I love that we work together to play the game. Everyone has a great time playing and is happy with the outcome of the game. In the game you have to work together, take care of others, plan ahead and even share your goods with others. It's a very sweet game. My 10 y.o. son enjoys the game.
We also have Harvest Time from the same company. It's one of our favorite games too. As a family, we really enjoy the games this company produces.

I think the concept of cooperative games is interesting and fun and the best thing about them is the lack of "winners" and "losers" at the end, which is nice especially when playing with people you care about (and what's fun about playing games with people you dislike?). I had previously played Wildcraft so I wasn't completely unfamiliar with the concept of cooperative board games.I played this game with another adult and two pre-teens. This game is billed as appropriate for ages 5+. It comes with several sheets of instructions. You choose which rules you follow (and corresponding level of complexity) based on the ages of the people who are playing. We, of course, jumped right in to the highest level game and then, once we started actually trying to understand the rules, backpedaled until we were playing the kiddie version. It was still a little difficult to get the hang of it right off! But we all stuck with it. Once we got the hang of it, it was quite enjoyable.
(Based on our experience, I don't know that I would recommend it for kids as young as the makers say it's for.)
Many of the game pieces, and the game box itself, are made out of fairly flimsy cardboard and would not hold up to repeated and/or rough use.
That being said, it is fairly priced for what you are getting. It was definitely creative and provided hours of entertainment once we figured out the rules. I'm glad I took the chance on a review-less game and tried it.
