I have a 3 year old boy. He loves this game since the first time we opened the box. Not much explanation needed. You just show him the picture and ask by reading the back of the card and skip the verb. He would say it immediately. You'll know what he knows or don't. If he say it wrong, just continue and have fun. There are many ways to describe an action. Just have fun. You will be suprised how much your kid know. My boy not only learn the action verbs but also nouns and how to spell them. I recommend this card for 3 year old and up. Cheers

Kids find this very confusing. They are more focused on the color of the person than what the person is doing. It would help if all of the people were just one neutral color, or have line illustrations so the child will focus on the action and not the color
