i thought this bucket of dominoes would be sturdy smooth and slightly weighted pieces such as real dominoes. they are actually smaller than average wooden pieces. very light in weight. it shipped from Giles Toys and they were very very helpful with their friendly customer service.

I purchased these based on the Learning Resources reputation. Boy was I disappointed! The pieces were literally stuck to each other, and not just a few of them. Almost every 1 out of 5 pieces was stuck to another one. When I tried separating them, it turned out that they got stuck when the paint was still fresh, so the dots ended up sticking to other pieces, therefore creating additional dots. Also, some of the pieces lost some of their paint in the process of being separated. Needless to say, this was the worst way to teach my children how to count at a glance. In terms of quality, the pieces were too light to stand firmly. The slightest movement around them caused them to collapse. Please don't waste your money on this product. There are much better alternatives out there! I am thinking of returning them, but then I would need to pay shipping on them....

I LOVE this product. I used to play Dominoes with my grandmother, and now I'm playing it with my grandson! It's easy for him to understand, and a little math gets in there as a bonus. We even build things with them. I'd give this a 5+!

I bought these for my son's school science project. I specifically wanted some dominoes that were slightly smaller and lighter than normal. (unlike standard dominoes which are larger and heavier and made of solid polymer.) However, these dominoes are made of wood and just what I needed. They are a great price. These are not meant for professional dominoes players so don't get your hopes too high. These are great for small kids and school related activities, like learning math activities or playing in groups, or even for building things (which is what we used them for).

I purchased these as a Christmas gift for my three-year-old grandson. The quality is great, and he loves building things with them or lining them up and watching them fall. They are a nice size and easy to handle, not flimsy like the ones just meant for knocking down. They also have the dots; so, when he is older, he can play dominoes with them.
