Anything Leappad is great . Its one of the best things to come from the computer toy area for kids yet. My son is ahead of his class in reading with the help of Leappad. At 6 he reads at a midrange grade 1 student and is progressing quickly. I highly recommend This and any other Leap pad book and toy . Most schools have dropped Phonics from the classrooms and Leappad has brought it back in a fun form your little one will love...

We have the first four of the leappad phonics books as well as a whole bunch of other leappad books. My son who is beginning to read quite well at 4 doesn't usually play with the phonics books for too long but he really liked Book #4 especially the games at the end. What is quite tremendous is that where he had no real concept of spelling with the letter "u" before, he now spells with it all the time.

This was a Christmas gift for my 6 and 8 yr old sons and they are enjoying it. They have been reading anf playing the games. Very satisfied.
