I'm an engineering student, and this has completely changed the way I draw diagrams. Seriously, it's no trivial thing to replace the ruler and protractor with one thing that works better than both. Not only does it do lines and angles, it can do circles with 1, 2, 3, 4, or 5 inch radii by holding one half still and spinning the other half with your pencil in the hole. Habimg this makes my engineering classmates (and teachers) jealous.

Sadly some sellers have this listed under "toy". (How to lose sales.) This a great tool that will hold the angle for important measurements for artists and adult hobbyists, not just a childs toy as someone decided to title them under. This item is not made of sturdy, thick plastic, it's a flexible piece, seeming thinner than the see through plastic rulers with red lines many of us use. I have seen angle rulers thiner and I'v seen them thicker years back, but every single one I shopped in the computer, seems to be described exactly the same and looks the same, charging a little over a dollar to stupidly expensive for the same item, so buyer beware. I purchased mine off the USED section here on Amazon because of approved sellers, (thank you Amazon for the honest liberty of choices and a chance to shop for other prices). Since I purchased this from the other source, if your angle ruler describes differently, please, tell us about it. The one I got might be classified a toy by someone, but, no matter what it's a good, usable tool for my art, and I'm pretty advanced. Mine is the "Safe-T" brand, there are 3 sellers on Amazon, prices vary, but, it sounds like the same one to me. I also want to thank OZBO, the seller I purchased from, for over the top packaging. I will buy from them again.

If your kid is in school struggling to learn angles then this is the perfect ruler for you. They can easily measure any angle in rectangles and triangles with exacting results. It really gave them the confidence to understand and complete their homework.

If Safe-T is looking for product improvements they might consider using a larger font and different color for key measurements like 45 & 90.

A good product for the price. Does angles well. Don't care for the straight measuring with the bend in the middle. Great product for the price. Would order again.
