After much research and going back and forth I settled on this and he other Ikea Duktig play food sets. I am SO glad I did! We purchase the Espresso Kidkraft kitchen for a Santa present and wanted to stock it with food and pots/pans. We had a 6, 3 and 11 month old when it was Christmastime. I LOVED the wooden Haba Foods... But they are tiny. I definite choking hazard for my youngest. I got wooden cutting food from M & D and then discovered the ikea. I LOVE it. Super super cute and they are I think medium sized. Smaller than life but not minuscule. M & D is cute but life sized. A problem when all play pots and pans are tiny! That's the other thing. After much research got a stainless steel play pot set. It was laughably small!!! So. .. Got the Duktig pot set. PERFECT size. Looks awesome with the kitchen! Only thing is the handles. They can't hang on anything because the holes are too small. Fixed that with a small loop of kitchen twine. Another person said the Duktig food is a choking hazard. I have all the sets and unless your baby shoves things into their mouth to excess and doesn't have a gag reflex I don't get it. I feel perfectly fine letting my baby play with them. And FYI they are machine washable!!! One more thing. I kept a few M & D things... Felt pizza and taco arts for my oldest. Scale is fine with this food. Also the M & D ice cream set. Also perfect
