Bought for my 6 year old grandson who loves it when he can get it away from everyone else. Seems to hold a fascination for everyone in family from 4 to 64. We have already bought several more large and small bugs, creatures ??? for it. Neat concept and toy that has a great learning curve. They will not even realize they are learning problem solving, direction, building skills and cause and effect.

I saw this in a story about Good Housekeeping Magazine's selections of the best toys for this Christmas season. They were right! Our four year old grandson is really taken with this and his grandfather is also. The Hexbugs are an innovative design and interesting to watch their movement which is totally random. I found it so interesting that I purchased six more Hexbugs and some add-on structure. My only complaint is that it gets pretty noisy when all are running.
