We priced many guitars and amps for our 9 year old. This was the least expensive set for a great guitar. We checked with music stores just to be sure and they confirmed this was a great deal. The wire was broken, but I e-mailed and they sent a new one immediately. It is heavy, but my son loves it.

It's ok for the money. Bought this for my 8 year old. Keep the tuner handy. It gets out of tune real fast even with light playing. But for a starter it's not bad. Looks pretty.
