My son got this truck at 11 months old. He loves all types of cars and red is his favorite color, so naturally this was a hit. He'll just sit on the floor, rolling it back and forth, while making truck sounds. He likes to spin the wheels, too. It's a small truck, so it fits well in a baby/toddler's hand, and the wheels are the only moving part. It seems very sturdy and safe. We've had it three months and he plays with it everyday.

I have had this set for over 2 years and it is still going strong! I use it during live shows and in recordings and the high pitch cuts through amped guitars and a full drum kit very well. This is not a toy; it can be used as a professional musical instrumentmine has been around the country a few times and is still in great shape. The mallets that come with it actually have a good sound but they are kind of flimsy. I had to glue the ball part back on to the handle on both of them eventually. When the handles broke I bought the Mike Balter MBB7 hard mallets because I need my sound to be LOUD. I love this little kit and even if I eventually get a more expensive set I will still use this one when I need a loud clear bell sound.

My 8 year old grandson loves his littleBits. I've sent him sets and pieces and they intrigue him and keep him interested for long periods of time. They are well made and do what is promised. I ordered these cubes to teach my son about fractions, decimals, percentages and how they interrelate. The cubes that arrive are marked with fractions on one side and blank on the other three. That completely defeats the purpose, and as far as I'm concerned, makes it 3/4ths worthless since only 1/4 of the sides are marked. It would have been one thing if the picture didn't show the other sides marked, but they CLEARLY are. As far as I'm concerned, this is false advertising.

I bought this manipulative to help 4th and 5th graders better understand the concepts of, and interrelationships between, fractions, decimals, and percentages. It has been especially beneficial for struggling students, especially those that are visual learners. It has really helped my students to develop a much clearer understanding of these concepts.

Another reviewer commented that they were very disappointed because the pieces were not labeled on all sides. That customer must have received a faulty product. The Equivalency Cubes I received are clearly labeled on 3 sides: one side has the fraction, one has the decimal, and one has the percentage.

I tutor math for grades K-12, but have noticed a major deficiency in most children's knowledge of fractions, decimals, and percents. I already own the Learning Resources Deluxe Fraction Tower, but I bought these to help youth who were struggling with converting fractions to percents or decimals. So far, it's been a hit! I love that they are built to teach all the aspects of the base ten number system, such as unit fractions (fractions that equal one). How 10% is the same as 1/10 and .1. The kids love that they are colorful and stick together like legos! In fact, my five year old son has a great time dumping all of these out of the package and trying to see what kinds of things he can build with them. This has given me some great opportunities to introduce fractions to him, without him knowing that he's learning. (A parent's dream!) I would highly recommend these for any setting: home, classroom, tutor, homeschool, etc.

I use this when I am cooking with my daugther to help gain a concept of fractions and whole numbers. She is only 5 and I do not expect her to fully grasp the concept, but using this in conjunction with measuring cups and following a recipe I read out to her makes for a solid learning experience. It just adds to the fun of the activity, so it's a nice twist. I think something like this will be huge as she gets older and can visually appreciate the fractions and how they relate.

These puppets were purchased to use as a play therapy tool for children (in my therapeutic practice). They definitely work, however, the hair is a little flimsy, with peices of it sort of shedding a bit. Otherwise for the money, they do the trick and kids so far have enjoyed them!

I ordered this pergola for my backyard. I am going to plant grapes next to it in hopes that they will climb up around and across the pergola over the next few years.

It was delivered to my house a little later than UPS arranged with me so I was not home. It was left on a wooden pallet in my driveway. I simply opened the box and moved all the pieces to my backyard as the box would have been too difficult to move by myself.

The directions state it will take two adults 5 hours to construct this pergola. I managed to put it together alone in about ten hours. The directions are clear and easy to follow except for the updated directions for constructing the swing part. I found those difficult as the new parts were not labeled the same way as the original parts...and the swing's side boards did not have some of the larger holes pre drilled. I ended up referring to the original swing directions and then adapted the new directions for attaching the chain, with the new parts to the swing. It seemed to me the updated directions are to ensure the swing stays safely attached to the pergola. I think it took me longer than the directions anticipated because I only have one old cordless drill, so I found by the end of construction my thumb hurt from unscrewing and screwing my chuck constantly, to change from my drill bit to screw bit over and over and over (two drills would have been much, much better.) I also made one artistic decision on the sun burst pattern found on the bottom sides of the pergola. The directions want two of the wooden rays to be at 90° angles (evenly spaced), but I decided one looks much better, and since this is for me I left one off on each side.

I am pretty happy with how it came out and I can't wait to see my grapevines covering it in a few years.

What do you get when you order this product? You get a box full of pre-cut, stained lengths of cedar and a lot of hardware. The instructions are also included, but don't depend on those. They have misleading information and refer to pieces that aren't included or are labeled differently. Most of the holes are not pre-drilled, so you have to do that yourself. You'll need drill bits from 1/8" up to 1/2" to complete this project.

Despite the poor instructions, the finished product looks nice, which is why I gave it 3 stars. Two people can complete the assembly while working together. It took us two days and one night to build and assemble this Cedar Pergola Swing. After assembly, two average-sized people can sit comfortably with one small child in between.

I got this swing to set under a tree in my front yard for my son and I to wait for the school bus. He is in Kindergarten and I wanted a designated place for him to be able to wait away from the street. It took a few days for set up because of time restraints. I was able to complete this project in about 3 days in 3-4 hour time frames per day. I also added some outdoor fabric over the top of my pergola because I have quite a few birds that love my tree also! The fabric is not visible from the street but it keeps debris out of the seat and makes things cooler in the afternoon. My son and I love that this swing has a raised floor. When it is raining it is a nice little place for us to wait for the bus.

Works perfectly, as advertised. It's on the expensive side compared to, for example, the Summit Backyard Safari Bug Vacuum for around $14. That one comes with batteries, but read the reviews, the batteries are cheap and often worn down, giving the impression it doesn't work well. I ordered that one first. It was good when it worked, but the battery door screw was stripped to begin with (new product) and the batteries seated poorly. This one feel much better built, and the battery screw and compartment are much more robust. The Summit one is shaped like a gun; hold the handle and pull the trigger. But that leads to what I suspect makes many users think the vacuum is too weak. Yes, the vacuum on any bug toy is weak so it doesn't damage the bugs. This means it can't suck very well STRAIGHT UP. With the Summit, the temptation is to hold it vertically over the bug, and that just isn't effective. With the Uncle Milton, the end of the sucker is cut at an angle, encouraging one to hold it at just a little over horizontal. This works wonders for the vacuum of both units, although this one works even better since it is cut on an angle.

At first it seemed it would be clumsy, without the Summit's pistol grip. But again, this encourages one to not try to suck straight up. The battery compartment has a flat bottom, and this makes it very convenient to set on a floor or table for observation of the bugs. It has both an on-off switch and a push button. Seemed like this might be extraneous, but it's a good feature. The push button is used for on/off during a bugging session. Then, the unit can be turned off with a slide switch so if it's put in luggage or a toy chest etc. it won't accidentally come on.

What a relief to find this one well constructed, after I spent almost an hour trying to make the Summit battery connections work reliably.

I'm not actually using this as a toy but as a bug catcher. It works great! I can catch a bug in the little basket and then release it outside. Much easier and cleaner than removing squashed bug off a wall.

I purchased this item as I was tired of trying to catch flies that got into our home. They would drive me nuts bouncing off the windows and I did not like killing them. Plus killing them would leave a mess on the walls and windows. The biggest reason is that it would drive me nuts trying to capture them. It would take 10 minutes or more just to catch one fly and let him go. Now...... it only takes 2 seconds and I have them! Open the canister and let them go outside. We also have caught several spiders on the walls and ceilings which can be really difficult to catch as we all know. Again... 2 seconds later and we are letting them go outside. Perfect addition to ALL households! I cant imagine life without this now.

We hung this from the toy bar of our baby's play-mat-gym, and at first he was uninterested in it. However, once he was old enough to start grabbing and batting at things, he became utterly fascinated by the crinkly noises it makes when he grabs the points, and the jingling when he bats at it. The fluttery ribbons on the tips also seem to amuse him greatly.

This is an excellent baby-distractor for infants around 3 months, in the "ooh, I have arms and I can move them!" stage.

This toy reminds me of origami structures. It is very colourful, being made of different patterned fabric which have different textures. The little ribbons at every point is a great detail. Brightens up the pram. The plastic hook is very handy for hooking the toy on to the pram or even on the diaper bag so it doesn't take up previous real estate in the bag.

You can't go wrong with Lamaze.

My 6 year old daughter asked Santa for a pink guitar and I couldn't bring myself to buy a toy. Santa did well! This guitar is a very playable down-sized guitar with really decent action and decent sound. I tightened the tuning machine screws a bit to help the guitar stay in tune. All in all, this is a great learning instrument. The amp is nothing special, the sound is ok. Now I'm just hoping I can interest my daughter in actually learning how to play...instead of just strumming the open strings and posing like a rock star. :)

(FYI...I've played guitar for 25+ years and used to sell them for a living. So, I know what I'm talking about.)

I like this breadboard. And I just pulled the sticker off the back because it was pointless. However, a copper wire's tip broke off inside the breadboard and I can't get it out.

Nothing special about it. Works great. No problems. The backing that holds it together is not adhesive on the bottom, like some breadboards are -it just holds it together, nothing else. Sometimes, the power supply rails start to wiggle their way out if I'm holding it awkwardly rather than using the breadboard on the table or something, but it's not too bad.

I bought 5 of these boards. They are great. Great price, and they are attachable. For example, you can take off the supply rails and attach them both at one side. Or, what I like to do, you can take two boards and interlock them together. I like how you can do this.

I recommend this product if you're looking for a simple board, yet large enough to handle medium size projects, get one of these, or get a couple and they will lock together.
