Came quickly. They look great on the signs we have in our arena, which had become so faded. Wish the shipping was cheaper but they are pretty heavy. No complaints. Be careful when applying. To avoid trapping bubbles of air, apply all along the top and then gently smooth it down in the center, and then down on each side.I was pleased with the cost of the product and how it looked exactly the way it did in the ad. It came in a reasonably short period of time delivered to my home without any damage or delays.

I ordered this book because I thought that the notes in the music were color coded. They are NOT. Part of the title says that it's "a collection of songs for color coded handbells...." This is a thirteen-page booklet with a CD. The CD looks good--like something beginner players could use for practice and performance. I haven't listened to it yet. I only gave this item 3 stars because of the lack of color coding, and I feel that $18 for this was too much to pay even though shipping was free. (The items were not packed well, so the book was bent and now has a crease.) The few songs that it contains look very good, but overall I'm disappointed with this purchase.Simple tunes that allow players, especially children, to make pretty music nice selection of melodies that span the church year.

I bought this for my sister for christmas. She is deaf and I thought well that would be awesome for her. And I was right. Not only does she love it. But my own children love it as well.These are just So Cool! Such a great idea for teaching ASL letters. I'll be using these regularly in my Signing Time classes!
Cheap Ant Column - Cylinder Ant Farm and Habitat
I have also kept pet ants... they don't poop in the house like dogs and cats. As a life-long ant-lover I can honestly say this is one of the best ant farms I've ever had. I dropped it with all the ants in it and not only did it not break, but it didn't even spill dirt. Definitely worth the price.
My favorite thing about the ant farm is that it is small enough for the children to hold and the cap has to be twisted off. My kiddos are old enough to know we don't take off the lid. Although, I take it off a few times a week to give them fresh air. The ants have made all these great tunnels and the kids LOVE looking at it. Not bad for ten bucks.

I bought this for my 2 year old twin girls as they are starting to get interested in bugs. We caught some ants and put them in the column. At first they didn't do much. It took several days before the ants started digging, but now we have several really great tunnels and the ants are doing well. This item is very durable and holds up to twin toddlers dropping it and shaking it (yes, those poor ants!) It's great to see the ants at work, but be sure to read the directions carefully you don't want to mix ants unless you want to see an ant war. This is very small, in fact a lot smaller than I thought. It worked out well though. I ordered this in May and put 5 ants in it from outside (all from the same colony). It's now the beginning of October and there are STILL 2 ants remaining. I let one of my students take it home for the summer and they ended up mixing ants from another colony in the ant farm. It was war, from what I heard. This was a gift for a 5-year old boy. We didn't use it so I can't speak to it's durability but it seemed well crafted and a great idea for a present. My children love these workbooks. Their colorful pages make learning fun. It has definitely helped my children learn their multiplication facts. I don't know why this one being sold on Amazon is so expensive though ($15.29). I bought mine for $3.27.
Model A-R2 Kit Rock Tumbler Reviews
First, I don't consider this a toy, but rather a tool for a hobby. A toy you play with. This, you put rocks in a barrel and leave it alone to do it's job.
But, it is a great tool. I got it for my girlfriend for Christmas. It caught me off guard when she said she wanted one, but I figured what the heck, why not. Now, almost 3 months after Christmas I'm finally writing a review. Why the delay? Because it takes a long time to finish the job.
Her first batch was with a bunch of various rocks we bought from another vendor. They looked just like a bunch of rocks, nothing fancy at all. Well, after about a week in the course grit, you could see these rock were going to look really nice. In time. All in all, the rocks went through various levels of grit, and finally polish, and came out with some very nice looking polished stones. The next step is to make some jewelry with some of the nicer ones. It's hard to believe the difference in what a plain looking rock looks like after several weeks of being ground down, smoothed and then polished.
Before her first batch was done, I decided I wanted to try some, too (a good reason to buy the two barrel model). I bought a couple pounds of Apache Tears. Well, after almost seven weeks, I took them out this past weekend. I found out after I started them, that Apache Tears are not easy to smooth and polish, but I'd already started them by then, so I was going to see it through. Wow, did they turn out great!
I do wish some of the instructions had been a bit clearer though. You need to oil the unit, but the instructions left me, at least, not sure exactly where and how to do so. Be careful when you oil it not to get any oil on the drums or rollers. The lids are a bit of a bear to get on and off until you figure it out, and perhaps there could have been better directions on those as well.
If you are going to get one of these, and you plan on doing two batches of rocks at a time, I would suggest you buy another drum, so you have at least three. Keep one for nothing but the polish stage, so you don't run the risk of contamination of the polish with some of the grit. A very thorough cleaning may alleviate that problem, but with the time it takes to complete a batch, the cost of a new barrel is negligible to ensure no problems. I actually bought two more barrels and use a different barrel for each stage. Mark them with a silver permanent marker (lids too) and you're good to go.
(Remember, too, this set is not a kit. You will need to buy the grit and polish separate.)
Although young kids will enjoy this, I still don't consider it a toy.
My problem exactly, except that I have not been able to get a reply from the manufacturer!! A couple of people seem to have solved the problem but the postings have still not shed light on HOW to do it. I have also been unable to find the oil.
I want to use this thing Not return it but there lack of good instructions or failure to respond leaves me disgusted.
REVISE Finally got a tel number ( 800 225 1017) and very helpful lady.
Drop oil into the half moon shaped openings on top of the motor housing. Do not open anything just put in a drop or 2. Can use sewing machine oil or 3 in 1 oil. It is working YEA

This is my first experience with a tumbler. The directions said to start with agates, (I didn't know what they were, so we went to a rock shop & bought some.) The tumbler works great, was made in the USA, and my 9 year old grandson is having a good time checking the progress every week. And so am I! It is incredible how beautiful the rocks are! This is my second Thumler's tumbler. The other is the 15lb model. They are both great products. The Model A-R2 is probably the best rotary tumbler for most people that will buy only one tumbler. The barrels are inexpensive, which allows you to have separate barrels for each polishing step or you can stick with the two that come with it and dedicate one to the polish stage to help avoid contamination of the polish stage with courser grits from earlier stages. The three pound barrels of the A-R2 probably make the most sense for small hobby use because they do not require as much rough rock (the 15lb model needs around 6-7lbs of rough) to fill the barrel to the correct level.Honest reviews on Model A-R2 Kit Rock Tumbler

Best Iron Filings; 12 Oz. Jar; no. DO-731019 Deals
This was a great find. The bottle is the size of my spice collection, and the top actually comes with a pour/shake top just like the spices do! We had a great time putting the filings in zippered sandwich bags, then laying them over a magnet. You can see the shape of the magnet's magnetic field if you shake them gently (with the top layer of plastic lifted slightly for the 3-D effect). Strip magnets from the fridge create a different pattern than standard N/S pole magnets. I also noticed that a little goes a long way with these. This should last quite a while.

Fun stuff to play with magnets. The only minus is the cap top doesn't work as designed. It comes with a spin top that allows you to pour out at different rates. However, the fillings get stuck in the cap so that it doesn't spin. And then the fillings that are stuck can 'leak' or fall out of the cap. I am going to resist my urge to provide a sarcastic product review. I will say this is a bottle of iron filings, if that is what you need this is it. Be aware that it is very very fine, (think grains of salt or smaller). If you get this for some purpose other than using with magnets i would recommend you get a strong magnet to assist in cleaning up the inevitable spills. I used this for wiring my finished upper floor from the basement.... yea i know "what does iron have to do with home wiring?"... well i was originally going to place a series of strong magnets on the floor upstairs then see where along the basement ceiling the filings were drawn to and use that as the marker for my drilling points... unfortunately even the neodymium magnets (the 1" cubes) was not enough for this. What did work however was pouring some on the upstairs floor and sliding the magnet along from downstairs with a person upstairs telling me when to stop sliding. Good shipping. This is not for small children. It is good for olders kids. It is a lot of fun. It can be too messy , you have to handle it with care.
