I bought this for my 4 yr old granddaughter and was expecting them to be loose so she could hold and evaluate them. They are glued in the case so I returned them. However if that is what someone is expecting they are great.

I am updating this review as I have been charged for this item even though I have returned it. There is no number to call to discuss this with any one so I'm hoping this will get some ones attention and contact me.

The stones are somewhat small and they are glued into the box. On the one hand that makes them stay in place and the specimens won't get lost but I had hoped to put them under a microscope for more detailed study. Small booklet that comes with it explains some of the minerals but the selection is not blinky blink enough to gain much attention from my 5 year old. Maybe a bit later...

We researched MANY baby walkers & I really wanted to purchase one that had an option to change the tension on the wheels. Sadly, the few that I found were too pricey for my pocket. I liked that this walker had rubber on the wheels but was made of all wood the blocks are just a bonus. Our son had a hard time turning this when he first started using it, but with more experience he soon started to figure out how to turn it and slow down before hitting walls, etc. (It's all part of the learning process.) Now that he's walking on his own, he still loves to push this around (and run us over). It is difficult to clean the grimy kid dirt off of the areas that are raw wood (there is no clear finish on them). I've also noticed that two of the wheels have become wobbly, probably from too many sharp turns taken by my son. I wish there was a way to take them off & straighten them but I haven't figured that out yet. Overall, I'm VERY happy with this walker. It provides all the basics we needed to get our son up & walking.

The cartridge actually has three different games on it and each game has a different level. There is a matching game, and a swimming race game, and a game in which they have to find what doesn't match. I bought it over the summer for my 3 1/2 year old daughter for a long car trip and she has mastered it. Granted, it is the only one we have so she has to play it anytime she wants to play her Leapster but I think the packaging says for a 4-6 year old and I really think a 5 or 6 year old would get bored with it pretty quick. However, it has been a great investment for our family. I'm sure when she gets some new ones for Christmas, she will never pick this one up again.

compared to some of the other leapster games, this one is very short. the 3 games can be repeated for new prizes but the repetitiveness is very obvious to the kids and can be boring quickly enough. It is a nice and sweet game, I just expected a little more variety. I got this game at a half-price sale, so that was worth it, but not full price compared to other Leapster games.

This game for the LeapFrog Leapster 2 Learning Game System Pink is a great game for girls and boys. My daughter is in preschool right now and enjoys watching the Ni Hao, Kai-lan on TV. When we bought both of our kids the Leapster 2 for the holidays we were happy to find this game available for it. She really enjoys playing the games on this cartridge. Generally she has a low attention span, but it is age appropriate. On a recent road trip this game and 1 other kept her occupied for over 16 hours! I was thoroughly impressed.

I have played it a little bit but I am not completely familiar with the show so I cannot speak to the accuracy of the characters. It was fun to fiddle around with and I could see the lessons they were attempting to teach. It was done very tastefully and with enough subtlety as to not appear to be teaching without a purpose.

I would highly recommend this game for anyone with a preschool age girl or boy.

My 4 YO daughter received this game with her new Leapster II at the holidays. She had wanted it for so long and was thrilled to have a video game device like the big kids have. Now, four months later, she has yet to master an understanding of what the goal of each game is or the motions that create consistent success in the games. Granted, she doesn't even play with this every week, and she is improving every time she plays.

We do a lot of creative imaginative play at our house and also at her preschool. My husband jokes that she inherited my video gaming skills -I am famous for playing Quake and basically just standing in the corner and shooting myself or jumping into lava.

So I think the key to success with this toy is knowing the child who will be using it, and sticking to the age recommendations on the packaging. Some kids my daughter's age have mastered all the games on this cartridge; mine will be growing into it for the rest of the year.

My son loves this toy. He has had it since he was 2 months and as soon as he started liking toys, this has been a favourite. He is now 9 months and still picks it out of a pile of toys. I ordered the spin bell thinking it was in fact an actual bell. It's constructed well and seems very durable, but it appears to be only bell-like in shape as it makes no sound other than the little balls clinking together. It makes me wonder if it's broken. I hate to provide a mediocre rating, but I never would've paid $25 for this knowing there was no bell involved.

I bought this for my son as a Christmas gift he loves it! This is a starter guitar for him and we wanted a real guitar without spending too much money (before we know how much he will use it). This guitar was perfect! At right around $100 it comes with everything it was so easy to set up and tune he was able to play Christmas day. Definitely a great choice for a beginner.

Customer review from the Amazon Vine Program I picked out the Hape Galloping Zebra Cart for a friend who has an 11-month-old and a 3-year-old, each of whom immediately giggled with joy upon seeing the colors and zebras. The cart is super easy to build, utilizing the enclosed tool, so even the novice handy-person will look like a hero after assembly. The build quality is top-notch and seems well-designed for years of (ab)use. The major downside is the price, which does seem a little bit high, considering the cart's limited use (it's a, ahem, one-trick pony?).

But overall it is a great training tool for kids learning to walk, and it's nice to give a toy/gift that does not contain a single electronic component!

I purchased this cart for my son who was turning one. He had started to take a few steps and I though this would help boost his interest in walking. I was right! He started walking with it the day of his party and has been enjoying it ever since! He loves the zebras and even totes small toys in the back portion while he walks. It definitely helped him develop interest and desire to walk and it is extremely sturdy not to mention adorable! Some reviews warned that it was too short but I didn't have that problem at all. It was just right for my big boy...he is extremely tall, 32" and 30lbs. Definitely recommend this toy!

I was shocked. I thought that all toys were plastic! With any luck, it should last through several children, as long as it is taken away when they think it should be used to stand in.

The cart requires significant assembly, but it's easy and there's a little tool in the box. This brings me to a caveat for your small baby, who may have gotten this as a gift before she can walk. If baby is old enough to sit but not walking yet, you cannot give it to the child when the uprights and handle are on the wheeled box. It occurred to me when I thought about a child pulling up on it to stand. If it goes anywhere, the kid is going to fall. If I had a child too young to walk, I'd wait a bit before presenting it to my sweetie.

Once your kid is walking, (s)he'll have a blast with this. It can become so many things a zoo cart, a shopping carriage, a baby carriage, an ambulance for injured stuffed animals, a sports car with two "ponies" under the hood, whatever you want. Because it isn't promoting a cereal or cartoon character, there are unlimited opportunities for imaginative play. The toy is well made and should last through many children or even a small nursery school class.

My grandson, age 2, loved this puzzle. He is really getting good use out of it. The pieces are sturdy, and he can do this independently. When I bought this one, I also got a second one by the same maker. As a teacher, I think this helps with eye hand coordination and spatial awareness, as well as problem solving.

My 3 year old son needs reinforcement with his speech. He attends a daycare learning academy where he takes speech therapy twice a week, but I wanted something extra for him to have at home. He loves this thing because it's fun, educational but not difficult, does not seem like schoolwork, and it's right on his learning level. I had to buy an extra joystick because his friends and cousins think this is more of a video game system than edutainment. They are learning and not knowing it. His speech therapist saw an improvement in phonics and excitement for learning within the first week. This is the greatest toy/gift/tutor that you can get for your kid 3 yrs and up. First of all let me say, I only kept this item because I got it on sale for $25, it is not worth $50! We have alot of Haba toys & this is was a disappointment. All of the wheels don't even turn on the first car with the driver the back wheels are put on so that the car will bounce when driving, well, it doesn't. Also, the squeeker button on the front only squeeks if you push it just right, basically if the parent does it. It's a cute train just not worth the price & the craftsmanship is shoddy.

but most of haba stuff is adorable. well made. durable non chip paint. they are kind of heavy but that isn't really a bad thing. it was just hard for our son to pick them all up at once for awhile. they roll reallllly well on carpet.

I purchased one of these for my 4 year old granddaughter she loves it. She has had it for about 1 1/2 years, it has had some pretty rough treatment and is still in good condition. Her 2 year old brother started "borrowing" her guitar so much that I purchased this one for him. Even though the description says "Mini", I think this is the perfect size for smaller children. My granddaughter will be using this for at least a few more years. It's well worth the cost.
