she only sees them a few times per year.

This "photo album" is cute and colorful. Little ones love opening and closing it. There are tabs on each page that crackle etc, to get them even more interested.

There's a cute giggle when you open/close the album. After you put batteries in, recording the voices and inserting the photos isn't too difficult. If your little one still likes to chew on things, the photos are fairly safe from drool although it is not waterproof.

I would recommend this for almost any baby or young child, and especially if you have family that live far away!

The tabs which stick out from each frame have a very crinkly substance inbetween the fabric which makes them fun to play with. Frankly, these generated as much fascination as the talking pictures. The from cover has a small mirror your child can look into I used this to say "this is Debbie" and carried that through with "this is Grandma" etc. The body of the bug is where you install 3 batteries. The end cap unscrews, which I thought was a good idea so a child doesn't inadvertently pull the tail off and the batteries fall out. In order to put the photos into the frame the instructions tell you to stick a screwdriver into the corner of the frame closest to the bug body and lift up. You have to jam that screwdriver in almost half inch, which I was afraid would bust the frame..when you angle the screwdriver handle away from the bug body the idea is the screwdriver will lift up a little latch and this latch also propels the clear plastic photo protectors up. OK, if you can successfully do this, pull the plastic out and reinsert the plastic you're much more capable than I am. I could not make the process work for me. I ended up grabbing the plastic insert with the thumb and forefinger of one hand and 'forcing' it up, past the latch. I was able to pull this up about 1 inch (although you could have taken the entire plastic insert out, I didn't want to risk not being able to get it back in) I inserted my photos which you should have trimmed to a 4" wide by 6" length maximum, I trimmed mine a tad bit less so I wouldn't have bulk at the sides. The photo sleeve went back in with no problem. Overall I do like the photo bug, and my borrowed young child enjoyed it very much. It was not difficult to record sound. I would recommend, especially for grandparents etc who live far away. The flaw for me was the release latch, which I could not get to work. Be aware that you can pull the plastic photo sleeve up using gentle pressure and you will save yourself alot of frustration. I rated the toy rwo stars for education as I'm not sure how educational it is. I suppose you could talk about colors?...I felt it was more to keep your child aware of relatives they don't often see.

My 19-month-old niece LOVES looking at photographs, whether they be on an iPhone, hanging on the hall, or in a photo album. She has a kid photo album that she keeps in the car to look at during road trips, but that has nothing on this photo toy. With this album you can have the people whose pictures are displayed in the album record messages that play when the child looks at the photos. Each audio clip can be up to eight seconds in length, which really is plenty of time. Also, the toy itself is quite durable and easy for a child to use. I do wish you could include more than eight photos, but what are you gonna do? It's pretty awesome overall, and a big hit with the little one!!!

We are buying this toy for the daycare where our grandson plays. He has one at home and as he is not quite steady enough to walk on his own yet, he zooms around the house with this toy to balance himself. It affords him mobility and he plays with the small pieces constantly, taking them out and putting them in the "turtle mower"...he has had a fall at daycare trying to push a similar toy which is not as sturdy so we are providing this more suitable toy for the daycare facility.

This push cart is 1 of 2 I was able to find that has adjustable resistance on the wheels which is great for munchkins learning how to walk. Our 8 month old does great with it. Some minor modification is needed on the tires as the resistance lever on the bottom moves when the cart is pushed. My husband attached a screw on the opposite end of the lever under the front wheels and a rubber band connecting the 2 to prevent the resistance lever from moving. Works great. If additional resistance is needed (for hard wood floors or tile) we put a rubber band on the front tires. The cart is also pretty sturdy, our son can pull himself up without the toy tipping; he has not grabbed the top of the yellow handle and pulled himself up in which case I would think it would tip but that's common sense. I read a lot of people say the tires fall off; they do not IF you put them on correctly, they have to be pushed in and you'll hear a click when they are in place.

My grandson is 11 1/2 months old and is starting to balance on his own. He will be walking soon but is at least 2-3 weeks away from more than a step or two on his own. My daughter was looking for a toy he can walk behind and push and I chose this one because the wheels can be set to go slow or fast and there is a shape sorter and other features on the top for a child to play with.

My grandson was here for a visit this weekend and he loves it! At first he just sat next to it and played with the shapes that are inside the lidded shape sorter on the top. (When the shapes are inside the sorter when the toy is pushed they spin around and make noise.)

He can pull himself up on it without tipping it but he is petite and someone was always right there should it have started to tip. A larger child might tip it if they put a lot of weight on it to stand. By the end of the weekend he was pushing it all over the house. (An adult was always right there with him ... it is sturdy and does not appear to tip easily but he is just starting to walk and we don't take chances! He did not tip it at all while he was here.) He can go very quickly on both carpeted and smooth surfaces. He absolutely squealed with delight when he was pushing it! (The wheels worked perfectly with little effort at all! I fact we had to set the wheel speed to slow to slow him down!)

My daughter and son-in-law both thought it was perfect for him. It is plastic but substantial. Parts are sturdy. The instructions for assembly are easy to understand and uncomplicated. You do need a hammer to insert the rear wheels properly and it shows that step in the instructions. I used my meat mallet. The front wheels have to be put on by hand and it did take some strength to get the wheels on all the way. They must be on the way they look in the instructions even though they are on tight before that.) Perhaps that was the problem the other reviewer had with the wheels not turning properly. We had NO trouble at all.

I am very happy with this purchase and would have no hesitation in giving this as gift.

It is so sturdy that he can pull up without tipping it over. And it is great on our wood floor with the adjustable resistance. GREAT PRODUCT!! This telescope is a great value for the money. It has some serious weight to it nice brass and glass telescope. The optics are not flawless (I've been involved with telescopes for many years as an amateur astronomer) it can be a little tricky getting the right spot to look through (don't wear glasses) but it is kind of reminiscent of how an old telescope might be. To focus you must slide the last piece in and out it works pretty easily. It feels well built. It expands and collapses smoothly without feeling flimsy at all, it is nice and tightly fitted. The box it comes in is quite nice as well. While this is not intended for serious use, it can be quite a fun telescope to play around with. Hard to believe they are able to sell it for this price, actually!
