Both my 4 yr old and 2 yr old sons are big Scooby Doo fans. They show the old shows on Boomerang Network here in Singapore. They already had the tag pen so this purchase was a no brainer. Kids love the story and the games, they've unlocked 4 of the 6 rewards too( rewards are kind of weak in my book but kids love getting them). Only negative is matching the parts of the castle with the words, very hard for the kids. They've looked at this book well over 50X so I consider it a good buy

My kids love Scooby Doo and their Tag Reading Systems, so this purchase was a no-brainer. Although it lacks a lot of the educational elements of some of the other Tag books (e.g. Spongebob), the most important way to foster a love of reading is to choose books that have an element of excitement and entertainment. In this way, Scooby Doo and the Shiny Spooky Knights fits the bill perfectly. In conclusion, if you are trying to select the most educational tag books and are open to a variety of characters and subjects, you may want to look elsewhere. However, if you are dealing with a Scooby Doo fanatic, you won't regret this purchase.

My boyfriend and I got the Tag reading pen along with this book and one other for x-mas and our son loves it! I continue to be amazed at how every single thing on the page that you touch with the reading pen makes noise. Whether it's music or the story being told or each of the characters having something different to say. Of course both of the Tag reading books that my son recieved have these wonderful features, but my son likes this Scooby Doo book especially because he loves spooky, Halloween type things. This book plays spooky music as well as funny sounds that he really enjoys. Our son is 4yrs and two months old and while he really enjoys having the story read to him as well as bing in control of the reading of each page, I don't however belive that he is gaining a whole lot of knowledge about learning how to read each word or sentences at all by playing with this book. Perhaps when he is a bit older, but right now it is just fun for him to have the book read to him as well as being in control of all the different fun sounds that each page makes. So if your child enjoys spooky sounds and reading this is the book for him/her!

Best Meade Coronado Goto Telescope Mount, 497, Milapse Deals

I did not fully follow the instructions on the Milapse youtube video, so I missed the part where the new controller cannot be controlled by a PC. That is my fault and not the vendor. The package arrived before I expected it and in top condition. As to being able to use it with my cameras, yep it'll do many of the functions I hoped it could. It won't work well as a tracking head for my jib crane, as it is too noisy and slow, but it will work for many other areas. For timelapse, I just figured out how to make it work using good old pencil and math and it does a great job. I think I can probably hack into the controller and get it to work with pc controls, but that is down the road. Overall, I'm well pleased.

My kids loved these. You actually begin with a skeleton and you build the "skin" by adding the clay. It is a great, educational and fun project. It is pretty easy for the kids to get great results if they are old enough to follow the instructions. The instructions are well written and include pictures.

I run a preschool and daycare program and I purchased this toy to augment the existing peg boards and pegs that we currently have. I think the concept is great however the materials are lacking especially for the price. The base board is thick enough to support the pegs and building however the platform pieces are very thin. My kids were super excited to play with the set but we've already had several bouts of tears because unless they keep the pegs in alignment with the lower level pegs, the structure collapses. Maybe this is a great way to teach building structure concepts for older children, but for preschool aged children, it has become an exercise in frustration. Also, the pegs are not compatible with other pegs found at teacher supply stores so the sets cannot be mixed together. Since this product just arrived I have no comment on the durability of the platform pieces but honestly, I am not that optimistic.

My 9 year old just informed me that if the platform pieces were thicker, the pegs wouldn't connect with each other. For this price, why not make the pegs slightly longer and the platforms thicker? Oh well, I think it is important to note these are not compatible with other peg sets purchased elsewhere, only with Lauri brand peg sets.

For my needs, If I had realized the differences I would not have made this purchase.

I had originally purchased this set for my 5 year old daughter. I'm not only a homeschooling mother of eight but I also have dual degree in elementary and special ed. I thought this would be ideal for my 5 year old and kicked myself for not finding this years ago for my older kids. Instead, when the box came, it was my 13 yr old who snuck this away to play with and only when his little sister happened to walk by and see it and she shrieked, "That's MY toy!" did he give it up.

My husband has also been caught playing with this too. It is alot of fun and very creative. Our family has spent hours playing with this.

The quality of the pegs are excellent and their large size fit nicely into any hand size. The large foam pegboard that makes the base is thick and sturdy. The pegboards that make the building platforms are very thin but sturdy during regular use.

Overall, we are thrilled with this new "electronically free" toy :)

These worked great...the kids loved them. I did try using smaller bottles so it would be easier for the kiddos to use, but it did not work as well. So I had to use the big 2 liter bottles. It did make it difficult for the 1st graders to turn over on their own...but they eventually got the hang of it. There was a bit of water leaking out, so I just put a towel on the science table and it was no biggy. Worth the price to liven up the science table a bit!

Cute little bugs, but the magnets that are suppossed to link them together aren't actually strong enough to hold them together. My daughter likes them, but can't play with as a train unless she's on the hardwood floor. This little cash register is a fun was for teaching numbers and the ABC's. I actually purchased it for my 12 month old, but my 3 yr old has been using it more than the 12 mo old.
