This is a decent globe, especially considering the low price range. I had read other reviews saying it wasn't super accurate and cities were mislabeled but even if true, that didn't bother me; I wasn't looking for anything to navigate the world with.

The piece is well made and yes, some of the lines don't exactly match up at the equator (off about 1/16") but everything else is great; no mislabeled citites that I found, colors are bright, topography is high enough.

The stand is indeed lighter weight (thin metal) but I have had no problems with the globe tipping over. It also spins very well. Just make sure to check the screw on the bottom to retighten as necessary. A little locktite works great.

This toy is fun and educational, but there are two things that I've found to be in bad design. 1. The door to the ark falls off with a little help of my 1 year old and 2. My kids' fingers get pinched when they are trying to retrieve the pieces that get stuck inside.

My son, who will be 2 in March, just loves this toy! For a shape sorter, the added feature of the animal sounds is what keeps him coming back to it. Some problems with it are: the door on the hatch where you retrieve the shapes comes off, it is probably taken off as a way to get the pieces out because they are hard to get out of the ship, especially the round, yellow, lion piece. Also, my son has had his hand stuck in the round hole where the shape is supposed to go.

I bought this after Christmas last year and put it up. I got it out for a 7 hour plane trip that we were going on with my 18 month old son. He loved it, it was the only thing that we brought that would keep his attention over 5 min. He's actually playing with it as I'm writing this. The door does fall off very easily, there is a volume switch on it and the blocks are kind of hard to put in but my little guy started putting them in upside down and doesn't have a problem getting them in that way.

This is a fabulous toy! My daughter got it for Christmas at 6 months old, 6 months later at a year old, she still plays with it. I put it in her crib at nap time and it keeps her amused till she falls asleep. Her face always lights up with a smile when she sees it. We payed full price for it. Although there were no product reviews for this set, after much research on the alternative options available for a kid's starter music set I took a chance and ordered it. We're very pleased with the contents of the "Rhythm Bag"! Nice quality and our 2.5 year olds love the instruments. The maracas are very sturdy, large and make a nice sound (ours are purple although the photo shows them as red, but it doesn't matter to us). I priced it out to buy similar items from Amazon individually in order to make our own set and this was a MUCH cheaper option. The fabric bag is great to keep everything together. All-in-all, it's a great starter set. We added a couple of harmonicas and recorders to the mix for more fun! Don't hesitate to try it for yourself.

The Rocking Rhythm bag is exactly as pictured. What you probably wouldn't know is how WELL everything is packaged. All of the instruments were neatly placed into labeled, individual bags..this was quite impressive. I'm very pleased with the delivery of the items as well as overall product quality. My 3 and 6-year old really enjoy playing with the instruments and are quite intrigued with them. I was skeptical due to the pricing of the set, but I took a chance...I'm very pleased with my purchase and will most likely order more as gifts.

This set is exactly what we've been using in our baby class, and it does the job. The rattles are massive, and the sand blocks shed a little when used, but at the price the selection and quality are very good. The block and mallet, the bells, and the triangle all have a very pleasant sound. The booklet with ideas for musical exercises was a great addition, and the storage bag is useful.

Colors vary despite the photo, the contents can be a mixture of blue, red and/or purple.

Wow I can't believe this is selling for four bucks it's so cute. Even if you didn't have the tag reader, the stickers are pretty cute and with the tag reader, it's amazing because the stickers have so many sound effects. This would be good for a child on the younger end (2 to 4, maybe?), because there are so many things to do that don't require reading. There are pages where you can fill in the blanks with various stickers and you can shape the story based on what stickers you select. There are puppy biscuits that make "crunching" sounds, dogs which have different barking sounds just so many fun things for a child who likes animals. I really recommend it especially at this price.

I was really happy with this product and Amazon has the best price. It is durable plastic and looks like it will last for a long time. It is also long enough to hold those blank strips, I only have to cut off like 1 inch off of them to fit. Great for homeschooling or with small groups. If you have it up for a long time it does start to cave in but I rest it on it's side and it get better.

I ordered this to use for examples for class. It is plenty large, but not so large I can not carry it around. It is sturdy so that taking it from class to home and back again will not tear it up. I has plenty of pockets so that I can make sentences or use it for simple matching words.

It was perfect for what I wanted it for, especially the handle to carry it with at the top.

We don't have a lot of click-start games, but this one is by far my 4 year old daughter's favorite. That is saying something considering she has the Disney princess game and her obsession with princesses. She immediately went up to Level 2, as level 1 was waaaaay below her, but she enjoys all of the games. For a slightly younger child it may be more educational. It mainly teaches the ability to draw letters in both upper and lower case and to read numbers. Since she could already do those things, I don't think she is learning much, but she absolutely loves dressing up her puppy for the dog show.

All in all, a good investment.

We own many Leap Frog products, and this one is not my favorite. First, it is very easy for the child to adjust the volume on this toy. There are two settings: low (incredibly loud) and high (cover your ears). If you purchase this toy for your child, make sure that they play with it outside or at the other end of the house. Let's just say that if you give this as a gift, the child's parents will not be happy with you!

The bus plays "The Wheels on the Bus" song as expected, and my daughter likes to honk the horn. There are raised alphabet letters on the sides, that when pressed, will say the letter names or sounds. There is one game that does not work well on our bus, "Find the Letter". The bus will say "Find the letter G". The problem is that the bus' volume is so loud that you can't tell if it wants you to find a G,Z,B,D,C,E,P,or T. This has been very frustrating for my toddler! She's good with letter recognition, but can't find the right letter because she can't understand which one it wants. I can't understand it either.

Our 10 month old enjoys this toy with the sound off. But when I turn the sound on, she cries. It scares her!

Parents, keep looking. There are better Leap Frog choices out there.

I bought this for my son a few years ago because he loved buses, but I was soon sorry I did. It was very loud and annoying, and he stopped playing with it after a short while. The characters tell annoying, stupid jokes over and over, and worst thing was that it kept saying "Push one of my friends"a GREAT thing to tell a kid to do. Of course they meant one of the "friends" on the little bus, but I'm not sure if my son realized that! I tried to contact the company to complain about that one, but they never responded.

We bought this toy for our 10 month old because he loved the song, "Wheels on the bus". He loves it! He is now 18 months and still plays with it. At the beginning he just played with the buttons that made the song come on and the animals. As soon as the song came on he would smile and dance! As he got older he became more interested in the alphabet buttons. Now he imitates the sounds of the alphabet and some of the animals. He also pushes it around with his other cars. I am online buying one for my niece for Christmas. This toy has brought many smiles to my husband and I as we watch our son get so excited over it. Only drawback it is just the first verse of the song.

While my daughter was doing very well for her age when it came to reading and vocabulary, we needed something to help her with her math and numbers. This was a great book in that regard, in that it uses farm animals and other farming concepts to teach kids numbers, counting and other basic math skills. This is accomplished through reading the page, then reinforced through learning exercises disguised as games.

My daughter found the exercises fun, so she was happy with the book. Whereas my wife and I watched as my daughter learned her numbers and counting, and as a bonus some farming vocabulary, so we were happy that it accomplished its purpose.

This toy is pretty cute we always take it when we travel since it seems to hold our very active son's interest and when in doubt, you always have the blocks to use separately. My son initially enjoyed watching us play with it when he was about 6 mos. old and now that he is 8 mos. old, he can put the blocks in the holes himself and seems to enjoy the different animal noises. The woman's voice isn't too annoying;we don't usually buy many toys which require batteries, but this was a gift and it seems to be something he comes back to again and again.

We got the Learning Town Barn Buddies about a week ago and my baby loves it. My son copies the animal noises that the toy makes and generally has a great time playing with it. The design is smart in that the blocks can fit in any direction and the toy still responds. The blocks are a good size for his little hands and he is able to get the block into the square hole by himself to cause the noises, songs and words to pour forth. He also enjoys putting the blocks down the chute so the toy says "wheee!"

The toy includes three colored blocks and each color corresponds to a different animal (pink pig, yellow duck and brown cow). The pink block (pig) is preset in the barn and the toy has batteries already so we were able to hear the pink pig noises as soon as we opened the Amazon box. It was hard to get out of the packaging but that seems fairly standard these days. Once we got it out of the packaging, he could play with it immediatly. A big plus: the toy has two volume settings. We keep it on low volume and keep our parental sanity. The toy can be turned off completely also.

He figured out very quickly where all of the blocks go and how to make them make different sounds he loves all of the songs. My 8 month old daughter loves loves loves this toy. When we received it in the mail she wanted to play with it but it was a Christmas present so it went to be wrapped. We were shopping a few days later and she saw it on the shelf. She went crazy. Now that she has it to play with it is definitely one of her very favorites. The blocks are a perfect sizes for her hands. She often plays with them by themselves. She loves the song and words often trying to imitate them. We are still working on getting her to be able to put the blocks in the hole herself that will come in time. One of the great things about this toy is the blocks from the other learning town sets (such as Happy Home and the Car Wash) will work in this one also.

I purchased this wooden puzzle for my 20 month old son. It is absolutely adorable and unique. It's a fun puzzle for any age, really. It is great because it has many different play options, yet it is such a simple toy. Although my son is still too young to actually put the puzzle together, he does try. He loves holding the smaller dogs in his hands (it must be because of the wooden texture and their interesting shapes). He also likes to put them all in the wooden box and dump them out. He sets them up and knocks them over like dominos. He rides them around in his tractor. I've even seen him stacking them to create a dog tower. It is a fantastic play set. Very well made. It's solid wood. And each colored dog is painted well. The paint won't chip, no matter how often he drops them. And at the end of the day, when he's finished playing, I get to nestled the dogs back in their box to be ready for the next day's adventures. We are very pleased with this puzzle. I hope to see more of these from BeginAgain.

I was very excited to receive this puzzle and I was only deceived by the cheap quality/look of the painting.

It's a bit uneven and the colours are not as bright as expected.

Other than that, I am very pleased with this purchase. My 2 year old loves these puppies, carry them all around the house, assembles the puzzles flat and vertically. Not too easy to assemble and perfect for developing their fine motor skills.

I'm enjoying playing with it as much as he does and the box is a great help for clean up time!
