I participated in an event for kids. Each group had to come up with an activity that corresponded with a letter of the alphabet...Our letter was(I). We titled our activity...... kids " IN ACTION" .....and the cards were great.....

I bought these to add some variety to our children's morning exercise routine. They enjoy using them, and it keeps me from having to come up with different exercises. We haven't tried any of the games yet, since the weather is still warm enough that we play outside. But, I expect to use those this winter while indoors. The only thing I don't like about them is that some of the exercises don't have enough explanation and/or good enough picture. And I've had to modify some of them to make them a bit more challenging. Overall, however, I think they have been a good addition to our activities.

We got this movie for Christmas, and he also received the book. It is by far, the most interactive book we own! My son has played with it non-stop, and has learned the continents, what makes a baloon fly, counting and cool facts about jungle animals. His favorite is the harpee eagle, which can eat a monkey! Definately recommend this book for anyone!! Every other page has games, asking about the story or the picture, keeping my son entertained and looking the entire time! The back of the book also has more quizes for him to answer, using pictures throughout the book as answers. He hasn't quiet grasped the fact that it helps him read (only 3 1/2)...but he loves touching each character and image to hear what it has to say!

My grandson has seven or more Leap Frog books and uses them almost daily I usually buy him books at least once a month, and we have found many wonderful stories to be read and re-read together. This book is not one we will probably read again. If you are not deeply acquainted with the movie "Up", the story makes no sense whatsoever. My grandson was trying to memorize the characters, of which there are many that have minor bit roles in the book. He had tried to read it through by himself and gave it up. I read it to him about three or four times trying to furnish missing information so it would make sense. There was just too much missing info. Why would the dogs attack? Why did the name of the dog's owner matter? Did Carl ever make it to Paradise Valley? Why were the dogs attacking them in bi-planes? Most books from movies concentrate on one small section of the story. This one tried to cover the whole movie in a few pages. Unless the child is deeply acquainted with the move, this book is just a waste of money.

We have about a dozen tag books. Up was such a great movie, that we thought this would be fun on TAG. The voices are really fun. The games are pretty good. The story is excellent.

My First Brain Quest (Ages 2 to 3) Review

Customer Ratings:

We took My First Brain Quest on a recent plane trip with my 25 month old daughter. This turned out to be the perfect activity for us to do together. It kept us busy for a good portion of the trip. She liked flipping through the cards, pointing out objects she recognized, and asking questions about things that were unfamiliar. I know there were quite a few words and concepts she heard for the first time via Brain Quest and used later that week. I am so glad we brought it. It was the smallest item we brought on the plane (fits great in a travel bag!) but it's more interactive than any other book or toy we had with us, therefore it entertained us and kept us occupied for a much longer amount of time. Thumbs up from mom and 2 year old!

My son grabs the little Max pointer and off we go.The topics are clear. You can ask your child the suggested questions or embelish with ones of your own. Great story building tool. Great bonding time for us.

My two year old loves playing with Max the Monkey, and she asks to work on Brain Quest several times a day. I love it because it introduces her to language, enhances her communication skills, and opens the door to further discussion. And best of all, we get some cuddle time together.

Honest reviews on My First Brain Quest (Ages 2 to 3)

It was a birthday gift for a toddler turning two and he liked it better than any of his other toys.

I like the idea behind this brain quest, but the questions are too easy for a three year old. A young two year old will benefit from this however.

Reviews of Haba Spielstabil Shape Sorter

Customer Ratings:

I just received it yesterday, so I can't report how much play my daughter will get with this toy but so far she really likes it. She was very excited when I first opened it and couldn't wait to get her hands on it. So far she likes to shake the bucket and open and close it. It seems to be of good quality, and it is made in Germany! I love finding toys not made in China. The label says free of BPA, BaP, PAK, PVC, and Phthalates. The shapes come in pretty colors and are very lightweight. I feel this will be a great toy for some time.

Best SX RST 3/4 LH BK Left Handed Short Scale Black Guitar Package Deals

Customer Ratings:

We priced many guitars and amps for our 9 year old. This was the least expensive set for a great guitar. We checked with music stores just to be sure and they confirmed this was a great deal. The wire was broken, but I e-mailed and they sent a new one immediately. It is heavy, but my son loves it.

It's ok for the money. Bought this for my 8 year old. Keep the tuner handy. It gets out of tune real fast even with light playing. But for a starter it's not bad. Looks pretty.

These samples were great. I used them for a project I have in mineralogy. Since I chose a more abundant and cheaper mineral, it was easy for me to purchase samples at a student price.
