We home-school and this is great, it is wide and deep enough for his computer with just enough room to take notes. Tall enough to block out most of the distractions of a busy house. Love the bottom writing surface it keeps the walls from sliding around or tipping over, very sturdy. The only thing it is missing is a cord hole but my utility knife took care of that. Big thanks to The Education Station Inc for being the only seller who would ship the carrel to AK.

I ordered one of these because the description clearly says "6/Carton", meaning that I should have gotten 6 if I ordered a quantity of 1 (carton). Instead, I just got 1, period. I wrote Amazon about this but they didn't really care and just said to contact the seller before purchasing. Well, there are about 16 sellers of this item and it sure would be easier if they just changed their description. The exception would be for one of the sellers who was selling each item for almost 5 times as the others. This seller was obviously selling 1 carton of 6 each.

As far as the item goes, its sturdy and has enough room for a 17" LCD monitor, keyboard, and mouse, which is what I wanted it for. The woodgrain is cheesy but what else would you expect from cardboard with a woodgrain print. Its sturdier than others because the sides are double thickness. Its also the only one with a bottom, which works well if you are going to be placing the carrel on one of those plastic tables that has a texture that is not a suitable writing surface.
