What I love about this game:
durable material
the die is large, perfect for little hands
the actual board is made of large puzzle pieces putting them together was the first thing our son enjoyed at age 2.5 (though all the pieces seem to have the same exact size, so they don't have to be in order to fit)
no need to know numbers; the die has different colors, so as soon as your child knows colors, you can introduce this game
our son likes to play it at age 3; he now understands taking turns and how to advance the pieces
If I had to pick on something, it would be that the game clearly leads to a winner, which may not quite be age appropriate. We usually play it without keeping score. While he won't yet sit through an entire game, our 2yo son enjoys the the little animal pieces and the oversized wooden die. He likes to play for 5-10 minutes, but we rarely get through an entire game yet.
