WE got the butterfly treehouse for our 6 year old son after he had seen it advertised on one of his kid channels. We found our treehouse at Target and then sent away for our Caterpillars. You pay 6.00 for shipping and handling. They arrived, already crawling around in about 5 days. You don't have to do anything with them except watch. After about a week, 4 of the 5 were already in their cocoons.. The fifth one went in on the next day. A week later... We had 4 of the 5 butterflies emerge and the last one came out today. Tney are so pretty and fun to watch. WE will be releasing our butterflies probably tuesday outside and will order more in July. It's a wonderful, learning experience for children and adults alike. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

I bought this for my 5 year old grandaughter and she was absolutely blown away by it. She got home from pre-k just in time to see the butterflies actually emerge. Even releasing them was a huge adventure. Today I am buying one for my nephew and another one for her. It is that cool!

Butterfly house was as expected.
Mailed away for Caterpillars they came in about 2 weeks they were great and easy, one was already hanging from the top the other 4 were hanging by the next day. They are now hanging in the house we are waiting for them to emerge. My 2 and 8 year old girls and my 4 year old nephew LOVED watching us move them from the cup to the house. GREAT ENTERTAINMENT the adults and kids can't wait to see and feed the butterflies.

My 3 year old daughter desparately wanted this kit when she saw the commercials on TV. She was so excited when we saw it in a store that she immediately wanted it instead of the bored game we went to buy. Our butterflies just came out yesterday and she is beyond thrilled to see them and feed them. It really is a fun family experience.
