We all know that stage of toddler-hood. They no longer fit under the snap-in tray but you don't want them to eat on your tablecloth. This is what you get. It is multi purpose: we use it for crafts, there is learning value, it is easy to clean off, and it is hearty. We have the baseball mat and the solar system mat and my son loves both of them. Great buy!
