Buy Fisher-Price Topzy Tumblers Whirl 'n Tumble Elephant
I bought this for my 9 month old son, hoping it would encourage him to crawl. He hasn't crawled yet, but this toy was an immediate favorite! Pushing the elephant makes a loud clicking noise in either direction and the little topzy turns over inside as the elephant rolls. Our baby finds this completely fascinating. The baby can push and pull the toy himself, even on his tummy and he can hold it and pick it up. The wheels are not soft, but the plastic has kind of a matte texture that he can chew on when he puts the wheels in his mouth. The topzy toy comes out and is the perfect size for little hands. Baby puts it in his mouth of course, and picks it up and sets it down all over the place. He loves for us to roll it back and forth in front of him. This has been a fantastic toy and I expect we will get many more hours of fun from it especially when we do start to crawl!

I bought this kumon workbook since my kid goes to a Kumon and i trust them so well. It is a good book which has a lot of activities and games and the kid is learning to count and write numbers from 1 to 120.Good book. will recommend it to kids age 3 to 4.
Cheap Smart Cycle Elmo Software
Our sons are 2.5 and 6. The Smart Cycle is great because it keeps minds and bodies engaged. Big brother pedals while little brother points and shouts answers. Our 6yo thinks the games are too easy now since he has memorized everything. This is a great rainy day or evening time activity prior to winding down. We have all game cartridges; very repetitive. Maybe intentionally so. We kept buying hoping for variation. The character changes make repetition a little less obvious. Games aside, turn the Smart Cycle off and you still have a stationery exercise bike!
The Elmo game seems to be holding up just fine like the others he has. And is as educational.

My Grandson seems to love it. He's had the SmartCyle since Christmas and needs a new game now and then. I like the fact he thinks he's playing and we know he's learning.The Elmo game seems to be holding up just fine like the others he has. And is as educational.

My wife is a 1st Grade Teacher and had a field / science round robin "training" day where she taught the same class all day and the different classes at her school rotated through. Her class had already caught tadpoles and had them in a frog aquarium. This learning aid was Wonderful and well worth the cost. the children Loved it, and it helped them learn / understand. Win! Win! Best Melissa & Doug Shape Sequence Sorting Set Deals
A good buy, my 23 month old loves this one! I love it too, with the extension activities there is a lot or room to grow with this puzzle.
was donated (brand new) to our classroom community, we have 20 children aged 3 to 5 enrolled. I was excited when I set it out in our math area, because I love Melissa and Doug toys (they are inviting, durable, and they offer many levels of open ended play) and this did not disappoint me. This awesome learning toy is utilized every day by students of both genders and varying levels of development. Here are some of the ways I have observed my students playing with the Shape Sequence Sorting Set:
The way it was intended, as an open ended sequence puzzle that has more than one possible solution, this was how I introduced it and almost everyone tried it and eventually accomplished it. (Cool early math)
I have "caught" more advanced students quizzing younger students saying, hand me the tallest ones, the blue one, the triangle....etc. (Boy did I praise them for this and now it is a common occurrence in my classroom ... yay)!
Using the pieces without the board to stack a tower that stays up. (Great for improving spatial understanding)
Creating an impromptu dollhouse by using the blocks as furniture, and props from our block area (Dramatic play)!
All in all, this is a solid asset to help young children learn and discover many different academic concepts through play. It would be great addition to an early childhood program as well as to any home with a young child. I promise to update my review with more observations, as my brilliant class find new and fun ways to play!
Bonus: My class is notorious for losing pieces to puzzle like toys (I think it is almost unavoidable in a classroom setting) but we have had this for 4 months ....and we still have all the pieces!

I think this is a very well made product. I thought my daughter would enjoy it more than she did. I think she may be a little old for it. She played with for 2 days then became bored with it. My little boy got this for his second birthday and has really enjoyed it in the month since. The pieces vary by shape, size, and color, so it is good for learning those things. It's not very difficult for him to assmeble, but he's found other fun ways of playing with it. (Like stacking the blocks and knocking them over.) Replogle Globes Freedom Globe, Antique Ocean, 12-Inch Diameter Reviews
The globe would have been decorative although the 12" is small for practical use. However, it arrived damaged with parts missing. It had been already returned by someone else and shipped to me "as is"; in fact it still had the return label on it from the other person. Bad experience from Amazon; not like other items I have previously ordered.

I bought this globe as a gift for my son. He had seen one in a store and said it was a beautiful globe, and finely detailed as well. He wanted this for his birthday before he headed to Baghdad for his first deployment as a 2nd Lt. It arrived promptly and in excellent condition.
