I bought this game for my 4 yr. old daughter for Christmas. It is her 7th cartrdge. I was terribly disappointed in how easy it is. Even set to level 3 "challenging". One of the games requires the lightning bug to catch the bubble which fills in the first letter to spell three letter words. Problem: you don't even have to move the bug. All of the right answer bubbles are in the middle and his is bound to bump into one without even touching the controls. Can you say BORING?! She can play this game in her sleep. When it is this easy, it can't be classified as educational.

We got this game for my 6 year old daughter. It is now the favorite game for all of us, my 6 year old, 5 year old, and 2.5 year old included. There is a fun cooking game where you chop and add ingredients into the gumbo soup. It is fun to use the pen, and the girls have such a great time with it. I would highly recommend this to anyone.

My 5 1/2 yr old just got this as an early Christmas gift from her grandparents, so she just played with it this morning and already we can't get it away from her. She loves it. I do wish it was a little more challenging, it says age 4-7; I'm not so sure what 7 yr old would find this entertaining, but my 5 yr old does, so I guess that is what matters. The graphics and voices are just as in the movie; the games are fun, love the gumbo recipe game. Overall, it is probably one of the best of the 5 leapster games we now have. There is one game where you help Ray the firefly; and if you saw the movie, you saw him die at the end...so when my daughter saw him in this game her face lit up and said see, he really didn't die, it was just pretend in the movie ;)

My daughter has several of the leapster 2 games: Kai-lan, Backyardigans, Disney Princesses, etc. The Princess and the Frog is her favorite. She especially loves Cooking with Tiana. She plays with this game everyday! Its both educational and fun!

My daughter is 4, and I got her this game for her birthday. She only had the Dora game before that. I was very dissapointed with this game. It is very simply concepts. My daughter does enjoy playing it, but not as much as her Dora game. The cooking with Tiana game is cute, but really it is only teaching numbers 1-5 and that's it. Part of the goal is you save points for the wedding, which you decorate Tiana and then the wedding site, but nothing educational envolved. Basically your child might enjoy it for a while, but they will get bored, I think the Dora game was a better purchase.
