At first I thought that this kit would be educational, but not necessarily fun because science is usually overwhelming for me. I completed almost all the experiments with everything in the kit and a few things found in the kitchen (sugar, OJ, etc...).
Most younger children will need help measuring certain things, but older children and adults will be fine on their own. The instructions were very clear, step by step, and explained in detail how and why things worked.
I would recommend this kit to anyone who enjoys watching color changing, fizzy type chemical reactions. Not just kids! I'm in my early 20s and I had a blast!

My 7-1/2 year old boy with Aspergers loves chemistry, and his 3-1/2 year old brother has to do whatever big brother does. And they are both having a blast! They are learning to follow directions as well as learning the science behind what they see. I know very little about science, so I'm learning a lot, too, and I find the directions easy to follow and the explanations easy to understand.
