El kit es muy bueno porque ayuda a modelar estructuras químicas y orbitales moleculares dificiles de presentar a personas que solo tienen un conocimiento incipiente en la química.Tuesday, December 31, 2013
Discount Molecular Models 261 Piece Class Organic and Inorganic Molecular
I am currently in inorganic chemistry right now and love how many pieces this comes with. Lot's of carbons and hydrogens as well as 2 metals (6 bonding sites) molecules with 5 bonding sites as well as 3 bonding sites and cute little lone pair clouds to see sigma and pi bonding. definitely helped with studying for my class. I was worried it didn't come with everything I need but it came with A LOT more than I needed. Awesome kit!

Review of Fisher-Price DC Super Friends Batmobile Light
For some reason my kids, 1 and 3, really like this toy. They like the little light and that it talks. It's a good size to push around. It's a pretty simple little toy but seems durable and they like it. It is inexpensive so why not?

Fun inexpensive toy for my two-year-old! Have to hold down the head for the light to stay on but he doesn't care. Fun to drive around and he likes that it talks!4M Crystal Mining Kit Reviews
This toy was really better than I expected. I purchased one for both my 8 and 5 year old. They started out chipping away little pieces of the hard outer plaster . After a while, my daughter got a container of warm water and realized that the water dissolved the plaster just enough to make their hammering/sawing work a bit easier. They were so excited to extract each crystal and looked at them with the magnifying glass and had a wonderful time exploring the differences/colors/textures. This simple toy kept them busy for about an hour 1/2 and they each have the 8 crystals to keep and enjoy. Would recommend highly.

My 10 year old really liked "mining" for these crystals. She did not attempt to get all the crystals out of the block in one setting. She did a little bit of chipping away of the block, whenever she felt like it. I actually found myself chipping away at it a time or two, it was thrapeutic for me:>. Once you see a piece of a crystal it's exciting. I'm going to look for a more challenging one for her this year. I recommend this, but you must have patience.Best Deals for 4M Crystal Mining Kit
I bought two of these, one for my daughter and one for my niece. My daughter (aged 5 at the time) had a great time chipping away at the rock to get all of the gems out. True, it did take her quite a while (and she switched off for a bit with her 7-year-old sister), but the only time I had to intervene was to suggest she wet the rock to make chiseling a bit easier. All told, it took a few hours (which, as a parent of four, was *brilliant*!) and resulted in quite a few nice polished stones. She keeps them in the included leather pouch and considers them one of her valued "treasures."Honest reviews on 4M Crystal Mining Kit
My 7-year old loves this. She is a hands-on learner. We were working together on the toy, just like 5 minutes ago, and then I came upstairs to order more for Christmas gifts because of the much fun she was experiencing with the kit. As I was at my computer and in the process of completing my order via Amazon, my child came running up the stairs, with dust all over her, looking very uncomfortable and blinking profusely; her eyes and the surrounding areas were beet red! She had accidentally blown the debris in her eyes! We did an eye rinse, followed by some eye drops, and then she went to fetch her swimming googles! Smart kid. I replied to her, "Are you going back for more?" Her reply: "Oh, yea!" LOL. Getting dust/debris in the eye from this toy is easy to do, so you should probably have some goggles on hand for your child, or even for you the adult, if you intend on helping out. I do not recall in the instructions that googles are recommended, but they should be. Fabulous toy but dusty! Wear googles!Find helpful customer reviews and review ratings for 4M Crystal Mining Kit
Pearl (aged seven), who also titled this review, says: I got this toy and the next day I opened it up and there was a big cube in it. At first when I digged in it, I didn't find any gems. But then, when I got a little bit farther, I started finding the gems. I loved this toy. It was kind of hard to hit it at first, though, because the cube was really hard. I used the hammer that came with it, but the hammer didn't really work so I started using a real hammer. It only took me one night. The gems are beautiful!Crystal Quartz Mining Excavation Science Kit (quartz crystals Reviews
My daughter received this Quartz Mining Kit for her 8th birthday. She had previously seen it at a toy store and asked for it. She's quite interested in rocks, minerals, and "jewels." She worked enthusiastically for an hour or so until time for that day's play ran out. Then it got more or less "put aside" for several months, until one day she asked to work on it. After perhaps two or three hours, and with some help from me, she managed to free all of the quartz crystals. She'd get quite excited when part of another crystal was uncovered, and she kept at it with just a bit of encouragement. She really enjoyed it, loves the crystals and the little bag for them. Good activity for an 8 year old child.
It is a lot of work but can be done! I recommend using several plastic picnic-type knives, with the little serrations on them. Of course the serrations become worn off, but meanwhile the child can make good progress. Try sawing, scraping, using the tool point, breaking chunks off, anything! Good outdoor project because of the dust, but we did quite a bit indoors on an old tablecloth.

This was purchased for my son for Christmas he loves studying rocks/minuerals. When he opened this gift, he immediately started "mining". You would think a child would lose interest if it takes a long time to get to the quartz, but he stayed with it and was so excited. He can't wait to go back to school and show his class.Best Deals for Crystal Quartz Mining Excavation Science Kit (quartz crystals
I got this for my daughter who is very into this sort of thing for christmas it was a hit and it has kept her very busy. This is not something they will be finished with quickly it has taken her quite awhile even with her sisters help to get the quartz out.Monday, December 30, 2013

My 8 1/2 month old son just started playing with his new Sassy Pop N Push Car. It makes a great first car! I am glad I read the reviews because the picture does make it look bigger so this video will help you see the actual size. He is just rolling it back and forth, but if you roll it back it rolls forward on it's own.
This reminds me of a toy made by a certain maker years ago (don't know if I can mention their name legally or not so I just won't) that was on a long stick and you walked behind it and it had bigger balls inside that popped...like a popcorn maker!
Cute toy, highly recommend.
I was only unhappy with the size of the car. I did not read the dimensions before purchasing so I did not realize how small the car was. It's about the size of a softball. I was thinking it was going to be about the size of a soccer ball. Because of the smaller size the balls inside are rather small and dont really catch my daughter's attention like I thought it would. But, it was my fault for not reading the dimensions.
I was, however, pleasantly surprised at the fact that it will propel itself after being pulled backward. I was not aware of that feature and was happy when I found that out.

I bought this for my granddaughter who's eight months. Even she can do this. It's actually a pull-back toy pull the car back, and let it go...and the little balls pop around. This is a very simple toy for a crawling infant to use. No parts, no blocks, no switches, just push it and watch the balls pop. Sometimes that's all they want -no bells and whistles.Honest reviews on Sassy Pop n' Push Car

Great value, durability and action! I bought this for my 15 mo. old grandson. He loved it. He doesn't get the cause and effect yet (pull back and let go) but he pretends with it all over the house and loves the noise made by the popping balls. He adds his own car sounds to it. He does hold on and crawl with it and pushes it forward and backward--sometimes lets go "accidentally" and then it scoots across the house. I am a teacher and believe it's a great buy for the money and perfect for little guys who put everything in their mouths (Match box cars are not appropriate/safe for this age). Glad I bought it.Math Smart: Addition Review
I bought this product to help my son with addition, but was a little disappointed because they are like a card game. Very thin. I was expecting more like dominoes at least a cardboard, but they are not. As to educational value they should provide reinforcement so might be helpful.

I bought this product because my 8yr old does not like math. I am always looking for games to try to entice him to practice his addition. This game is easy to learn and is based on dominoes (which he already liked). He was reluctant at first but once he got to playing the first game he declared that he liked it, a lot! He asks to play this game on a regular basis. The cards are only heavy card stock so over time and with use they will become worn or bent but the cost is low so it is worth it.Best Deals for Math Smart: Addition
I do a bit of tutoring out of my home and the kids always want "this" game when asked to pick one near the end of our session. Its a great product. I rated the durability lower because the cards are made of thin cardboard..not much the manufacturer can do about that, seeing as it is a "card" game :-).
