I got this for my niece's kindergarten, where they're very academically focused, to go in their language "center". They have letter stamps there and letter hole punches, so I thought it would fit right in. I chose lowercase because the teacher commented to me that a lot of children come to school knowing capital letters, but what they *really* need to know are lowercase letters because we use them so often. (Parents of preschoolers, take note!)

She told me just the other day that they're a big hit. The kids love making words (and building important fine-motor skills in the process lacing helps you practice the tripod grip and it's a good life-skill as well) and then turning them into bracelets and whatnot :)

One problem the aglets (the plastic-covered parts) on the laces are a smidge too short to go through the longest letters, w and m. You have to kinda shove by the lace, and that's a pain. Still, it's not totally insurmountable.

I used Eggspert for the first time just the other day in my AP Spanish class. It's a very small class of advanced students so discipline is not an issue. I just wanted to spice things up for them a little bit. I created a Jeopardy game with questions using the grammar we have been studying and the students played. They were really excited about it. This is a great alternative to other much more expensive game buzzers. It has plenty of buzzers (6) and it is pretty durable so far. It works exactly like Jeopardy and it also has a random selection mode. It allows you to set a time limit for the contestant to answer the questions (5-20 secs). It also has an AC adapter so you dont have to waste buying AA battiers.

Great product,very durable. Makes learning very competitive, but fun. We used it at my parent's 40th anniversary party for a jeopardy game. It was a lot of fun. I also use it with my children who are homeschooled for a variety of school subjects. I use the wheel of fortune for my 2nd grade religion class and church. We play for candy. Well worth the cost. Can be used with batteries-comes with a plug & a built in timer. Have everyone test run their buzzer, so they know it works. It works, but people playing will say their buzzer is broken, it's not -someone else is faster. High schoolers love it too.

I'm so glad I bought this item! The Eggspert buzzer system is something I use often in my classroom. It makes it much easier to play Jeopardy-type games and keep track of who is first. I can even set a time limit for answering a question. My fourth-grade students love Eggspert! I use a PowerPoint file as a Jeopardy game with questions in Vocabulary, Comprehension, Grammar, etc. so we are reviewing key points in a fun and exciting atmosphere.

This was a Christmas gift for our grandaughter and she was so fascinated by it. All the movements and stories just kept her occupied. The one we initially recieved was defective after a short while but the manufacturer swapped it out, no problem.

When my niece was 14 month, she had no real words. I got this toy for her since this toy exposes babies to first words through realistic photographic images. She likes to play with this bus. This toy has both learning mode and music mode. My niece was attracted by the bright-colored images. Within a week, she started to pick up the word "apple" and "nana". Before long, she has learned all first words offered by this toy. My sister was thrilled.

I bought this toy for my daughter who turned one in October. It's a cute toy. The sounds of taking pictures are interesting and engaging. My daughter pushes it along the floor as she crawls. It's easy for her to maneuver. Sometimes she will sit and hold it and push the buttons to watch the pictures change. Each reel has three pictures. I like the size and the weight of the toy. It's not too heavy. It's a good size for her hands to hold. My son (3 year old) really has no interest in this toy. At first he would take it from her, but now that it's been here for a while, he doesn't want to play with it. I think the age range is very appropriate. It's rather simple and for the price ($), you can't go wrong.
