A friend recommended this Activity book and I am very grateful to her for the advise. My mom (who is a a math teacher) and I both loved the way the activities are presented in this book.
They are fun for the kids (my 4 year old just loves them), they combine many skills like writing, reading, applying logic and coloring (which is always fun) in one assignment. As a result, my daughter focuses on the fun part like solving a problem and reads the labels without even realizing that she is reading complex words like 'yellow' or 'purple', because she becomes so involved in the task.
My daughter had many different activities books, however, this seems to be one of the best so far.
