This was a Christmas present to my 9 yr old along with Paper Jamz instruments. It serves its purpose and seems to be well made. The best part is that we (he!) figured out that he could plug his MP3 player into it and use it as a speaker!

This black color is more realistic looking than the brown amp which really looks like just cardboard which is what it is actually.
